In dynamics of evaporation or drying of microdrops from a solid surface, a faster and precise quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) is needed. The fast QCM based on frequency to voltage converter is an attractive and powerful tool in the investigation of the dynamic regime of evaporation to translate the frequency shift in terms of a continuous voltage change. The frequency shift monitoring in fast QCM applications is a real challenge for electronic processing interface. Originally developed as a frequency shift processing interface, this novel passive frequency to voltage converter can produce faster, stable, and accurate results in regard to the QCM sensor behavior. In this article, the concept and circuit of passive frequency to voltage converter will be explained followed by static and dynamic characterization. Proximal splitting algorithms for monotone inclusions (and convex optimization problems) in Hilbert spaces share the common feature to guarantee for the generated sequences in general weak convergence to a solution. In order to achieve strong convergence, one usually needs to impose more restrictive properties for the involved operators, like strong monotonicity (respectively, strong convexity for optimization problems). In this paper, we propose a modified Krasnosel'ski?–Mann algorithm in connection with the determination of a fixed point of a nonexpansive mapping and show strong convergence of the iteratively generated sequence to the minimal norm solution of the problem. Relying on this, we derive a forward–backward and a Douglas–Rachford algorithm, both endowed with Tikhonov regularization terms, which generate iterates that strongly converge to the minimal norm solution of the set of zeros of the sum of two maximally monotone operators. Furthermore, we formulate strong convergent primal–dual algorithms of forward–backward and Douglas–Rachford-type for highly structured monotone inclusion problems involving parallel-sums and compositions with linear operators. The resulting iterative schemes are particularized to the solving of convex minimization problems. The theoretical results are illustrated by numerical experiments on the split feasibility problem in infinite dimensional spaces. 相似文献

Inter-enterprise architecture (IEA) is a new concept that seeks to apply the tools and methodologies of enterprise architecture (EA) in a collaborative context, in order to model collaborative organizations in an inclusive manner. According to the main enterprise architectures proposed to this point, an EA should be conformed at least for a framework, a methodology and a modelling language. Sensing enterprise (SE) is an attribute of an enterprise or a network that allows it to react to business stimuli originating on the Internet. These fields have come into focus recently, and there is not evidence of the use of IEA for modelling a SE, while finding an interesting gap to work on. Thus, this paper proposes an initial framework for inter sensing enterprise architecture (FISEA), which seeks to classify, organize, store and communicate, at the conceptual level, all the elements for inter-sensing enterprise architectures and their relationships, ensuring their consistency and integrity. In this paper we investigate the convergence behavior of a primal-dual splitting method for solving monotone inclusions involving mixtures of composite, Lipschitzian and parallel sum type operators proposed by Combettes and Pesquet (in Set-Valued Var. Anal. 20(2):307–330, 2012). Firstly, in the particular case of convex minimization problems, we derive convergence rates for the partial primal-dual gap function associated to a primal-dual pair of optimization problems by making use of conjugate duality techniques. Secondly, we propose for the general monotone inclusion problem two new schemes which accelerate the sequences of primal and/or dual iterates, provided strong monotonicity assumptions for some of the involved operators are fulfilled. The fiber characteristics (i.e., the fiber type, morphology, and dimension) and polymer melt flow index (MFI) significantly affected mechanical properties of sugarcane fiber/HDPE composites. The length and diameter of sugarcane fibers followed a lognormal distribution before and after compounding. The long fibers had a significant reduction in the dimension and aspect ratio during compounding. However, the short fibers had close values in these two properties before and after compounding. For the resultant sugarcane fiber/polymer composites, the HDPE resins with a low MFI value presented high tensile and impact strengths. Because of high sugar content, the pure rind fiber had a poor performance as filler in the HDPE resins with respect to the raw bagasse fiber and alkali‐extracted bagasse fiber. On the other hand, the aspect ratio was proportional to the mechanical performance of the fibers in the HDPE resins. As a result, the fibers with a large aspect ratio and low sucrose content improved the strength properties of the resultant composites. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Burnishing is a chipless finishing method, which employs a rolling tool, pressed against the workpiece, in order to achieve plastic deformation of the surface layer. Recent developments made possible burnishing of heat-treated steel components up to 65 HRC. Features of burnishing include a good roughness (comparable to grinding), as well as improvement of mechanical characteristics of the surface (fatigue strength, corrosion resistance, and bearing ratio), due to implementation of compressive stresses into the surface layer. The control of thermal stresses in the core–shell structures is an important task in order to understand their temperature dependent magnetization processes. This paper is dedicated to a theoretical and micromagnetic study of the thermal stresses on the hysteretic processes in core–shell nanoparticles. The analytical model can predict the thermal and elastic behavior of the core–shell nanoparticle supposed to a forced cooling process. The temperature and thermal stresses values obtained by direct computation from the analytical model were used to evaluate the magneto-elastic energy of the core–shell system. A micromagnetic model was used to compute the equilibrium positions of the particle magnetization as function of the applied field. The model allows an evaluation of the increase of the particle coercive field and of the blocking temperature as an effect of the thermal stress. 相似文献

In this paper, the unsteady heat transfer over an impulsively started wedge is investigated. The mixed convection, namely, the thermal boundary-layer growth is caused by the sudden increase of the surface temperature as it is set into motion. The analytic approximations with high accuracy are given using the Homotopy–Padé technique, which agree well with the numerical results using an implicit finite-difference method known as Keller–Box method. It is found that the Homotopy–Padé approximations have no relation to the auxiliary parameters ?f and ?g, which play important roles in the homotopy analysis method. 相似文献

Polydiphenylamine/single walled carbon nanotube (PDPA/SWNT) composites were synthesized electrochemically aiming at their application as active electrode materials for rechargeable lithium batteries. The electrochemical polymerization of diphenylamine (DPA) on a SWNT film immersed in a 1 M HCl solution was studied by cyclic voltammetry. Comparing cyclic voltammograms recorded on a blank Pt electrode with those obtained for a SWNT film deposited on Pt electrode one observes in the latter case a decrease of the DPA reduction potential. To elucidate electrochemical polymerization mechanism, photoluminescence studies on DPA/SWNT and PDPA/SWNT systems were carried out. Additional information concerning the functionalization process of SWNT with PDPA was obtained by Raman and IR spectroscopy. Using the PDPA/SWNT composite as active material for the positive electrode of a rechargeable lithium cell (LiPF6 electrolyte), the charge-discharge tests show a specific discharge capacity of ca. 245 mA h g−1, much higher than the 35 mA h g−1 for pure PDPA. 相似文献
