The stability and activity of electrocatalysts are fundamental in energy-related applications (e.g., hydrogen generation and energy storage). Electrocatalysts degrade over time when the active centers are not strongly anchored to the support. However, if the active centers are too strongly anchored, the activity of the electrocatalysts decreases due to reduced accessibility to reactants. Herein, a strategy is presented to balance the stability and activity of different active materials using a natural and flexible support material that can be woven and carbonized. Lotus fibers, which have surface hydroxyl and phenolic groups, high mechanical strength, and a mesoscale porosity post-pyrolysis, are used to load diverse functional metal-containing materials such as metal–organic frameworks, 2D materials, metal sulfide nanoparticles, metal ions, and high-entropy alloys. After pyrolysis, the electrocatalysts display flexibility, high catalytic performance, and long-term stability, outperforming commercial benchmarks (e.g., Pt/C) in specific scenarios for water splitting, liquid batteries, and flexible electronics. 相似文献

Mechanical antennas based on piezoelectric materials can effectively reduce the size of long wave antennas down to 1/1000 of the wavelength (from km scale to mm level). However, the narrow bandwidth and weak field intensity seriously restrict its practical applications in transmission distance and channel capacity. Here, a mechanical antenna-based electrostrictive effect of relaxor ferroelectric ceramic (PMN-PT) is proposed to improve radiation capacity and achieve ultra-wideband characteristics (10 kHz–1 MHz). Due to the ultra-high dielectric constant at working temperature and the relationship between the strain and applied field intensity, the proposed antenna gets rid of the dependence on the poled materials and exhibits excellent communication properties beyond traditional mechanical antennas, which are experimentally demonstrated by a practical wireless communication system. Only using a single proposed mechanical antenna with 8 mm diameter and 3 mm thickness, the effective communication with a transmission distance of 200 m can be realized. Motivated by the rising cost of tin‐doped indium oxide (ITO), the search for new transparent electrode materials to replace ITO is ongoing. TiN exhibits high electric conductivity, however, it is generally non‐transparent. Here, nanostructured TiN fiber patterns are synthesized on quartz glass and the resulting materials have a combination of high electric conductivity and optical transparency. A low sheet resistance of 15.8 Ohm sq?1 at 84% transparency is achieved on TiN nanofiber arrayed quartz glass. The achievements show a successful integration of electric and optical properties in ceramic nanofibers and provide a method for finding new materials to replace traditional ITO‐based transparent electrodes. 相似文献

A novel robust sliding mode control method for time-delay systems with mismatched uncertainties is presented, taking into consideration of both the norm-bounded mismatched uncertainties in the input matrix and the unknown input disturbance. First of all, an original time-delay system is changed into a new form without time delay via a nonsingular transformation, based on which, an integral sliding mode controller is then designed in the form of linear matrix inequalities, to guarantee the existence of the sliding motion from the initial time. In order to estimate the upper bound of unknown input disturbance, a new adaptive law is also proposed.
