The use of force modulation microscopy to investigate block copolymer morphology

Force modulation microscopy (FMM) is used to characterize the external surface and internal fracture surface morphologies of three different block copolymer samples. A roll-cast poly(styrene-butadiene-styrene) triblock copolymer film, spin-coated poly(styrene-b-methyl methacrylate) thin films, and an ultrathin poly(styrene-b-hexyl isocyanate) rod-coil block copolymer film were investigated. For each sample, height and elasticity images were obtained for the same areas allowing direct comparison. The elasticity images obtained using force modulation microscopy were independent of surface roughness and found to exhibit better contrast and spatial resolution of the respective block copolymer domains than the height images. The lateral resolution of the elasticity images was sufficient to show microphase separated domains having length scales as small as about 10 nm. The poly(styrene-b-methyl methacrylate) samples demonstrate that FMM can even be successfully used to study block copolymers in which both blocks are glassy under the conditions of measurement.     

Dielectric characteristics of composite ceramics in the Ba(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O3-BaO · Nd2O3 · 5TiO2 system

Dielectric characteristics of composite ceramics in the system Ba(Mg_1/3Ta_2/3)O₃-BaO · Nd₂O₃ · 5TiO₂ were investigated to search for a new candidate system for microwave dielectric ceramics with modifiable dielectric constant, low dielectric loss and small temperature dependence. The dielectric constant could be adjusted in the range 25–81 by controlling the concentration of BaO · Nd₂O₃ · 5TiO₂, while the dielectric loss remained of the order of 10^–4 for some compositions. Moreover, the dielectric properties in the present system could be significantly improved by post-densification thermal treatment.     

东阳八达水电站拱坝蓄水设计

为解决八达水电站拱坝施工过程中出现的具体问题，提出了几种可能的方案，并对选定方案进行了大量的计算，最后确定采用二次封拱和下游坝面喷淋冷却水方案。既符合规范要求，也满足坝体应力的控制要求。实施后效果良好。     

矩形板压电振子振动有限元分析

利用有限元法，对具有四个凸起的矩形板压电振子的振动状态进行了解析计算，并根据其振动特点，重新选择结构参数制作了超声矩形板马达，结果大大提高了这种马达的转速和效率等性能。     

苎麻阳离子改性的研究（三）：改性苎麻的染色机理

采用上染速率，等温吸附模型，Ｚｅｔａ电位、染料与纤维的结合力等方法从理论上研究了改性苎麻的染色机理，苎麻改性后，纤维表面的Ｚｅｔａ电位由原来的－４２ｍＶ提高到－１８ｍＶ，正电性显著增加，提高了阴离子染料对改性苎麻的亲和力，上染率高，节约染料。     

管内机器人研究中的几项新技术

介绍了我们研制的管内机器人中应用的具有创新性的三项技术：１．轮式全主动新型行走机构；２．内壁环带视觉装置；３．新型离心喷涂器。     

Ovarian mucinous cystadenocarcinoma with mural nodules of anaplastic carcinoma: report of a case and review of the literature

A decline of cytosol protein kinase C activity was observed in rat myocardial cells at 4 and 8 h after endotoxin administration, and membrane-associated protein kinase C activity rose at the same time. The activity of membrane protein kinase C in aortic smooth muscle cells at 0.5 and 4 h after endotoxin injection was higher than that in control, while cytosol protein kinase C activity was lower. The results indicate that protein kinase C was activated in myocardial cells and aortic smooth muscle cells during various phases of endotoxemia.     

Transfected glucocorticoid receptor and certain GR fragments evoke cell death in malignant lymphoid, not myeloid cell lines

We compared the data from four growth hormone (GH) immunoassays for analyzing 24-h GH profiles in four apparently normal subjects and four obese subjects (508 serum samples). The detection limit was 0.02 microgram/L for one immunochemiluminometric assay (ICMA), 0.1 microgram/L for two IRMAs, and 0.4 microgram/L for one RIA. All GH pulses with a peak ICMA value > 1 microgram/L were detected by each of the other methods. Overall, the correlation coefficient between the values obtained with all four assays exceeded 0.90. However, for GH concentrations < or = 0.25 microgram/L, acceptable concordance (r2 > or = 0.80) was reached only between the ICMA and one IRMA; between the ICMA and the RIA, concordance was acceptable only for GH concentrations > or = 10 micrograms/L. In the normal subjects, the percentage of undetectable values was 0% with the ICMA but 29% with one of the IRMAs; in obese subjects, the corresponding values were 12% and 38%.
