Temperature dependence of sputtering yield is studied through molecular dynamics (MD) simulation that is performed for Ag sputtered by 12.6 keV Ar impacting at normal incidence. The target temperature is considered from 300 to 1235 K. It is found that the target temperature has little effect on the monomer yield because it comes from the energetic collision cascade. On the other hand, the sputtered cluster yield increases with the target temperature. It seems that the sputtered cluster is produced due to the thermal spike near the surface and the thermal spike is strongly influenced by the target temperature. 相似文献

We investigated how pretreatment and high-LET beam irradiation affected the ion-track dissolution rate in poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) films by SEM observations and conductometric analysis in order to develop the preparation methodology of nano-sized ion-track membranes. PVDF thin films irradiated with four types of ion beams were exposed to a 9 mol/dm3 KOH aqueous solution after their storage in air at 120 °C. This heating treatment was found to enhance the etch rate in the latent track, both in the inner core and outer halo regions, without changing that in the bulk, probably due to the formation of parasitic oxidation products facilitating the introduction of the etching agent to improve the etchability. Additionally, the irradiation of heavier higher-LET ions, causing each track to more activated sites (like radicals), was preferable for achieving effective etching. 相似文献

The initial step in bacterial infection is adherence of the bacterium to the target cell surface. Helicobacter pylori exploits the interaction of bacterial adhesin protein HopQ with human epithelial CEACAMs (CEACAM1, 5, and 6) to stably adhere to gastric epithelial cells, which is necessary for delivery of the H. pylori CagA oncoprotein into the epithelial cells via a type IV secretion system. In contrast to human CEACAMs, however, HopQ does not interact with Ceacam1 (mouse CEACAM1) in vitro or in CHO cells ectopically expressing Ceacam1. Since the mouse genome lacks Ceacam5 and Ceacam6, no significant HopQ–Ceacam interaction may occur in mouse gastric epithelial cells. Here, we found that the mouse stomach has a much lower expression level of Ceacam1 than the expression level of CEACAM1 in the human stomach. Consistently, mouse gastric epithelial cells resist CagA delivery by cagA-positive H. pylori, and the delivery is restored by ectopic expression of human CEACAM1 or CEACAM5 in mouse gastric epithelial cells. Thus, despite the fact that mice are routinely used for H. pylori infection studies, a low expression level of Ceacam1 in the mouse stomach together with the loss or greatly reduced interaction of HopQ with Ceacams make the mouse an inappropriate model for studying the role of H. pylori-delivered CagA in gastric pathogenesis, including the development of gastric cancer. 相似文献

Bulk heterojunction solar cells utilizing soluble phthalocyanine derivative, 1,4,8,11,15,18,22,25-octahexylphthalocyanine (C6PcH2) have been investigated. The active layer was fabricated by spin-coating the mixed solution of C6PcH2 and 1-(3-methoxy-carbonyl)-propyl-1-1-phenyl-(6,6)C61 (PCBM). The photovoltaic properties of the solar cell with bulk heterojunction of C6PcH2 and PCBM demonstrated the strong dependence of active layer thickness, and the optimized active layer thickness was clarified to be 120 nm. By inserting MoO3 hole transport buffer layer between the positive electrode and active layer, the FF and energy conversion efficiency were improved to be 0.50 and 3.2%, respectively. The tandem organic thin-film solar cell has also been studied by utilizing active layer materials of C6PcH2 and poly(3-hexylthiophene) and the interlayer of LiF/Al/MoO3 structure, and a high Voc of 1.27 V has been achieved. 相似文献

The pitch of the spiral finned tube influences seriously to the acoustic resonance in the heat exchanger.In this research,the flow characteristics in relating to the aeolian tone from the finned cylinder are studied by the numerical simulation.It is observed that the tonal noise generated from the finned tube at two pitch spaces.The ratio of the fin pitch to the cylinder diameter is changed at 0.11 and 0.27.The tone level increases and the frequency decreases with the pitch shorter.The separation flow from the cylinder generates the span-wise vortices,Karman vortices,and the separation flow from the fin generates the stream-wise vortices.When the fin pitch ratio is small,the stream-wise vortices line up to span-wise and become weak rapidly.Only the Karman vortices are remained and integrate in span.So the Karman vortex became large.This causes the low frequency and the large aeolian tone. 相似文献

Three environmental factors of irradiance, solar spectral distribution and module temperature greatly affect the performances of photovoltaic (PV) modules. If the environmental factors can be estimated by basic meteorological data (BMD) announced by an official organization in various areas, the performances of PV modules can be estimated easily. In this study, a relationship between the environmental factors and the BMD was analyzed. The performances of Si-based (crystalline Si and thin-film Si) PV modules were estimated by the relationship. As a result, errors between the estimation and actual performances in the crystalline Si and thin-film PV modules were within 1.88% and 0.58% in Kusatsu city, Japan (34°58′N, 135°57′E). The effects of module temperature (Tmod) and spectral irradiance distribution on the outdoor performance of amorphous Si (a-Si) photovoltaic (PV) modules were investigated using contour maps. Compared to PV modules based on crystalline Si, such as single-crystalline Si (sc-Si) and multicrystalline Si, a-Si PV modules exhibit complex behavior with seasonal variation. In this study, we statistically analyzed the outdoor performance of a-Si and sc-Si PV modules. The influence of environmental factors on outdoor performance of a-Si PV modules was analyzed for two seasons, spring and autumn, in which the data periods had nearly the same average Tmod and integrated irradiation. Bovine leukemia virus (BLV) is widely prevalent in Japanese dairy farms. To control BLV infections in Japan, segregating or managing cows according to their proviral load (PVL) is a rational strategy. This study was conducted to establish a quantitative procedure for estimating blood PVL per microliter using a statistical model to offer a cost-effective alternative to the conventional quantitative real-time PCR method. In total, 250 Holstein cows infected with BLV were identified from 10 commercial dairy farms. Information on age was collected and blood samples were tested for white blood cell and lymphocyte counts and PVL using PCR. Generalized linear models with quasi-Poisson errors were used to estimate PVL by selecting age, logarithm of lymphocyte count, and their interaction term as explanatory variables. To evaluate the model, blood samples of 92 BLV-infected Holstein cows from 2 other commercial dairy farms were tested, and measured PVL values were compared with estimated PVL values by the model. The logPVL per microliter was modeled by positive associations with log lymphocyte count and age and a negative association with the interaction term. In the evaluation, measured PVL values had a strong correlation with estimated PVL values (Spearman's ρ = 0.87). In conclusion, our model provides a cost-effective and more rapid alternative to the conventional method to facilitate test and segregation or management of BLV-suspected cows. 相似文献

Partial isothermal sections of the Bi-Fe-Ti system at 700 °C and 900 °C were constructed to investigate the reactivity of Fe with Bi-Ti liquid alloy. In the ternary system, three-phase equilibria such as liquid-Fe-Fe2Ti, liquid-Fe2Ti-Bi2FeTi4, and liquid-Bi9Ti8-Bi2FeTi4 were confirmed at both temperatures. The solubility of Fe in liquid Bi at these temperatures is negligibly small. On the other hand, it is notable that the solubility of Fe in liquid Bi containing Ti at 900 °C is much larger and reaches 2.3 mol pct. Then, we measured the electromotive force (emf) between Bi-20 mol pct Ti alloy and pure Ti at 700 °C in equimolar NaCl-KCl where 1 mol pct TiCl2 was added. From the result, the interaction parameter of the liquid phase in the Bi-Ti system and the standard molar Gibbs energies of formation of Bi9Ti8 and Bi2FeTi4 at 700 °C were estimated. 相似文献
