In condition-based maintenance (CBM) planning, collected information from system condition monitoring is the basis of making decision about conducting the maintenance and repair activities. Recently, ample number of studies has been conducted in CBM field especially, in control-limit policy. In control-limit policy, using proportional Hazards model and results of monitoring system condition, one can estimate hazard rate function and its condition’s transition probability matrix. Then, considering replacement costs, optimal control-limit can be determined minimizing the average cost in the long run. The presented model considers repair policy and their implementation cost, and the assumptions of repair during interval inspection is ignored. Then, a model is presented to determine the optimal control-limit and the best repair policy, in which the average total cost per unit time in the long-run, is minimized. At the end, a numerical example is illustrated.  相似文献

Grid is a distributed high performance computing paradigm that offers various types of resources (like computing, storage, communication) to resource-intensive user tasks. These tasks are scheduled to allocate available Grid resources efficiently to achieve high system throughput and to satisfy user requirements. The task scheduling problem has become more complex with the ever increasing size of Grid systems. Even though selecting an efficient resource allocation strategy for a particular task helps in obtaining a desired level of service, researchers still face difficulties in choosing a suitable technique from a plethora of existing methods in literature. In this paper, we explore and discuss existing resource allocation mechanisms for resource allocation problems employed in Grid systems. The work comprehensively surveys Gird resource allocation mechanisms for different architectures (centralized, distributed, static or dynamic). The paper also compares these resource allocation mechanisms based on their common features such as time complexity, searching mechanism, allocation strategy, optimality, operational environment and objective function they adopt for solving computing- and data-intensive applications. The comprehensive analysis of cutting-edge research in the Grid domain presented in this work provides readers with an understanding of essential concepts of resource allocation mechanisms in Grid systems and helps them identify important and outstanding issues for further investigation. It also helps readers to choose the most appropriate mechanism for a given system/application.  相似文献

Oil and phenolics were extracted from Descurainia sophia (Sophia) seeds by a supercritical CO2 system. Extractions were conducted in two sequential steps, first using 100 % CO2 and then adding 10 % ethanol as co‐solvent. The extracts were collected in each step using two separate collectors operating at different pressures. The extraction run was 3 and 4 h for the first period, and 2 h for the second period. The majority of the oil was collected in the first extraction period while phenolic compounds were obtained in the second extraction period. A combined mode of static/dynamic extraction (3 h running and 1 h soaking in CO2) was also used in the first extraction period, which enhanced the total extraction yield (29.3 ± 0.5 %) and was comparable to the 4 h extraction yield (31.4 ± 0.1 %). The total fatty acid (FA) content of oil in collector 1 (0.94 g) was nearly twice that in collector 2 (0.60 g). The oil contained 14 FAs with α‐linolenic being predominant (48.5 %), with a total 91.1 % unsaturated FAs, a ω3/ω6 ratio of 2.7, and an erucic acid content of 6.2 %. More than 10 phenolic compounds were detected by HPLC in the Sophia seed extracts of which sinapic acid was the dominant compound. Sophia seed extracts showed high levels of antioxidant activity. These results suggest that Sophia seed oil and phenolics have the potential for functional food and pharmaceutical applications.  相似文献

In a survivable network design problem in cloud computing, one important goal is minimizing the network building costs, and the other important goal is maximizing the technical capability of the network. The literature investigation shows that the previous studies for computer network design proposed models only considering one of the above-mentioned goals and neglected the other. In this paper, a new model is developed in which the node survivable network design problem is formulated as a two-objective optimization problem considering both goals. To solve the formulated problem, several two-objective optimization procedures are adopted and the results are discussed. Finally, numerical simulations are performed for two real examples and the obtained results are discussed.

Synthesis of stable catalysts for water splitting is important for the renewable and clean energy production. Here, water oxidation activities of cobalt (II) complexes CoL1-CoL3 (13) with salophen type ligands (N,N′-bis(salicylidene)-4-chloro-1,2-phenylendiamine (H2L1), N,N′-bis(salicylidene)-4-bromo-1,2-phenylendiamine (H2L2) and N,N′-bis(salicylidene)-4-nitro-1,2-phenylendiamine (H2L3)) are studied by electrochemical techniques, FE-SEM images and XRD patterns. Linear sweep voltammetry studies indicate that 2 and 3 have superior activities and only require the overpotential of 316 and 247 mV vs. RHE at current density of 10 mA/cm2 with Tafel slopes of 75 and 50 mVdec?1 at pH = 11. Experiments show relationships between the stability of the complexes and their catalytic activity. It is revealed that substituents on ligands affect the catalytic behaviors. Experiments show that in the presence of 2 and 3, the complexed cobalt ions are likely candidates as molecular catalysts for water oxidation. It is speculated that the O–O bond formation occurs by oxidizing the active center of cobalt complexes.  相似文献

