Nonlinearities of an aperture-limited in-line far-field hologram

In several papers, effects of film nonlinearity have been studied considering the off-axis holography. In this analysis, the case of the in-line far-field holography is considered. It is shown that the finite aperture effects influence both the number of extrema in the intensity distribution of an image and the edge smear of this image, while the nonlinearity produces a decrease of the contrast.     

Image structure representation and processing: a discussion of some segmentation methods in cytology

Image processing methods (segmentation) are presented in connection with a modeling of image structure. An image is represented as a set of primitives, characterized by their type, abstraction level, and a list of attributes. Entities (regions for example) are then described as a subset of primitives obeying particular rules. Image segmentation methods are discussed, according to the associated image modeling level. Their potential efficacity is compared, when applied to cytologic image analysis.     

A Chinese information processing system

The Chinese information processing system(CIPS)introduced in this paper can producegraphs,tables,flowcharts,mathematical equations,forms and also provides typesettingfacilities.The system can process not only Chinese text but also English text or a mixture ofthem.It is written in C language and runs on VAX Ⅱ/780 under Unix operating system.TheCIPS system is very easy to use and provides user-defined macro which allows abbreviationsof commonly used Chinese phrases and reduce the complexity of Chinese characters coding.     

Developing a census data-mapping package for Sirius]

This paper describes the development of a census data-mapping package for the Sirius microcomputer. The major objective was to display data from the 1981 United Kingdom Census Small Area Statistics onto various map bases for use in published reports and for interactive comparisons among census variables     

CrMoV钢时效前热处理对磷在晶界偏析的影响

含有0.04wt-％P的汽轮机转子用CrMoV钢,时效前在较高温度(600和570℃)进行预时效处理,然后在480℃时效,元素磷偏析到晶界的速度比没有经过预时效处理的钢快得多。这与预时效过程中碳化物析出,基体成分改变有关。Mo可抑制磷的偏析,但因时效过程中富Mo碳化物的生成和长大,使基体中Mo的含量降低,因此,磷从Mo的“束缚”下“解放”出来并偏析到晶界,使脆性转变温度升高,此外,碳化物的粗化也可能导致脆性转变温度升高。
