The structure of SiO2-Al2O3 glasses with up to 60 wt% Al2O3 was investigated using the radial distribution function together with the correlation method based on X-ray scattering intensity data. Radial distribution curves are interpreted on the basis of glass-in-glass separation with the constituents of SiO2-rich and Al2O3-rich glasses. The structure of the Al2O3-rich glass has a short-range ordering similar to the crystal structure of mullite. The calculated S- i (S) curve of this model gives good agreement with the observed one.  相似文献

Minimum fluidization velocity and agglomeration behavior were investigated at high temperature in an 80?×?30?mm two-dimensional quartz fluidized bed and in an 82?mm i.d. circular fluidized bed. Bed materials tested were two sizes of glass beads as well as three sizes of fluidized bed combustor (FBC) ash. The minimum fluidization velocity decreased with increasing bed temperature, whereas the minimum sintering fluidization velocity increased with the bed temperature. The sintering of glass beads belongs to visco plastic sintering, the first type. FBC ash agglomerate has higher amounts of SiO2, Al2O3, Na2O, K2O, and SiO2 than in the original ash, indicating that low melting eutectics were formed and that the liquid phase in a silicate system was formed. The agglomeration of FBC ash belongs to the second type, an excessive quantity of liquid being formed by melting or chemical reaction.  相似文献

The vaporization of the system MgO-Cr2O3 was studied in a vacuum of 10−5 torr (10−3N/m2) at 1500° to 1700°C using the Langmuir and Knudsen methods. It was found that the phases in the system vaporize nearly congruently and the logarithm of the vaporization coefficient, α, of MgCr2O4 increases linearly with increasing reciprocal temperature. Alpha tends to unity at a temperature near the melting point (2525±23°C). The additivity rule can be applied to the Langmuir vaporization rates on the basis of the surface area ratios of the phases in the 2-phase system MgO-Cr2O3. The enthalpies of vaporization of MgCr2O4 were 695.0 and 549.2 kcaVmol for activated and equilibrium processes, respectively.  相似文献

SUMMARY— Changes in extractability of the proteins associated with the fragmentation phenomenon of myofibrils in chicken pectoral muscle were studied. The results indicate that the protein fractions extracted by neutralized water from muscle residue. from which water-soluble proteins have been washed out, increase in post-rigor muscle. The extracts from pre- and post-rigor muscle were fractionated with ammonium sulfate into two fractions: the fraction precipitated by 1.7 M ammonium sulfate (Fr.1) and the supernatant (Fr. 2). Depressing effect on the onset of ATP-induced superprecipitation of trypsin-treated myosin 6 which was initially present in Fr. 2 from pre-rigor muscle decreased to a great extent in that from post-rigor muscle, whereas promotive effect on gelation of F-actin and superprecipitation of the myosin 6 which was little in Fr. 1 from pre-rigor muscle appeared in that from post-rigor muscle. It is proposed that an increasing amount of protein which indicates α-actinin activity is released along with the destruction and final dissolution of the Z-line structure during postmortem storage of chicken pectoral muscle.  相似文献

The thermal conductivities of sintered Al2O3 and UO2 were measured in the ranges 400° to 1700°C and 300° to 2100°C respectively. The conductivity values for Al2O3 agreed with those reported previously at all temperatures investigated. The conductivity of UO, decreased with increasing temperature to a minimum of 0.0050 cal per cm sec °C at about 1400°C, and then increased with increasing temperature to 0.0105 cal per cm sec °C at 2100°C.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of how the self can know the existence of external reality, an environmental whole called proto-reality, in relation to metaphysical properties, deterministic or not, of worlds that the self can know. The self can only construct an outside within itself. Hence, departing from a solipsistic world where no external reality is assumed, the principle-based generation of external reality is articulated from a given perceptual sequence consisting of indubitable, direct percepts. New, external symbols are derived by an algorithmic rule called inverse causality operating on a given perceptual sequence. Three forms of world arise depending on die applied level of operation of the algorithm: part (the self) or whole (the self plus perceived reality). These include a solipsistic world; a semi-deterministic (positivistic) world composed of the self and what the self can directly discriminate; and a deterministic world composed of the self and what the self can discriminate either directly or indirectly.  相似文献

The impact of a significant environmental change, namely, deregulation, on strategic management and performance in the U.S. airline industry is examined. Firm performance is deemed to be affected by a configuration of competitive environment, strategy and structure. Using a new methodology, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), airline performance before and after deregulation is compared. The results support the gestalt proposition that the configurations under regulation differ significantly from those under deregulation. The promising use of DEA in strategic management research is underlined.  相似文献

Antioxidant Effects of Protein-Bound Riboflavin and Free Riboflavin   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
We studied the antioxidant effects of protein-bound riboflavin and free riboflavin using methyl linoleate in a water system in the dark. The protein-bound riboflavin inhibited the formation of hydroperoxides. After exposure to light, the protein lost its antioxidant effect, which suggested that it was not the protein-bound riboflavin but the riboflavin itself that had the antioxidant effect. These results showed that riboflavin inhibited the formation of hydroperoxides, which suggested that it did have an antioxidant effect.  相似文献
