The current–voltage (I–V) characteristics of Polypyrrole(PPy)/p-Si/Al structure have been investigated as a function of temperature. A modified Norde function combined with conventional forward I–V method has been used to extract the junction parameters including the ideality factor, barrier height and series resistance. Norde function has been compared with the Cheung functions and it has been seen that there is a good agreement with both method for the barrier height values. However, the values of series resistance have very different especially towards to the lower temperatures. This is attributed to non-ideal I–V characteristics of the Au/PPy/p-Si/Al structure and non-pure Thermionic emission theory due to the low temperature effects. 相似文献

In this study, the effect of essential oils (thyme and clove) and packaging treatments (vacuum and modified atmosphere) on the storage of hot smoked rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) fillets over a period of 120 days at 4°C was investigated. Fillets were subjected to microbiological (total aerobic mesophilic bacteria, psychrotrophic bacteria, lactic acid bacteria, yeast and mould), chemical analyses (pH, thiobarbituric acid reactive substances and total volatile base nitrogen) and quality testing throughout the storage period. Difference in microbiological and chemical changes between samples was found to be significant (p < 0.05) during storage period. Sensory evaluation showed significant differences between the samples, and V2 and M2 samples were assessed as the most acceptable products by the panellists. In conclusion, essential oils treatment to hot smoking had a positive effect on shelf life of rainbow trout, especially clove oil showed more positive effect when compared with thyme oil. Thermal behavior, structural properties, and phase equilibria of the (100−x)TeO2-xNa2O system were studied in the 5 ≤ x ≤ 50 mol% composition range. Investigation of glass formation behavior in the binary system was realized, and the glass formation range was determined as 7.5 ≤ x ≤ 40 mol%. Differential thermal analysis (DTA) and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy techniques were used for thermal and structural characterization of the glasses. Influence of Na2O content on glass transition temperature (Tg), glass stability (∆T), density (ρ), molar volume (VM), oxygen molar volume (VO), and oxygen packing density (OPD) values of sodium tellurite glasses was evaluated considering the structural transformations in the glass network. For the phase equilibria studies, DTA, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive X-ray (SEM/EDS) techniques were utilized to characterize the heat-treated samples. According to the phase equilibria studies, three eutectic regions were detected in the 0 < x < 50 mol% composition range of the (100−x)TeO2-xNa2O system. A new invariant endothermic reaction was detected for the compositions between 40 ≤ x ≤ 45 mol%. Na2O.8TeO2 (11.11 mol% Na2O) compound that was claimed to exist in the binary system in the literature was found to be the metastable δ-TeO2 phase. 相似文献

Traditional architecture and associated environments created by residential buildings provide an important focus of interest in contemporary Turkey.1 They are generally accepted as physical witnesses of the past to be preserved and studied. Continuity in the traditional characteristics of the social group living in these environments has been observed in many of the extant settlements in Turkey. The reciprocal relationship between the dwelling and its owners, or users, has led to a dual definition of the ‘traditional dwelling unit’: the social unit being the ‘family’, the architectural unit the ‘dwelling’. The existing, modest-scaled, traditional dwellings in Turkey, which constitute the subject of this study, were mostly constructed after the seventeenth century, but more recent buildings exhibiting similar characteristics are also covered by the term ‘traditional’.2 The concept of ‘privacy’ serves as the basis of evaluation in analysing the interrelation of any two units. The interface of two units can be defined as an hierarchy of privacy represented sociologically by the interrelations of person/family/neighbourhood relationships and architecturally through the interrelations of room/dwelling unit/street/neighbourhood.3 This approach will include a brief summary of some previous studies of traditional residential architecture (Fig. 1). 相似文献

In this study, bentonite originating from Turkey (Eski?ehir province) and activated carbon obtained from grapeseed were used as adsorbents for the removal of lead (Pb2+) and copper (Cu2+) ions from aqueous solutions. Experiments were performed in single- and binary-ion systems at constant temperature of 298 K and pH value of 5. In order to describe the adsorption mechanism Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin isotherms were used. The total adsorption capacity values of adsorbents were compared. Platinum electrocatalysts were prepared using PtCl4 as a starting material and 1-decylamine, N,N-dimethyldecylamine, 1-dodecylamine, N,N-dimethyldodecylamine, 1-hexadecylamine, and 1-octadecylamine as surfactants. These surfactants were used for the first time in this synthesis to determine whether the primary and/or tertiary structure and/or chain length of the surfactants, affects the size and/or activity of the catalysts in C1–C3 alcohol electro-oxidation reactions. Electrochemical measurements (cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry) indicated that the highest electrocatalytic performance was observed for the Pt nanocatalysts that were stabilized by N,N-dimethyldecylamine, and this has a tertiary amine structure with a short chain length (R = C10H21). The high performance may be due to the high electrochemical surface area, Pt(0)/Pt(IV) ratio, %Pt utility, and roughness factor (R f). X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy were used to determine the parameters that affect the catalytic activities. 相似文献

Taking advantage of the algorithm developed earlier which makes it possible to calculate rate constants for the parallel-subsequent reactions of the kinetic model for the diisocyanate and diol polyaddition process, a mathematical model was developed for this process which then was subjected to mathematical decomposition. The procedure adopted allowed me to numerically resolve the obtained system of differential equations and to perform the numerical simulation of the polymerization process studied. For the reactions of 2,4-TDI and 1,4-butanediol, the results obtained were compared to experimental concentrations of urethane oligomer fractions found by means of GPC. It was found that the model suggested provides a better fit than does the model claiming dependence of chemical activity of oligomers solely on reactivity specifications for their functional groups. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 相似文献
