Preceramic polymer resins are attractive for the 3D printing of net-shaped ceramic components. Recently various processes have been demonstrated for 3D printing of polymer-derived ceramics (PDCs). Ultimately in these processes, the process outcomes strongly depend on the process parameters. In particular, for PDCs the ceramic density, and ceramic yield are affected by the catalyst concentration and cross-linking duration. Here, we use thermal analysis and FTIR to quantify the interrelation of the process parameters on the process outcome for polysilazanes and demonstrate 3D printing of PDC components based on the best-identified process parameters. The results of this work can be used as guidelines for future additive manufacturing of PDCs.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A deformable gel-packed chromatographic column was used to separate as-synthesized graphite oxide with different sizes. The synthesized gel (56 µm) was deformed by pressure of the fluid flow and the gaps in the gels showed a range of sizes. A suspension of graphene oxide (0.1 g/L, 10 mL) was injected, and graphene oxide in the elution had a size at 0.56 μm and 0.14 μm, whereas in half upper and bottom domain of the gel layer graphene oxide had a size at 33 µm and 2.9 µm, respectively, demonstrating that graphene oxide suspension was separated by size through gel layer.  相似文献

The radiation-induced surface activation (RISA) effect will be applied to the core design in supercritical light water reactor (SCWR) in order to achieve a high performance with excellent economy and safety. The purpose of the present study is to investigate the RISA effect in the candidate fuel cladding materials in SCWR such as PNC1520. The change of weldability due to RISA effect and the related microstructure analysis were performed in oxidized PNC1520 and 304 stainless steel with various oxidization periods. The phases contained in the surface oxide layer of the present specimen were identified as Fe2CrO4, γ-Fe2O3, and Fe2O3. The lifetime of 13.8 days for wettability improving factor was confirmed in the ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. Meanwhile, the long life of 13.8 days and short life of 0.8 days for wettability improving factors were identified in the γ-ray irradiation. Based on the fact that the band gap energies of Fe2CrO4, γ-Fe2O3, and Fe2O3 were, respectively, 2.1, 2.0, and 2.2 eV, and the photo energies of UV and γ-ray irradiation were 4.48 eV and 13.3 MeV, it is therefore clarified that the hydrophilization on the oxide layer is ascribed to the RISA effect.  相似文献

Preparation of hard palm midfractions (PMF) and its use as a cocoa butter equivalent ingredient were studied. Hard PMF is obtained by multistep fractionation of palm oil involving dry fractionation (DF) and/or solvent fractionation (SF), usually using hexane or acetone. From our experience, in acetone, a polar solvent, symmetrical 1,3-disaturated triacylglycerols tend to selectively crystallize more than nonsymmetrical 1,2- or 2,3-disaturated triacylglycerols, making it suitable for obtaining the solid midfraction. Unfortunately, triacylglycerols are very soluble in hexane, and temperatures at least 15 degrees lower than those required for acetone must be used for equivalent crystal yields. On the other hand, DF is a less expensive and safer process. Thus, multistep fractionation combining DF and SF using acetone was developed to achieve sufficient removal of high-melting components, and further enrichment of 1,3-dipalmitoyl-2-oleoylglycerol and the hard PMF was obtained by triple-step fractionation of palm olein or double-step fractionation of soft PMF. Compared to conventional hard PMF, this hard PMF had a steeper melting curve and better snapping and sharp-melting qualities when used in chocolate. Heat resistance of the hard PMF chocolate was similar to the conventional hard PMF chocolate, and its bloom resistance could be improved by adding polyglycerol fatty acid esters.  相似文献

The kinetics of protein adsorption/desorption onto peptide microarrays was studied using real-time surface plasmon resonance (SPR) imaging. S protein binding interactions were examined using an array composed of five different peptides: N terminal and C terminal immobilized wild-type S peptide (S1 and S2), an alternate binding sequence derived by phage display (LB2), an NVOC-protected S peptide, and a FLAG peptide control sequence (F). Kinetic measurements of the S protein-S1 peptide interaction were analyzed to determine a desorption rate constant (k(d)) of 1.1 (+/-0.08) x 10(-2) s(-1), an adsorption rate constant (k(a)) of 1.9 (+/-0.05) x 10(5) M(-1) s(-1), and an equilibrium adsorption constant (K(Ads)) of 1.7 (+/-0.08) x 10(7) M(-1). SPR imaging equilibrium measurements of S protein to S1 peptide were performed to independently confirm the kinetically determined value of K(Ads). Rate constants for the S2 and LB2 peptides on the array were measured as follows: 1.6 (+/-0.04) x 10(5) M(-1) s(-1) (k(a)) and 1.1 (+/-0.07) x 10(-2) s(-1) (k(d)) for S2, 1.2 (+/-0.05) x 10(5) M(-1) s(-1) (k(a)) and 1.1 (+/-0.03) x 10(-2) s(-1) (k(d)) for LB2. In addition to S protein adsorption/desorption, real-time SPR imaging of peptide arrays was applied to study the surface enzymatic activities of the protease factor Xa. Enzymatic cleavage of the substrate peptide (P1) was shown to follow first-order kinetics and proceed at a rate 10 times faster than that of the mutant peptide (P2), with cleavage velocities of 5.6 (+/-0.3) x 10(-4) s(-1) for P1 and 5.7 (+/-0.3) x 10(-5) s(-1) for P2.  相似文献

