In the operation of a centrifugal compressor of turbocharger, instability phenomena such as rotating stall and surge are induced at a lower flow rate close to the maximum pressure ratio. In this study, the compressed air at the exit of centrifugal compressor was re-circulated and injected to the impeller inlet by using two injection nozzles in order to suppress the surge phenomenon. The most effective circumferential position was examined to reduce the flow rate at the surge inception. Moreover, the influences of the injection on the fluctuating property of the flow field before and after the surge inception were investigated by examining the frequency of static pressure fluctuation on the wall surface and visualizing the compressor wall surface by oil-film visualization technique. 相似文献

Concentrations of population and business activities result in high energy demand in urban areas. This requires the construction of underground substations. Oil‐free, nonflammable, nonexplosive equipment is recommended for underground substations. For this reason, gas‐insulated transformers have been developed. A diagnostic method for gas‐insulated transformers is thus required. This paper provides an experimental survey of the main components of decomposition gas generated by various faults in gas‐insulated transformers carried out through simplified model tests. The phenomena of overheating and partial discharges are modeled, taking the actual materials related to each fault into account. For example, CO, CO2, and aldehydes are produced by overheating of pressboards and PET films. The amount of gas produced increases with rising temperature. While various gases are produced from a partial discharge, the principal components are SO2 and SOF2. The structure of water associated with poly(2‐methoxyethyl acrylate) (PMEA), which is known to exhibit excellent blood compatibility, has been investigated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The total equilibrium water content (EWC) of PMEA was 9.0 wt%. Water in the PMEA could be classified into three types: non‐freezing, freezing‐bound and free water. Cold crystallization of water was clearly observed at about −42 °C on heating when the water content was more than 3.0 wt%. Cold crystallization is attributed to the phase transition from the amorphous ice to the crystal ice in PMEA. The relative proportions of freezing‐bound water at the EWC is 48 % of all the water in hydrated PMEA. © 2000 Society of Chemical Industry 相似文献

We studied efficacy and safety of sulbactam/cefoperazone (SBT/CPT) in the treatment of biliary tract infections in hospitalized patients at 26 hospitals from February 1993 to March 1995. Secondary to dropout, 273 out of 338 patients entered in the study were evaluated, 127 patients with cholecystitis, 132 patients with cholangitis, and 14 patients with liver abscesses. Of these, 93 patients (34.1% had malignancy as an underlying disease. SBT/CPZ had an efficacy of 79.9% (218 patients; excellent: 52, good: 166), with the efficacy in patients with cholecystitis, cholangitis and liver abscess at 89.0% (113 patients), 77.3% (102 patients and 21.4% (3 patients), respectively. A significant difference (p < 0.05) was observed in the efficacy rates of patients with (59 patients [63.4%]) and without malignancy (159 patients [88.3%]). A total of 84 strains were isolated from bile specimens of 53 patients, and the major isolates were Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterococcus spp. Two or more bacterial strains were isolated simultaneously in 20 patients. Mild or moderate side effect (allergic reaction including rash etc.) were noted in 4 patients (1.18%), and laboratory abnormalities (increased GOT, etc.) were in 16 patients (4.71%) out of the total 338 patients. This study clearly demonstrated that SBT/CPZ retains its excellent clinical efficacy and safety profile, throughout its use over the past decade. 相似文献

A low apsect ratio bounded rectangular jet flow with an artificial disturbance is numerically analyzed by solving three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations with primitive variables. The streakline structures are related to the velocity and pressure fields. To explain the mechanism initiating a secondary flow in the initial field where the flow shows a well ordered structure, the streakline distortions are discussed by the velocity fluctuations in the flow field. In this paper, we consider controllability of discrete-time polynomial systems. First, we present a forward accessibility (local reachability) condition that can be verified in finite time, in contrast to conventional conditions. Second, we give a backward accessibility (local controllability) condition for an invertible system and a condition to verify invertibility. Styrene-co-chloromethyl styrene copolymers chemically modified with various kinds of monoamines or diamines were synthesized. Their sensing properties based on toluene vapor sorption/desorption behaviors were measured using a quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) technique. Introduction of aliphatic diamine compounds having a proper chain length (e.g., N,N-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine (DMPDA)) into the structure of the copolymer realized improvements to the toluene vapor sorption capacity, the response time, and reversibility compared to the conventional polymer coatings. FTIR analysis suggests the formation of a loosely cross-linked structure, resulting in the promotion of toluene vapor diffusion into the film. 相似文献

A simple and rapid screening method using bioassay for the simultaneous analysis of antibacterials (penicillins, cephalosporins, macrolides, tetracyclines, quinolones, etc.) in meat has been developed. A 5 g sample was homogenized with 5 mL of methanol, and the homogenate was centrifuged for 10 min with 3,000 rpm. The pulp disk method with Bacillus subtilis BGA (Antibiotic Medium 5 (pH 8) and 8 (pH 6)), Micrococcus luteus ATCC 9341 and Geobacillus stearothermophilus as test organisms was employed for the assay of the antibacterials. Typical antibacterials (penicillin G, ampicillin, cefapirin, cefalexin, erythromycin, spiramycin, oxytetracycline, chlortetracycline, streptomycin, dihydrostreptomycin, enrofloxacin and oxolinic acid) were detected at levels of ca. 0.005-2.5 microg/g in meat. Therefore, we recommend this proposed screening method for routine analysis of residual antibacterials in livestock products. 相似文献

Claudin-2 (CLDN2), a component of tight junction, is involved in the reduction of anticancer drug-induced toxicity in spheroids of A549 cells derived from human lung adenocarcinoma. Fisetin, a dietary flavonoid, inhibits cancer cell growth, but its effect on chemosensitivity in spheroids is unknown. Here, we found that fisetin (20 μM) decreases the protein level of CLDN2 to 22.3%. Therefore, the expression mechanisms were investigated by real-time polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting. Spheroids were formed in round-bottom plates, and anticancer drug-induced toxicity was measured by ATP content. Fisetin decreased the phosphorylated-Akt level, and CLDN2 expression was decreased by a phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) inhibitor, suggesting the inhibition of PI3K/Akt signal is involved in the reduction of CLDN2 expression. Hypoxia level, one of the hallmarks of tumor microenvironment, was reduced by fisetin. Although fisetin did not change hypoxia inducible factor-1α level, it decreased the protein level of nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2, a stress response factor, by 25.4% in the spheroids. The toxicity of doxorubicin (20 μM) was enhanced by fisetin from 62.8% to 40.9%, which was rescued by CLDN2 overexpression (51.7%). These results suggest that fisetin can enhance anticancer drug toxicity in A549 spheroids mediated by the reduction of CLDN2 expression. 相似文献

Orientation effect on AlGaN/GaN heterojunction field-effect transistors (HFETs) has been experimentally and theoretically examined in detail. The drain-currents of the fabricated AlGaN/GaN HFETs with various gate directions do not depend on the gate orientation, whereas those of GaAs-based HFETs strongly depend on the gate direction due to the piezoelectric charges induced around the gate electrode. The piezoelectric charges induced in the vicinity of the gate electrode are simulated by using a finite-element method. This simulation solves the piezoelectric equations with piezoelectric and elastic stiffness constants, assuming that stress is applied to the gate edges in the HFET. The detailed simulation reveals that the piezoelectric charge distribution does not depend on the gate direction, although a large amount of piezoelectric charges is induced in the vicinity of the gate edges, which is consistent with the experimental result. Moreover, it is mathematically clarified that these experimental and simulated results are due to the symmetry characteristic of the piezoelectric and elastic stiffness constants for nitride semiconductor materials. 相似文献
