Summary Poly(phenylacetylene)s bearing dialkylamino groups were prepared by the polymerization of p-(N,N-dialkylamino)phenylacetylenes with [Rh(nbd)Cl]2, and their electrochemical behavior was examined. Rh-catalyzed polymerization of p-(N,N-diethylamino)phenylacetylene (DEAPA) and p-(N,N-di-n-butylamino)phenylacetylene (DBAPA) in toluene in the presence of triethylamine gave good yields of the polymers (86 and 90%, respectively). Poly(DEAPA) was soluble in chloroform and dichloromethane, and poly(DBAPA) dissolved in various solvents such as toluene, THF, dichloromethane and chloroform. Poly(DEAPA) and poly(DBAPA) showed onset temperatures at 248 and 190°C, respectively, and absorptions around 300–400 nm. Electrochemical doping of the polymer films resulted in the shift of the absorptions to a region around 680 nm, which accompanied a color change of the polymer films from green ocher to deep blue. Ferrites—ceramic ferromagnetic materials—have been considered as highly important electronic materials for more than half a century. During this time, the characteristics of commercial ferrite materials, both soft and hard ferrites, have come to approach theoretical values. The quality of commercial ferrites has been improved through accumulated scientific knowledge and advanced technology. This article provides a comprehensive survey of the historical development of the science and technology of ferrite materials as well as applications of the ferrites. The article also offers a forecast of the future of ferrites in terms of their chemistry.  相似文献

Functionally graded materials (FGMs) belong to a relatively new class of inhomogeneous composite materials, in which the composition and/or microstructure undergo a gradual change along some directions. In this review article, the microstructures and composition gradients in Al/SiC, Al/Shirasu (volcanic eruptions commonly found in south Kyushu in Japan), Al/Al3Ti, Al/Al3Ni, Al/Al2Cu FGMs have been investigated. The Al/SiC, Al/Shirasu and Al/Al3Ti FGMs are fabricated by the centrifugal solid particle method where the distribution particles of SiC, Shirasu and Al3Ti are solids in the melts. On the other hand, Al/Al3Ni and Al/Al2Cu FGMs are fabricated by the centrifugalin-situ method where Al/Al3Ni and Al/Al2Cu systems have lower liquidus temperatures than the processing temperatures. The feature of Al/(Al3Ti−Al3Ni) hydrid FGM, which is fabricated by a method combining both the centrifugal solid-particle andin-situ methods, is also shown.  相似文献

Strontium titanate (STO) films were directly deposited on Ib (100) single crystal diamond by r.f. magnetron sputtering. The as-deposited STO film was in amorphous state. On the other hand, the crystalline STO film was obtained under the optimized condition of a deposition temperature of 250 °C and a post-annealing temperature of 650 °C. STO/diamond junctions were fabricated on boron-doped homoepitaxial layers grown on p+-type single crystal diamond substrates. Electrical properties of the STO/diamond junction were investigated by changing the surface terminations of diamond with hydrogen or oxygen and the crystallinity of the STO film. It was found that the amorphous STO acted like a semi-insulator on H-diamond surface and that the amorphous STO/O-diamond junction behaved like a Schottky diode. The crystalline STO/O-diamond showed a complex rectifying behavior. The crystalline STO film possessed a higher dielectric constant as compared to that of the amorphous one.  相似文献

Background: Within the claudin (CLDN) family, CLDN12 mRNA expression is altered in various types of cancer, but its clinicopathological relevance has yet to be established due to the absence of specific antibodies (Abs) with broad applications. Methods: We generated a monoclonal Ab (mAb) against human/mouse CLDN12 and verified its specificity. By performing immunohistochemical staining and semiquantification, we evaluated the relationship between CLDN12 expression and clinicopathological parameters in tissues from 138 cases of cervical cancer. Results: Western blot and immunohistochemical analyses revealed that the established mAb selectively recognized the CLDN12 protein. Twenty six of the 138 cases (18.8%) showed low CLDN12 expression, and the disease-specific survival (DSS) and recurrence-free survival rates were significantly decreased compared with those in the high CLDN12 expression group. We also demonstrated, via univariable and multivariable analyses, that the low CLDN12 expression represents a significant prognostic factor for the DSS of cervical cancer patients (HR 3.412, p = 0.002 and HR 2.615, p = 0.029, respectively). Conclusions: It can be concluded that a reduced CLDN12 expression predicts a poor outcome for cervical cancer. The novel anti-CLDN12 mAb could be a valuable tool to evaluate the biological relevance of the CLDN12 expression in diverse cancer types and other diseases.  相似文献

