Integrated perovskite/organic bulk heterojunction (BHJ) solar cells have the potential to enhance the efficiency of perovskite solar cells by a simple one‐step deposition of an organic BHJ blend photoactive layer on top of the perovskite absorber. It is found that inverted structure integrated solar cells show significantly increased short‐circuit current (Jsc) gained from the complementary absorption of the organic BHJ layer compared to the reference perovskite‐only devices. However, this increase in Jsc is not directly reflected as an increase in power conversion efficiency of the devices due to a loss of fill factor. Herein, the origin of this efficiency loss is investigated. It is found that a significant energetic barrier (≈250 meV) exists at the perovskite/organic BHJ interface. This interfacial barrier prevents efficient transport of photogenerated charge carriers (holes) from the BHJ layer to the perovskite layer, leading to charge accumulation at the perovskite/BHJ interface. Such accumulation is found to cause undesirable recombination of charge carriers, lowering surface photovoltage of the photoactive layers and device efficiency via fill factor loss. The results highlight a critical role of the interfacial energetics in such integrated cells and provide useful guidelines for photoactive materials (both perovskite and organic semiconductors) required for high‐performance devices. 相似文献

In this paper, a practical non‐linear equalizer with iterative distortion cancellation in a satellite receiver is studied. Assuming no prior satellite channel knowledge, distortion estimation and cancellation are performed at the receiver by means of a memory polynomial model used for channel estimation. A data packet transmission scenario over a single‐carrier satellite transponder is simulated, using the not‐linearized amplifier and onboard filter characteristics similar to the direct‐to‐home broadcast DVB‐S2X reference scenario. Varying the memory depth and the non‐linear order of the memory polynomial model trained in the receiver, we compared the packet‐error rate performance of the practical non‐linear equalizer to the standard fractionally spaced linear adaptive equalizer, as well as to an implementation of the non‐linear equalizer with ideal channel knowledge at the receiver. The improved receiver demonstrates superior performance as compared with the standard linear equalizer with up to 5.48‐dB energy efficiency gain for 64‐amplitude and phase‐shift keying for a practical memory polynomial set‐up, and it approaches consistently the packet‐error rate performance of the implementation with ideal channel knowledge when increasing the memory depth and the non‐linear order. Furthermore, it enables the use of high‐order modulation up to 256‐amplitude and phase‐shift keying in the studied scenario, improving significantly the spectral efficiency of the air interface. 相似文献

We demonstrate a method for incorporating wind velocity measurements from multiple‐point scanning lidars into three‐dimensional wind turbulence time series serving as input to wind turbine load simulations. Simulated lidar scanning patterns are implemented by imposing constraints on randomly generated Gaussian turbulence fields in compliance with the Mann model for neutral stability. The expected efficiency of various scanning patterns is estimated by means of the explained variance associated with the constrained field. A numerical study is made using the hawc2 aeroelastic software, whereby the constrained turbulence wind time series serves as input to load simulations on a 10 MW wind turbine model using scanning patterns simulating different lidar technologies—pulsed lidar with one or multiple beams—and continuous‐wave lidars scanning in three different revolving patterns. Based on the results of this study, we assess the influence of the proposed method on the statistical uncertainty in wind turbine extreme and fatigue loads. The main conclusion is that introducing lidar measurements as turbulence constraints in load simulations may bring significant reduction in load and energy production uncertainty, not accounting for any additional uncertainty from real measurements. The constrained turbulence method is most efficient for prediction of energy production and loads governed by the turbulence intensity and the thrust force, while for other load components such as tower base side‐to‐side moment, the achieved reduction in uncertainty is minimal. Several strains of Enterococcus spp. are capable of producing bacteriocins with antimicrobial activity against important bacterial pathogens in dairy products. In this study, the bacteriocins produced by two Enterococcus strains (Enterococcus mundtii CRL35 and Enterococcus faecium ST88Ch), isolated from cheeses, were characterized and tested for their capability to control growth of Listeria monocytogenes 426 in experimentally contaminated fresh Minas cheese during refrigerated storage. Both strains were active against a variety of pathogenic and non-pathogenic microorganisms and bacteriocin absorption to various L. monocytogenes, Enterococcus faecalis ATCC 19443 and Lactobacillus sakei ATCC 15521 varied according to the strain and the testing conditions (pH, temperature, presence of salts and surfactants). Growth of L. monocytogenes 426 was inhibited in cheeses containing E. mundtii CRL35 up to 12 days at 8 °C, evidencing a bacteriostatic effect. E. faecium ST88Ch was less effective, as the bacteriostatic affect occurred only after 6 days at 8 °C. In cheeses containing nisin (12.5 mg/kg), less than one log reduction was observed. This research underlines the potential application of E. mundtii CRL35 in the control of L. monocytogenes in Minas cheese. 相似文献