Injectable bioactive glass-based pastes represent promising biomaterials to fill small bone defects thus improving and speed up the self-healing process. Accordingly, injectable nanocomposite pastes based on bioactive glass-gelatin-3-glycidyloxypropyl trimethoxysilane (GPTMS) were here synthesized via two different glasses 64SiO2. 27CaO. 4MgO. 5P2O5 (mol.%) and 64SiO2.31CaO. 5P2O5 (mol.%). In particular, the effects of MgO on bioactivity, rheology, injectability, disintegration resistance, compressive strength and cellular behaviors were investigated. The results showed that the disintegration resistance and compressive strength of the composite were improved by the replacement of MgO; thus, leading to an increase in the amount of storage modulus (G′) from 26800 to 43400 Pa, equal to an increase in the viscosity of the paste from 136 × 103 to 219 × 103 Pa s. Since the release rate of ions became more controllable, the formation of calcite was decreased after immersion of the Mg bearing samples in the SBF solution. Specimens’ cytocompatibility was firstly verified towards human osteoblasts by metabolic assay as well as visually confirmed by the fluorescent live/dead staining; finally, the ability of human fibroblasts to penetrate within the pores of 3D composites was verified by a migration assay simulating the devices repopulation upon injection in the injured site.  相似文献

Bioactive pastes containing bioactive sol–gel derived glass (BG) and various amounts of chitosan (Cn) and gelatin (Gel) were prepared in this study. To be exact, three pastes were prepared by mixing 25 parts by weight of glass powder with (a) 100 parts by weight of a 3 wt% acetic acid-based chitosan solution, (b) 100 parts by weight of a 3 wt% water-based gelatin solution, and (c) 100 parts by weight of a solution containing equal amounts of the above-mentioned solutions. The bioactivity of the composite samples was evaluated by the immersion of the prepared pastes into the simulated body fluid (SBF) solution. The samples were also analyzed by X-ray diffractometry (XRD), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). The results indicated better apatite formation capacity on the glass-/chitosan-/gelatin-injected paste after 14 days. Furthermore, unlike the chitosan containing paste, the gelatin-containing sample was injectable and displayed viscoelastic behavior as determined by conducting the rheology test in oscillation mode. In addition, while chitosan made the paste more viscous, it improved the washout resistance when compared to the gelatin-containing sample. The experimental results also indicate the formation of spherical calcites in the pastes prior to immersion into the SBF solution.  相似文献

Extra virgin olive oil has been associated with a reduced incidence of risk factors for coronary heart disease also owing to the presence of antioxidant biophenols. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) have been implicated in numerous somatic illnesses, including cardiovascular disorders and cancer. The aim of this work was to study the capacity of virgin olive oil tyrosol (T) and hydroxytyrosol (HT) at impairing superoxide production and MMP-9 expressions in monocyte cells (THP-1) conveniently differentiated into adherent macrophages, taken as a model of human macrophages implicated in atheroma.O2 production was evaluated in THP-1 cells by using lucigenin as a specific chemiluminescent probe. Cells, after differentiation for 72 h, were preincubated in the presence of HT and T at increasing concentrations for 4, 15 and 24 h, and then, monocyte-like cells were stimulated by phorbol myristate acetate (PMA) and the O2-dependent luminescence was immediately recorded at 37 °C by means of a Luminometer. Enzymatic activity of MMP-9 derived from a medium of cells preincubated, or not, with T or HT was tested by zymography.As compared to the cells without treatment, cells preincubated with HT, showed a decrease of O2 production (50%) at 1 ??M for 15 h of preincubation time. Tyrosol fully prevented ROS overproduction at 15 h and, like HT displayed a high degree of protection but at higher concentrations and later time points (24 h). Gelatin zymograms revealed a reduction of the expression of MMP-9 in conditioned medium derived from T and HT-treated cells. These findings give further evidence in favour of olive oil consumption to counteract cardiovascular diseases.  相似文献

Alopecia is a treatable disorder that usually occurs due to high levels of 5‐alpha dihydrotestosterone in hair follicles. To enhance the storage capacity of hair follicles and alleviate the inherent characteristics of dutasteride, 5‐alpha reductase inhibitor, a prolonged‐release nanocarrier was synthesised, and its influence on rat abdomen''s skin was investigated. Results showed the lower ratio of S/Co (higher ethanol concentration) increased the hydrodynamic nanocarriers'' particle size due to thermodynamic disturbance and Ostwald ripening. In contrast, an increase in surfactant through a decrease in interfacial tension resulted in smaller nanocarriers of 32.4 nm. Moreover, an increase in viscosity had an inverse correlation with the nanoemulsions'' particle size. Nanocarriers containing ethanol showed less entrapment efficacy, perhaps due to the rapid dissolution of dutasteride into ethanol during nanoemulsification, while, based on Stokes'' equation, the addition of ethanol resulted in smaller particle size and stability of the system. Skin permeation analysis using Franz diffusion cells showed nanocarriers could pass through the skin and release dutasteride for 6 days. In conclusion, the optimum concentration of ingredients is decisive in guaranteeing the ideal particle size, stability, and skin permeation of nanocarriers. The Present dutasteride nanocarrier would promise a prolonged and sustained‐release drug delivery system for Alopecia therapy.  相似文献