The local structure of trace amounts of lead in an adsorbent matrix that contains a high concentration of iron and magnesium (Mg6Fe2(OH)16(CO3) x 3H2O) was successfully monitored by means of X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy combined with fluorescence spectrometry. A eutectic mixture of PbCO3 and Pb(OH)2 coagulated when Pb2+ was adsorbed from a 1.0 ppm aqueous solution, and in contrast, the major species was ion-exchanged Pb2+ in the case of adsorption from a 100 ppb aqueous solution. The difference was ascribed to the balance between the precipitation equilibrium for coagulation and the rate of the ion exchange reaction with surface hydroxyl groups.  相似文献

Prostacyclin (PGI2) is known to have a relaxative action on vascular smooth muscle, an inhibitory action against platelet activation and neutrophil function. Previous studies showed the preventive effects of PGI2 on lupus nephritis and Thy-1 nephritis, although the mechanism has not been clarified. Glomerular endothelial expression of intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) is up-regulated in experimental and human glomerular diseases, and is known to facilitate leukocyte infiltration into the glomeruli, which ultimately induces the various glomerular injuries. In the present study, we evaluated the therapeutic effects of PGI2 on a rat model for crescentic glomerulonephritis and investigated its putative mechanism in relation to ICAM-1-mediated leukocyte recruitment. Wistar-Kyoto (WKY) rats were injected with nephrotoxic serum and received continuous intraperitoneal infusion of PGI2. PGI2 dramatically decreased proteinuria (123.0 +/- 18.8 vs. 31.6 +/- 4.5), crescent formation and deposition of fibrinogen in the glomeruli, while the deposition of rabbit IgG, rat IgG and rat C3 along the capillary walls was not changed. Furthermore, intraglomerular expression of ICAM-1 and infiltration of macrophages were significantly suppressed by administration with PGI2. In contrast, influx of CD4 or CD8 positive cells was not altered. The present results suggest that PGI2 shows the preventive effects on experimental crescentic glomerulonephritis by inhibiting intraglomerular coagulation and ICAM-1-mediated macrophage-glomerular endothelial cell adhesive pathway.  相似文献

We attempted to assess whether pannus volume measured by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be used as an indicator of disease activity in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Eleven women (mean age 46 yr) with uncontrolled RA were studied for 1 yr. Pannus formation in both hands was quantified using MRI at the start of the study, and at 6 and 12 months thereafter. The volume of enhancing pannus (VEP) was compared with changes in the radiological scores, grip strength, joint tenderness counts, joint swelling counts, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), and serum C-reactive protein (CRP). Patients were classified into three groups based on VEP changes between 0 and 12 months: unchanged (n = 2), decreased (n = 6) and increased (n = 3). VEP at 6 months and at 12 months differed significantly between the three groups. No statistically significant differences were found between the groups in radiographic scores, physical parameters or laboratory parameters despite the fact that some of these parameters changed in the direction indicated by the changes in VEP. VEP can be used as a new indicator to assess disease activity in individual RA patients and, using this parameter, treatment outcome can be assessed in fewer subjects than with traditional measures.  相似文献

Potentiometric pH-stat titration was performed on alkylated carbon black dispersed in aqueous solution at pH 9.0, 10.0 and 11.0 and alkaline hydrolysis rate constant of the alkylated functional groups on the carbon black was obtained therefrom. Carbon black treated with C1-C8n-alcohols in vapor or liquid phase was used in this experiment. Hydrolysis proceeded more rapidly for carbon black treated with lower alcohols. For each alkylated carbon black, the hydrolysis rate constant decreased with time and, after the hydrolysis rate diminished, a hydrolysis resistant fraction of alkylated groups remained. For example, the hydrolysis rate constants at 25°C were 24.33, 17.50 and 4.501 · mol?1 · sec?1 at 15 min and 6.00, 6.00 and 3.671 · mol?1 · sec?1 at 45 min after the start of hydrolysis at pH 9.0 for carbon black treated with C2, C3 and C4 alcohols respectively.  相似文献