In an effort to decrease the high cost associated with the design, testing, and production of electrocatalysts, a completely electrochemical scheme has been developed to deposit and platinize a nanoporous Au (NPG) based catalyst for formic acid oxidation. The proposed route enables synthesis of an alternative to the most established, nanoparticles based catalysts and addresses issues of the latter associated with either contamination inherent from the synthetic route or poor adhesion to the supporting electrode. The synthetic protocol includes as a first step, electrochemical codeposition of a Au((1-x))Ag(x) alloy in a thiosulfate based electrolyte followed by selective electrochemical dissolution (dealloying) of Ag as the less noble metal, that generates an ultrathin and preferably continuous porous structure featuring thickness of less than 20 nm. NPG is then functionalized with Pt (no thicker than 1 nm) by surface limited redox replacement (SLRR) of underpotentially deposited Pb layer to form Pt-NPG. SLRR ensures complete coverage of the surface with Pt, believed to spread evenly over the NPG matrix. Testing of the catalyst at a proof-of-concept level demonstrates its high catalytic activity toward formic acid oxidation. Current densities of 40-50 mA cm(-2) and mass activities of 1-3 A.mg(-1) (of combined Pt-Au catalyst) have been observed and the Pt-NPG thin films have lasted over 2600 cycles in standard formic acid oxidation testing. 相似文献

W-modified HMS and SBA-15 mesoporous materials (Si/W molar ratio equal to 40) were synthesized using sodium tungstate as tungsten
source. In order to prepare NiW catalysts these mesoporous materials were impregnated with an aqueous solution of nickel salt
of 12-tungstophosphoric acid Ni3/2PW12O40. The synthesized W-HMS, W-SBA-15 materials and NiW catalysts have been characterized by SBET, XRD, UV–Vis DRS, FT-IR, TPD of NH3, 29Si MAS NMR, SEM and HRTEM. The influence of these particular supports on catalytic activity of NiW catalysts was studied in
the reaction of hydrodesulfurization (HDS) of thiophene. The results from the FT-IR and UV–Vis DR spectroscopy confirm incorporation
of W into the HMS and SBA-15 structures. Additionally 29Si MAS NMR measurements revealed relatively stronger effect of W ion incorporation in HMS structure on degree of silica cross-linking
as compared to the effect of W ion incorporation in SBA-15 structure. The catalytic study showed that both W-HMS and W-SBA-15
materials modified with W are good supports for NiW catalysts in the HDS reaction of thiophene. The catalysts show lower selectivity

This work is concerned with preparation and characterization of nano-structured composite electrocatalytic material for hydrogen evolution based on CoPt hyper d-metallic phase and anatase (TiO2) hypo d-phase, both deposited on multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) as a carbon substrate. The main goal is partially or completely to replace Pt as the electrocatalytic material. Four electrocatalytic systems were prepared with common composition 10% Me + 18% TiO2 + MWCNTs, where Me = Co, CoPt (4:1, wt. ratio), CoPt (1:1, wt. ratio) and Pt. The structural changes and their influence on electrocatalytic activity were studied by means of XRD, TEM, SEM and FTIR. The electrocatalytic activity was assessed in aqueous alkaline and polymer acidic electrolytes by means of steady-state galvanostatic method. It was found that Co strongly affects the platinum particle size. The addition of Co reduces platinum particle's size from 11 nm (in pure Pt metallic system) to 4 nm (in both systems 4:1 and 1:1), i.e. almost by 3 times. The corresponding increase of the surface area and the number of the active catalytic centres improves the efficiency, despite the fact that the amount of used platinum was decreased up to 5 times. The catalyst based on CoPt (1:1) performed the best, while the activity of the pure platinum and CoPt (4:1) systems were very close. Generally, the studied electrocatalysts have shown good and stable performances for hydrogen evolution in PEM electrochemical cell. The influence of the hydrogen electrodes under investigation on the water electrolysis efficiency at current density of 0.3 A cm−2 was assessed, using previous data oxygen evolution on IrOx electrode. Related to the performances of commercial Pt (ELAT) electrode, when hydrogen electrodes with the prepared mixed electrocatalysts were used, the water electrolysis efficiency was only 5% lower for CoPt (1:1), nearly 10% lower for CoPt (4:1) and 13% lower in the case of pure Co-based electrocatalyst. 相似文献