The optical properties of snowpacks composed of spherical and nonspherical particles artificially prepared in a cold laboratory are investigated by measuring spectral albedos. The measured spectral albedo in the spectral region lambda=0.35-2.5 microm is compared with the theoretically calculated albedo, for which a Monte Carlo radiative transfer model is employed for multiple scattering combined with the Mie theory and the ray-tracing technique for single scattering by snow particles. Since the spherical particles are a little aggregate, the effects of a cluster of the spheres on snow albedo are examined using a generalized multiparticle Mie-solution model [Appl. Opt. 34, 4573 (1995); J. Quant. Spectrosc. Radiat. Transf. 79-80, 1121 (2003)]. The snow albedo of a cluster of the spheres can be represented with that of the singe sphere slightly larger than its component of the cluster in case of small grains. The observed albedos for the spherical snow particles agree with the theoretically calculated ones for the snow grain size measured in the snow pit work. The snow albedos for the nonspherical particles, which were dendrites, are influenced by the branch width and the branch length, based on a comparison of the theoretically calculated albedo by using circular cylindrical snow particles and the observed albedo. The snow albedo in the near-infrared region depends on the branch width only when the branch length is sufficiently greater than the branch width. The comparison between the spherical and nonspherical snow particles indicates that the spectral albedo of the nonspherical particles can be represented by using an equal volume-area ratio sphere.  相似文献

The role of BGP inside an AS is to disseminate the routes learned from external peers to all routers of the AS. A straightforward, but not scalable, solution, is to resort to a full-mesh of iBGP sessions between the routers of the domain. Achieving scalability in the number of iBGP sessions is possible by using Route Reflectors (RR). Relying on a sparse iBGP graph using RRs however has a negative impact on routers’ ability to quickly switch to an alternate route in case of a failure. This stems from the fact that routers do not often know routes towards distinct next-hops, for any given prefix.In this paper, we propose a solution to build sparse iBGP topologies, where each BGP router learns two routes with distinct next-hops (NH) for each prefix. We qualify such iBGP topologies as NH-diverse. We propose to leverage the “best-external” option available on routers. By activating this option, and adding a limited number of iBGP sessions to the existing iBGP topology, we obtain NH-diverse iBGP topologies that scale, both in number of sessions and routing table sizes. We show that NH diversity enables to achieve sub-second switch-over time upon the failure of an ASBR or interdomain link. The scalability of our approach is confirmed by an evaluation on a research and a Service Provider network.  相似文献

Imaging properties of a birefringent lens, in which the fast (or the slow) axis is distributed in the radial direction whereas magnitude of birefringence varies as a quadratic function of the pupil radius, are investigated by calculating a point-spread function. It is found that the point image is analytically described by using the Lommel function as well as the zero-order Bessel function, and a localized intensity null surrounded by bright regions in all directions can be realized at a geometrical focus under certain conditions. The magnitude of birefringence that is tolerable in image formations is also discussed, assuming that the lens is applied to microlithography.  相似文献

Aggregate formation of recombinant Chinese hamster ovary (rCHO) cells capable of producing granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF), using medium lacking cell adhesion materials in a repeated batch culture, was examined together with cell growth, cell viability and G-CSF production. The rCHO culture was conducted in a rotary shaker and the medium was changed every five days. The formation of stable cell aggregates with high reproducibility was observed after the first medium change. The size of the cell aggregates (consisting of several 10s to 40,000 cells) formed during the repeated batch culture ranged from 30 to 600 microm. The cell density of the aggregates reached as high as 2 x 10(6) cells/ml and the viability was maintained at more than 80% for 19 d. Changing the medium to avoid glucose exhaustion effectively maintained the cell density, cell viability and G-CSF productivity at high levels.  相似文献

Infection of Escherichia coli cells by T4 phage at a multiplicity of infection (MOI) of 0.01 caused inhibition of cell lysis for up to 4 h. Such cells grown under aerobic condition were lysed by external stimuli such as cold shock, osmotic shock or addition of toxic substances, e.g., carbonyl cyanide m-chlorophenylhydrazone (CCCP). However, the effects of these external stimuli were reduced by transferring the cells to static incubation, by which dissolved oxygen was consumed by the cells within 10 min. The cells became insensitive to such external stimuli when the culture was deoxygenated with nitrogen gas. Following infection with a lysozyme amber mutant, eL1a, the cell membrane permeability was found to be increased either by cold shock or osmotic shock treatment of cells grown under aerobic conditions, but not in cells transferred to the static incubation. Oxygen limitation was suggested to enhance membrane stability in relation to cell lysis following the cold or osmotic shock treatment.  相似文献
