Imidazo-fused heterocycles are used as anticancer agents. In this study, some novel imidazo[2,1-b]thiazoles were synthesized from thiohydantoins and α-bromoketones in good yields. In this paper, a time-domain noise-coupling technique based on the pulse width modulation is proposed. The time-domain quantization error is digitally extracted and shaped by an asynchronous digital filter. This digitally filtered quantization error is applied to the quantizer input to increase the modulator’s noise-shaping order. By using this technique in continuous-time sigma-delta modulators, the modulator’s shaping property is significantly enhanced. Comparative analytical calculations and simulation results are presented to estimate the performance of modulators employing the proposed quantizer. System-level simulation results reveal a (L + 2)th order noise-shaping capability of the proposed modulator while it employs only L analog integrators. The effects of main circuit non-idealities in the modulator’s performance are analytically investigated and confirmed by the simulation results. 相似文献

Ultra-fine grained(UFG) cylindrical tubes were produced via recently developed tubular channel angular pressing(TCAP) process through different passes from as-cast AZ91 magnesium alloy.The microstructure and mechanical properties of processed tube through one to four passes of TCAP process at 200 ℃ were investigated.Microhardness of the processed tube was increased to 98.5 HV after one pass from an initial value of 67 HV.An increase in the number of passes from one to higher number of passes has no more effect on the microhardness.Yield and ultimate strengths were increased by 4.3 and 1.4 times compared to those in as-cast condition.Notable increase in the strength was achieved after one pass of TCAP while higher number of passes has no more effect.Microstructural investigation shows notable decrease in the grain size to around 500 nm from the primary value of ~ 150 μm.Dissolution and distribution of hard Mg_(17)Al_(12) phase in the grain boundaries of dynamically recrystallized UFG AZ91 with a mean grain size of ~500 nm was an interesting issue of TCAP processing at 200 ℃ compared to other severe plastic deformation processes. 相似文献

Summary Morphology and thermal characteristics of poly (trimethylene terephthalate) (PTT)/ metallocene linear low-density polyethylene (m-LLDPE) blends with different amounts of a terpolymer based on glycidyl methacrylate (GMA), employed as a possible compatibilizer, were systematically examined. DMTA results show two distinct peaks for all neat blends associated with each phase. Melt crystallization degree of both phases in all the blends was observed to be reduced compared to pure components, except for that of PTT-rich phase in those blends with PTT as the matrix which slightly increases. Addition of the terpolymer to the system is found to effectively reduce the droplet size of the dispersed phase and increase phase adhesion. Also it increases the crystallinity of PTT in the system with PTT as the matrix. The influence of the compatibilizer is ascribed to the chemical interaction of PTT functional end groups with GMA functionalities. The efficiency of the terpolymer as a compatibilizer beyond 5 wt% content decreases which can be ascribed to the interface saturation and formation of micelles in the bulk phases. 相似文献

Even though trans fatty acids (TFAs) are present in natural sources such as foods from ruminant origins, the development of partially hydrogenated vegetable oil contributed to a significant increase in total TFAs consumption in humans. Currently, TFA consumption is considered to be a risk factor for coronary heart diseases. Researchers are now starting to discover that not all TFAs behave in a similar manner, that is, isomer specificity may be found. Among non‐conjugated TFAs, plant originated TFAs (mainly elaidic and linolelaidic acids) are particularly linked to increased risk for coronary heart diseases, while animal originated TFAs (mainly vaccenic acid) are not. Among conjugated TFAs, two major isomers of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), cis‐9, trans‐11 and trans‐10, cis‐12, show distinctive biological activities. A number of clinical trials of CLA with effects on body composition have been reported, but effects on coronary heart disease risk factors have been inconsistent. Meanwhile, safety concerns regarding CLA, in particular isomer specificity, have also been raised. Thus, it is critical to identify isomer specific effects of TFAs on particular risk factors, to determine their health impact. 相似文献

Summary Rheological characteristics and morphology of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) /ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE)/EVA blends were compared. Morphological examinations clearly reveal a two-phase morphology in which the LDPE/EVA blends have smaller dispersed domain size than HDPE/EVA Furthermore, LDPE/EVA shows a finely interconnected morphology at 50wt% of EVA while HDPE/EVA exhibits a coarse co-continuous morphology at the same composition. The morphological observations can be attributed to the lower viscosity ratio and lower interfacial tension in the LDPE/EVA system. The Palierne model also successfully fits to the experimental data giving higher values for interfacial tension of HDPE/EVA system as compared to LDPE/EVA. 相似文献

In this paper, a new type of an oscillatory noise‐shaped quantizer (NSQ) for time‐based continuous‐time sigma‐delta modulators is presented. The proposed NSQ is composed of an oscillatory voltage‐to‐time converter and a polyphase sampler. Using Tustin's transformation method and through the approximation of the comparator gain, a linearized model of the NSQ is introduced. This way, a novel realization of the first‐ and second‐order NSQ is presented. Its implementation is based on fully passive continuous‐time filters without needing any amplifier or power consuming element. The ploy‐phase sampler inside the NSQ is based on the combination of a time‐to‐digital and a digital‐to‐time converter. The layout of the proposed NSQ is provided in Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company 0.18 μm complementary metal‐oxide‐semiconductor 1P6M technology. The verification of the proposed NSQ is done via investigating both the system level and postlayout simulation results. Leveraging the proposed NSQ in an Lth‐order time‐based continuous‐time sigma‐delta modulator enhances the noise‐shaping order up to L + 2, confirming its superior effectiveness. This makes it possible to design high performance and wideband continuous‐time SDMs with low power consumption and relaxed design complexity. 相似文献
