This paper describes some experimental results concerning the dielectric characterizations of PZT, PT and BT ferroelectric thin films deposited on silicon. Firstly, the ferroelectric properties of these films are checked, notably the high dielectric constant values. Secondly, assuming a simple electrical model, we derive from impedance measurements the conductivity of the platinum deposited as a bottom electrode.  相似文献

Magnetic complex oxides of iron nanoparticles are among the most important materials that have been studied. They have been widely used in different areas such as electronic devices, information storage, biomedical areas, drug-delivery, catalyst, and wastewater treatment. In different applications of nanoparticles, the shape and size of particles are very important because the electrical, optical, and magnetic properties of the nanoparticles depend on their dimension. In this study, nanoparticles of cobalt, nickel, and zinc ferrites were synthesized in uniform size by an electrochemical technique. First, the anode was made electrochemically by depositing each metal of zinc, nickel, and cobalt on the iron sheet from the solutions of 0.1 M Co2+, Ni2+, and Zn2+ ions as the precursor. Then the electrosynthesis of ferrite nanoparticles was performed in a second electrochemical cell where the prepared electrode was anode and stainless steel (316L) was cathode in the electrolyte solution of CTAB 0.04 M. The optimized value of current density was applied to the electrochemical cell. After then the same synthesis was carried out in the magnetic field supplied by two magnets. The prepared nanoparticles were characterized by x-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The magnetic properties were investigated by vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The comparison of two samples prepared in the magnetic field and without it showed the average size of the samples synthesized in the magnetic field was in the narrower size distribution of 20–30 nm and the saturation magnetization of the nanoparticles increased in the magnetic field.  相似文献

Highly ordered nanowire arrays of NiFe2O4 spinel with a high aspect ratio were fabricated by sol–gel method associated with anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) templates. The preparation of nanowires was carried out by sol–gel method using nickel nitrate, ferric nitrate and citric acid. The molar proportion of nickel nitrate to ferric nitrate and citric acid was 1:2:3. The suction with 0.1 mbar vacuum was used to draw the gel into the AAO nanochannels. The results showed that the lowest annealing temperature is around 600?°C to obtain the single-phase nanostructured NiFe2O4. The NiFe2O4 nanowires were also uniform and parallel. TEM pictures determined the diameter size of the nanowires of about 100 nm. The magnetic results also showed that the wires have an easy axis of magnetization along their length and they are fully saturated in a field of 7 kOe. It seems that this material could be a good candidate for high perpendicular magnetic storage devices.  相似文献

One of the most widely used multivariate control charts is the Hotelling T2. In order to construct a Hotelling T2 control chart, the mean vector (μ) and the variance–covariance matrix (Σ) must be first estimated. The classical estimators of μ and Σ are usually used to design Hotelling T2 control chart. The classical estimators are sensitive to the presence of outliers. One way to deal with outliers is to use robust estimators. In this study, a robust T2 control chart is proposed. The mean vector is obtained from the sample median. The median absolute deviation and the comedian are used as the estimates of the elements of the variance–covariance matrix. The proposed robust estimators of the mean vector and the variance–covariance matrix are compared with the sample mean vector and the sample variance–covariance matrix, and the M estimator of these parameters, through efficiency and robustness measures. The performances of the proposed robust T2 control chart and the classical and the M estimators are also compared by means of average run length. Simulation results reveal that the proposed robust T2 control chart has much better performance than the traditional Hotelling T2 and similar performance to the M estimator in detecting shifts in process mean vector. Use of other robust estimators to estimate the process parameters is an area for further research.  相似文献

The expression found for the expected value is used to determine the exact distribution of the depth of nth node. Since 2002, the emergence of multidrug resistant Salmonella enterica serovar Kentucky (S. Kentucky) and the associated salmonellosis with treatment failure were declared in different parts of the world and were in most of the case contracted during travels to Northeast and Eastern Africa. In the present work, we reported an epidemiological study of S. Kentucky isolated from different environmental and clinical origins in Tunisia, using Pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE); Enterobacterial Repetitive Intergenic Consensus (ERIC-2) fingerprinting; Plasmid profiling; and antibiotic resistance profiles. ERIC-2 fingerprinting allowed the differentiation of 14 different patterns versus only 4 pulsotypes. Besides, a high proportion of strains were found to be nontypeable by XbaI-PFGE and/or by plasmid profiling (plasmid-free strains). The antibiotic resistance was mainly detected against streptomycin (80.7%), sulfonamides (42.1%) and tetracycline (15.7%). Furthermore, two avian strains were shown to be resistant to trimethoprim–sulfamethoxazole and three clinical strains have demonstrated multidrug-resistant phenotypes (against 5 to 10 antibiotics) and all of them exhibited resistance against nalidixic acid, ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin and tetracycline.ERIC-2 PCR was found to be the most discriminative. However, combination of the three typing methods offer a better mean for differentiating S. Kentucky isolates, monitoring the multiresistant types and determination of their origin.  相似文献

Food-borne diseases caused by Salmonella enterica are a significant public health concern around the world. Since 2002, S. enterica serovar Kentucky has shown an increase in several countries with the concurrent emergence of multidrug-resistant isolates. The spread of such strains in the environment poses a major public health problem. A total of 57 Salmonella Kentucky strains isolated from different sources during the period 2005 to 2008 in Tunisia, were characterized by their antimicrobial and mercury resistance profiles; ability to form a biofilm; virulence invA/spvC genes and quorum sensing sdiA gene. A total of 10.6% of the isolates demonstrated multidrug-resistance against 3 to 13 antibiotics with ciprofloxacin resistance occurring in 33% of human isolates. In addition, 37% of the isolates exhibited minimum inhibitory concentrations value to mercuric chloride, ranging from 8 to 32 μg ml?1 and were considered as resistant strains. The majority of strains tested were able to form a biofilm, especially for environmental and animal derived isolates. Therefore, the biofilm seems to comprise a normal and favorable capability in the life of Salmonella Kentucky in the environment. Interestingly, all the isolates possessed the sdiA gene, 87.7% of isolates possessed the invA gene, and no isolate harbored the spvC gene.The emergence of resistance to ciprofloxacin in human Salmonella Kentucky isolates, added to the presence of invA and sdiA genes, and the production of biofilm could be the decisive factors in the dissemination of S. Kentucky strains on a large scale.  相似文献

Efficient optic disk (OD) localization and segmentation are important tasks in automated retinal screening. In this paper, we take digital curvelet transform (DCUT) of the enhanced retinal image and modify its coefficients based on the sparsity of curvelet coefficients to get probable location of OD. If there are not yellowish objects in retinal images or their size are negligible, we can then directly detect OD location by performing Canny edge detector to reconstructed image with modified coefficients. Otherwise, if the size of these objects is eminent, we can see circular regions in edge map as candidate regions for OD. In this case, we use some morphological operations to fill these circular regions and erode them to get final locations for candidate regions and remove undesired pixels in edge map. Since usually OD is surrounded by vessels, we choose the candidate region that has maximum summation of pixels in strongest edge map, which obtained by performing an appropriate threshold on the curvelet-based enhanced image, as final location of OD. Finally, the boundary of the OD is extracted by using level set deformable model. This method has been tested on different retinal image datasets and quantitative results are presented.  相似文献
