Fast and accurate analysis of one‐dimensional arrays of dynamic PWL cells

This paper describes a new method for the time‐domain analysis of one‐dimensional arrays of dynamic piecewise linear cells. The method exploits the local connectivity, typical of cellular arrays, and the piecewise linear behaviour of the v–i characteristic of the non‐linear elements to obtain a piecewise analytical expression of the solution. Examples demonstrate the accuracy and the efficiency, in terms of CPU‐time, of the proposed method with respect to standard simulation tools as SPICE and the numerical integration of a system of ordinary differential equations. 基于熵权法对幸福感的模糊综合评价

基于扎根理论对幸福感影响因素的编码过程,对19个调查项目进行整理和逐级编码,并用熵权法确定三级指标的权重,运用模糊综合评价方法构建了幸福等级模糊综合评价模型,最后得到被调查网民幸福指数的量化评估为3.255 7(满分5分),说明所调查网民是比较幸福的。

基于亮度序的均值标准差描述子

在已有均值标准差曲线描述子(MSCD)的基础上,引入亮度序划分思想,提出一种基于亮度序的均值标准差描述子(IOMSD).与传统描述子构造时采用固定位置进行子区域划分不同,文中依据局部区域内各像素点的亮度大小关系划分子区域.该方法能克服图像形变带来的边界误差,且对线性光照和单调光照变化具有不变性.实验结果表明,IOMSD对旋转、视角变化及光照变化图像具有鲁棒性,尤其在形变稳定性上优于已有的MSCD算法.     

Equation reordering for iterative processes — a comment

The ordering of the equations for a nonlinear model plays an important role in the performance of solution algorithms using iterative processes. The paper comments on what is often referred to be an optimal ordering.     

Phospholipid and fatty acid compositions ofRhizobium leguminosarum biovartrifolii ANU843 in relation to flavone-activated pSymnod gene expression

The phospholipid and associated fatty acid compositions of the bacterial symbiont of clover,Rhizobium leguminosarum biovartrifolii wild-type ANU843, was analyzed by two-dimensional silica thin-layer chromatography, fast atom bombardment-mass spectrometry, flame-ionization detection gas-liquid chromatography and combined gas-liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry. The phospholipid composition included phosphatidylethanolamine (15%),N-methylphosphatidylethanolamine (47%),N,N-dimethylphosphatidylethanolamine (9%), phosphatidylglycerol (19%), cardiolipin (5%) and phosphatidylcholine (2%). Fatty acid composition included predominantlycis-11-octadecenoic acid, lower leves ofcis-9-hexadecenoic acid, hexadecanoic acid, 11-methyl-11-octadecenoic acid, octadecanoic acid, 11,12-methyleneoctadecanoic acid, eicosanoic acid and traces of branched, and di- and triunsaturated fatty acids. The influence of expression of the “nodulation” genes encoding symbiotic functions on the composition of these membrane lipids was examined in wild-type cells grown with or without the flavone inducer, 4′,7-dihydroxyflavone and in mutated cells lacking the entire symbiotic plasmid where these genes reside, or containing single transposon insertions in selected nodulation genes. No significant changes in phospholipid or associated fatty acid compositions were detected by the above methods of analysis.     

Spectral theory of a semi-infinite transmission line over a groundplane

The electromagnetic modeling of wave propagation along a semi-infinite wire with ground return is addressed. External excitation, via plane wave is considered. Both wire and ground plane are assumed to be perfect conductors. Through a spectral approach, a one-port Thevenin model of the structure, valid for any distance between wire and ground, is developed. Such a model allows to evaluate rigorously the limits and the accuracy of the transmission line (TL) equations     

The role of coloscopy in the differential diagnosis between idiopathic ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease of the colon

The authors point out the striking significance of coloscopy in establishing a correct diagnosis of inflammatory diseases of the colon. In particular, the most valuable endoscopic features are indicated which may permit distinguishing between idiopathic ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease of the colon. Differentiation between these two diseases cannot always be achieved by means of available diagnostic procedures other than coloscopy. Moreover, the endoscopic findings enable an assessment to be made of the extent, stage, severity and course of either disease. The authors' experience encompass 2,478 coloscopy examinations: the observed cases of idiopathic ulcerative colitis are 182, those of Crohn's disease of the colon are 104.

基于图像梯度提出一种图像特征,称为Harris相关.应用Harris相关特征,构造图像特征描述子,包括特征点描述子、直线描述子和曲线描述子.这些描述子的构造较简单,对图像旋转与图像亮度的线性变化具有不变性.直线与曲线描述子的构造方法为直线和曲线的匹配提供一种思路.实验表明,应用Harris相关构造的特征点描述子对图像变化表现出较好性能,直线与曲线描述子在实际图像中取得较好的匹配结果.     

均值-标准差描述子与直线匹配

提出一种通过直线描述子来进行自动直线匹配的思想.直线描述子的建立分为以下3个主要步骤:首先为直线定义平行邻域并将该邻域分解为一系列平行线,其次通过选择图像特征建立直线描述矩阵,最后通过计算描述矩阵列向量的均值和标准差获得直线描述子.基于不同的图像特征(灰度、梯度和梯度幅值),提出3个具有平移、旋转和线性光照不变性的直线描述子.实验结果表明本文提出的直线描述子具有较好的匹配性能.
