A bulk layer of aluminum nitride (AlN) polycrystals was synthesized on a boron nitride crucible surface by heating Al chunks with 5 mol% of bismuth at 1273 K for 3 h under NH3 gas flow. The fragments of the layer were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. The platelet grains of AlN with a size of 0.1–1.0 μm and having preferred orientation of the c -axis perpendicular to the layer were formed at the crucible side. Nitrogen-doped ultrananocrystalline diamond (UNCD)/hydrogenated amorphous carbon (a-C:H) films were deposited by pulsed laser deposition (PLD). Nitrogen contents in the films were controlled by varying a ratio in the inflow amount between nitrogen and hydrogen gases. The film doped with a nitrogen content of 7.9 at.% possessed n-type conduction with an electrical conductivity of 18 Ω? 1 cm? 1 at 300 K. X-ray photoemission spectra, which were measured using synchrotron radiation, were decomposed into four component spectra due to sp2, sp3 hybridized carbons, C=N and C–N. A full-width at half-maximum of the sp3 peak was 0.91 eV. This small value is specific to UNCD/a-C:H films. The sp2/(sp3 + sp2) value was enhanced from 32 to 40% with an increase in the nitrogen content from 0 to 7.9 at.%. This increment probably originates from the nitrogen incorporation into an a-C:H matrix and grain boundaries of UNCD crystallites. Since an electrical conductivity of a-C:H does not dramatically enhance for this doping amount according to previous reports, we believe that the electrical conductivity enhancement is predominantly due to the nitrogen incorporation into grain boundaries. 相似文献

Discrete features observed in the energy distribution of electrons emitted from ion-bombarded sodium halide surfaces can be attributed to a new type of collisional deexcitation mechanism. Such a mechanism involves sodium atoms in bombardment-excited autoionizing states that are the result of cascade collisions within the crystal lattice. This deexcitation process, in contrast to that for a metal, is not simply a consequence of the inner-shell lifetime of the initial collisionally excited sodium Na+* ion. Rather, the deexcitation consists of a sequence of lattice collisions during which the excited Na+* ion captures an electron to form the inner-shell-excited Na0* states responsible for the observed transitions. The formation of such autoionizing Na0* states is described within the framework of a new model in which excitation processes and localized collisional electron-transfer mechanisms are taken into account. These localized electron-transfer processes make possible new channels for electronic deexcitation, chemical dissociation, and defect production; they are critical for understanding inelastic ion-surface collisions in solids. 相似文献

Perioperative hemorrhage in patients undergoing surgery is a major cause of morbidity and mortality. DRIHEMATO SYSTEM COAG-1 can detect prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) and fibrinogen (FIB) easily. We combined this monitor with platelet count (PLT), activated clotting time (ACT) and thromboelastography (TEG) and devised a hematologic monitoring system for bedside use. This study of 10 adults undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass was conducted to determine the utility of this monitoring system. The specificity for lotting abnormality of this monitoring system included the following values; PT = 88%, FIB = 100% and TEG = 67%. This study suggests that this monitoring system may be useful in early diagnosis and treatment of postoperative coagulopathy. 相似文献
