This study analyzes the performance of an integrated power generation system that combines a gas turbine combined cycle (GTCC) with a methanation process. The methanation process uses hydrogen provided by a power-to-gas (PtG) process and carbon dioxide captured from the exhaust gas of the GTCC. The research aim was to maximize the GTCC performance through an effective integration between the GTCC and methanation. Two methods were proposed to utilize the steam generated from the methanation process. One was to supply it to the steam turbine bottoming cycle of the GTCC, and the other was to inject it into the GT combustor. Also investigated was the injection of oxygen generated in the PtG process into the gas turbine combustor. The largest improvements in the power and efficiency were predicted to be 19.3 % and 4.9 % through the combination of the steam supply to the bottoming cycle and the oxygen injection to the combustor.

We attempted to determine whether intratracheal (IT) transplantation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) could simultaneously attenuate hyperoxia-induced lung injuries and microbial dysbiosis of the lungs, brain, and gut in newborn rats. Newborn rats were exposed to hyperoxia (90% oxygen) for 14 days. Human umbilical cord blood-derived MSCs (5 × 105) were transplanted via the IT route on postnatal day (P) five. At P14, the lungs were harvested for histological, biochemical, and microbiome analyses. Bacterial 16S ribosomal RNA genes from the lungs, brain, and large intestine were amplified, pyrosequenced, and analyzed. IT transplantation of MSCs simultaneously attenuated hyperoxia-induced lung inflammation and the ensuing injuries, as well as the dysbiosis of the lungs, brain, and gut. In correlation analyses, lung interleukin-6 (IL-6) levels were significantly positively correlated with the abundance of Proteobacteria in the lungs, brain, and gut, and it was significantly inversely correlated with the abundance of Firmicutes in the gut and lungs and that of Bacteroidetes in the lungs. In conclusion, microbial dysbiosis in the lungs, brain, and gut does not cause but is caused by hyperoxic lung inflammation and ensuing injuries, and IT transplantation of MSCs attenuates dysbiosis in the lungs, brain, and gut, primarily by their anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory effects. 相似文献
Rotation-invariant texture classification is one of the most challenging problems in computer vision. This paper presents a new and effective method for rotation-invariant texture classification based on the circular Gabor wavelets. The Gabor representation has been shown to be optimal in the sense of minimizing the joint two-dimensional uncertainty in space and frequency. The circular Gabor filter is completely circularly symmetric. So, the circular Gabor wavelets are constructed to decompose an image into multiple scales (subbands) and are rotation invariant. Two group features can be constructed by the mean and variance of the circular Gabor filtered images, and rotation invariant. The experimental results show that the proposed method has comparatively high correct classification rates. 相似文献
A new controller for linear multivariable ordinary systems is suggested in which distributed delays are included in the feedback loop. A general design approach to obtain this type of controller is suggested. It is shown that the resulting closed-loop system is asymptotically stable under some sufficient conditions. Sufficient conditions are derived under which the disturbance attenuation, the robustness against parameter variations, and the time-delay stability margins are improved by the proposed controller. The state feedback tracking controller and the dual-state observer are obtained by modification of the proposed controller. 相似文献
Unlike in unicast transmissions, a feedback channel has not been implemented for multicast transmission over Mobile ad hoc networks (MANET), due to the increase in the overhead with increasing group member size. As a result, rate-adaptation for wireless multicast has not been considered either. In this paper, a novel rate-adaptive Medium Access Control protocol is proposed to allow dynamic rate-adaptation for wireless multicast transmission over MANETs by utilizing the orthogonality of the subcarriers in an Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing system. In the proposed rate-adaptation method, each member station is assigned a unique subcarrier and by using this subcarrier, its preferred data rate in the current channel condition is reported to the multicast source. Due to their orthogonality, the feedbacked packets simultaneously transmitted by the group members can be distinguished at the source. Therefore, the source chooses the most appropriate data rate for all member stations. By using this method, the data rate for wireless multicast is able to be adaptively changed, so that the overall network performance is improved. 相似文献
The microstructures of the brazed joints for commercially pure Ti and stainless steel were investigated by the applications of various filler alloys including Ag-, Ti-, Zr- and Ni-based alloys. Generally, the dissimilar joints between Ti and stainless steel were dominated by the Ti-based intermetallic compounds (IMCs), e.g. (Ti, Zr)2(Fe, Ni), TiFe, TiCu, and Ti2(Fe, Ni), due to a significant dissolution of Ti from the base metal. The (Fe-Cr) σ phase was also observed near the stainless steel due to a segregation of Cr into the interface region. This research demonstrates empirically that the brittleness of the Ti and stainless steel joint can not be avoided only by applying single braze alloy or single insert metal, and thus an introduction of additional suitable interlayer between the filler alloy and the base metal is necessary to prevent the brittleness of the joint. 相似文献
