Computational fluid dynamic (CFD) tool has been applied to investigate the erosion of duct walls and that of tubers (10 × 10 aligned tube bank in the duct) near side walls, which is caused by coal ash particle impaction. The flow field is obtained by using direct numerical simulation (DNS) method. The coupling between tubes and flows are made through the immersed boundary technique. Particles are tracked by using Lagrangian approach and further coupled with gas phase. Four coal ash particles are considered 6.2, 20, 80, and 200 μm. The mono- and bi-polar electrodialysis processes for pyruvate recovery and pyruvic acid generation, respectively, were examined in order to determine their feasibility for application in the pyruvate production process. Under optimum process conditions (constant current mode i = 39.7 A m−2, pyruvate model solution cp = 50 g dm−3 in the monopolar electrodialysis experiment pyruvate flux reached 367 g m−2 h−1 and specific energy consumption was 1.4 kWh kg−1. In the bi-polar electrodialysis experiment under optimum process conditions (constant current mode i = 9.6 A m−2, pyruvate model solution cp = 48 g dm−3, pyruvate flux reached 125 g m−2 h−1 and specific energy consumption was 1.5 kWh kg-1. Generally speaking, performances of the bi-polar electrodialysis were equal to the best process conditions observed with mono-polar electrodialysis. On the other hand, current densities investigated in the bi-polar electrodialysis experiments were four-fold lower than those applied in the mono-polar electrodialysis experiments. Additionally, a mathematical model to represent the ion and water transport behavior of an electrodialysis process for concentrating pyruvic acid under the influence of different current density was developed. The use of urea–formaldehyde (UF) resins with lower contents of free formaldehyde in the board industry has led to products with very low emissions of formaldehyde. In this study, a detailed account is given of how UF resins with different mole ratios of formaldehyde to urea within the range of 0.97–1.27 influence the formaldehyde emission. In order to evaluate simpler laboratory methods for determining the formaldehyde emission from particleboard, the desiccator (JIS A 5908, 2003) and the EN 120 (European Standard, 1991) have been compared with the 1 m3 chamber method SS 270236 (Swedish Standard of determining formaldehyde emission with chamber test, 1988). Good relationships were obtained between the methods studied with correlation coefficients of >0.9. The value of formaldehyde emission decreased linearly with the mole ratio of formaldehyde to urea down to 1.05 where the effect smoothed out. The effect on the formaldehyde emission of temperature and storage time for tested boards also was studied. The heat treatment lowered the perforator value with resins that had mole ratios equal to or higher than 1.15, at the two lowest mole ratios 0.97 and 1.01, there was a tendency for the heat treatment to increase the perforator value. After the boards were stored for 6 months at 23 °C and 50% RH, the perforator values were unchanged or negligibly changed with the lower mole ratios and there was a more pronounced change with a higher mole ratio of 1.27. 相似文献

针对城市电网规划中电力负荷空间分布和时间动态演化预测难题,提出一种采用元胞自动机(cellular automata,CA)模拟城市土地利用的逐年发展过程进而进行城市配电网空间负荷预测方法。该方法基于云模型的知识,将影响因素的定性概念所具有的模糊性、随机性有机地结合在一起,构成定性和定量间的相互映射。综合考虑多种影响负荷发展的因素,运用云理论训练CA转换规则,制定多种转换规则来预测规划区域地块的发展程度。通过应用所提模型和方法对某规划小区负荷发展进行预测及实际对比,验证了其有效性。 相似文献

磁化焙烧工艺已成为处理难选铁矿资源的主要手段,焙烧产品冷却方式是影响磁化焙烧产品选别指标的重要因素。以海南某赤铁矿纯矿物为研究对象,考察了其磁化焙烧后惰性气氛、水淬冷却和空气气氛冷却方式对焙烧产品磁铁矿氧化程度的影响。结果表明:惰性气氛可以有效防止磁铁矿发生氧化反应,产品单位质量磁矩最大,为74.2 A?m2/kg;水淬冷却过程中发生轻微的氧化反应,产品单位质量磁矩为72.5 A?m2/kg;而空气冷却方式下,磁铁矿冷却过程中部分氧化为赤铁矿,焙烧产物的单位质量磁矩仅为37.6 A?m2/kg。空气气氛冷却受冷却初始温度影响较大,随着冷却初始温度的降低,冷却产物FeO含量逐渐增加,单位质量磁矩逐渐增加,比磁化系数逐渐增加。试验结果可以为难选铁矿石磁化焙烧过程优化提供参考。 相似文献
