The study on database technologies, or more generally, the technologies of data and information management, is an important and active research field. Recently, many exciting results have been reported. In this fast growing field, Chinese researchers play more and more active roles. Research papers from Chinese scholars, both in China and abroad,appear in prestigious academic forums.In this paper,we, nine young Chinese researchers working in the United States, present concise surveys and report our recent progress on the selected fields that we are working on.Although the paper covers only a small number of topics and the selection of the topics is far from balanced, we hope that such an effort would attract more and more researchers,especially those in China,to enter the frontiers of database research and promote collaborations. For the obvious reason, the authors are listed alphabetically, while the sections are arranged in the order of the author list.  相似文献

针对KUKA机器人焊接质量监测工作量大、抽样样本小的特点,提出一种基于后验预测分布的贝叶斯动态监控方法。从历史数据中选择合适的数据,计算先验分布的超参数;再结合当前样本构建服从负二项分布的后验预测分布,实时计算控制限,实现对焊接质量的动态监测。结果表明:该方法优于传统似然估计法,有更强的异常检出力和稳健性。  相似文献

The joint optimal operation of cascade reservoir system can greatly improve the utilization of water resources. However, the complex high-dimensional and non-linear features and calculated costs often hinder the refined operation and management of reservoirs. Recently, the local parallel computing has become an effective way to alleviate the "curse of dimensionality". Current local parallel computing has hardware limitations, which is difficult to adapt to large-scale computing. This study proposes a novel parallel dynamic programming algorithm based on Spark (PDPoS) via cloud computing. The simulation experiments are carried out for a comparative analysis of the solution efficiency, influence factors and stability of cloud computing. The results are as follows: (1) The efficiency of the cloud-based PDPoS is related to some factors; the number of CPU cores is the main influencing factor, followed by the operator, and the architecture has the least influence. (2) The runtime variance of cloud computing is 2.03, indicating cloud computing has high stability. (3) Under the same configuration (i.e., CPU and memory), the runtime of cloud computing is 41.5%?~?110.3% longer than that of physical machines. However, cloud computing has rich resources, good scalability, and good portability of online operations, which is an attractive alternative for optimal operation of large-scale reservoir system.

A series of biodegradable chitosan‐graft‐polylactide (CS‐g‐PLA) copolymers were prepared by grafting of poly(L ‐lactide) (PLLA) or poly(D ‐lactide) (PDLA) precursor to the backbone of chitosan using N,N′‐carbonyldiimidazole as coupling agent. The composition of the copolymers was varied by adjusting the chain length of PLA as well as the ratio of chitosan to PLA. The copolymers synthesized via this ‘graft‐onto’ method present interesting properties as shown by NMR and infrared spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography and solubility tests. Hydrogels were prepared by mixing water‐soluble CS‐g‐PLLA and CS‐g‐PDLA solutions. Gelation was assigned to stereocomplexation between PLLA and PDLA blocks as evidenced by differential scanning calorimetry and wide‐angle X‐ray diffraction measurements. Thymopentin (TP5) was taken as a model drug to evaluate the potential of these CS‐g‐PLA hydrogels as drug carriers. An initial burst and a final release up to 82% of TP5 were observed from high‐performance liquid chromatography analysis. Copyright © 2011 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献
