To establish a relationship between perceived sweetness intensity (Y), sucrose concentration (A%) and viscosity of mixed solutions (B poise), mixtures of sucrose solutions in various concentration and sodium carboxymethylcellulose with medium viscosity (CMC–M) in various concentrations were used, resulting in the equation: where "Y"= sucrose concentration of reference solutions. This equation was effective within the ranges of 4% to 16% sucrose and viscosities of from 1 to 100 poises. This equation was applicable to low and high as well as medium viscosity forms of CMC. 相似文献

This paper presents an advanced resonant ultrasound spectroscopy (RUS) method to determine the elastic constants Cij of thin films. Polycrystalline thin films often exhibit elastic anisotropy between the film growth direction and the in‐plane direction, and they macroscopically show five independent elastic constants. Because all of the Cij of a deposited thin film affect the mechanical resonance frequencies of the film/substrate layer specimen, measuring resonance frequencies enables one to determine the Cij of the film with known density, dimensions and the Cij of the substrate. Resonance frequencies have to be measured accurately because of low sensitivity of the Cij of films to them. We achieved this by a piezoelectric tripod. Mode identification has to be made unambiguously. We made this measuring displacement–amplitude distributions on the resonated specimen surface by laser Doppler interferometry. We applied our technique to copper thin film and diamond thin film. They show elastic anisotropy and the Cij smaller than bulk values of Cij. Micromechanics calculations indicate the presence of incohesive bonded regions. 相似文献

Abstract Three programs develpoed to analyze data for liquid-liquid extraction of metal have been applied to the calculation of the stability constants of aqueous cadmium(II)-thiocyanato complexes by using the data for the extraction of tricaprylmethylammonium salt in benzene. Heat transfer from a solid sphere having a Biot number Bi ? 0.1 to a flow medium in a cooling process under pulsating forced convection is experimentally examined. In the experiment, two kinds of pulse modes, which are the type of pulsating forced convection with continuous feed and the feed type mixing forced and natural convection, are considered as a pulse feed technique. Initially, the evaluation method of the Nusselt number Nu is derived in the cooling process and the validity of that method is verified by comparison with the experimental results. With regard to the effect of pulsating feed, it is shown that the pulsating feed conditions have a great influence on the characteristics of the heat transfer. The enhancement of heat transfer under the condition of the forced convection pulsatively fed with continuous feed is recognized, and the characteristics of heat transfer for the pulsating feed including natural convective heat transfer region are aggravated. Besides, it is clear that the decrease in the heat transfer characteristics is dependent on the duration of the natural convective heat transfer. Abstract We made a theoretical analysis for an axial flow of a working liquid of low viscosity without concern for the thermal effects. Variables studied were rotational speed of wiping blades, volumetric flow rate and viscosity. When the viscosity is low, theoretical values are in proper accord with experimental ones. As a result, we can say that the residence time and the effective area for heat transfer are able to be controlled (when the viscosity is low) by selecting the rotational speed. 相似文献

采用混凝-沉淀-过滤-消毒处理工艺处理洗浴排水,在水温10℃时,主要控制指标浊度、COD、BOD5和ABS平均平除率分别为98.1%,95.2%,93.3%和68.2%,出水水质完全满足中水控制指标要求,试验中发现出水浊度与COD和BOD5有着很好的相关性,可以出水浊度监测COD和BOD5指标,使运行管理简便、结果完全可靠。 相似文献
