Theoretical Investigation of the Viscous Damping Coefficient of Hydraulic Actuators

The viscous damping coefficient(VDC) of hydraulic actuators is crucial for system modeling,control and dynamic characteristic analysis.Currently,the researches on hydraulic actuators focus on behavior assessment,promotion of control performance and efficiency.However,the estimation of the VDC is difficult due to a lack of study.Firstly,using two types of hydraulic cylinders,behaviors of the VDC are experimentally examined with velocities and pressure variations.For the tested plunger type hydraulic cylinder,the exponential model B=αυ~(-β),(α0,β0)or B=α_1e~(-β_1υ)+α_2e~(-β_2υ)(α_1,α_20,β_1,β_20),fits the relation between the VDC and velocities for a given pressure of chamber with high precision.The magnitude of the VDC decreases almost linearly under certain velocities when increasing the chamber pressure from 0.6 MPa to 6.0 MPa.Furthermore,the effects of the chamber pressures on the VDC of piston and plunge type hydraulic cylinders are different due to different sealing types.In order to investigate the VDC of a plunger type hydraulic actuator drastically,a steady-state numerical model has been developed to describe the mechanism incorporating tandem seal lubrication,back-up ring related friction behaviors and shear stress of fluid.It is shown that the simulated results of VDC agree with the measured results with a good accuracy.The proposed method provides an instruction to predict the VDC in system modeling and analysis.

《红楼梦》中有大量的典故,充满着丰富的互文性。翻译过程中的互文指涉蕴含着深厚的历史文化沉淀。从互文性角度探讨杨宪益、戴乃迭夫妇所译《红楼梦》中典故翻译。认为译者充分发挥了主体性,把保留原语互文关系和文化特色放在首位,这对提高翻译质量和更好地传递典故的文化内涵有着重要的作用。     

Degradability and biocompatibility of bioglass/poly(amino acid) composites with different surface bioactivity as bone repair materials

Bioglass (BG) possesses excellent bioactivity and has been widely used in the manufacture of biomaterials. In this study, a composite with different surface bioactivity was fabricated via in situ melting polymerization by incorporating BG and poly(amino acid) (PAA) at a suitable ratio. The structure of the composite was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and XRD. The compressive strength of the BG/PAA composites was 139 MPa (BG:PAA = 30:70). The BG/PAA composites were degradable, and higher BG in composite showed higher weight loss after 4 weeks of incubation in simulated body fluid. In addition, the BG/PAA composite maintained adequate residual compressive strength during the degradation period. The SEM results showed the differences in surface bioactivities of the composites directly, and 30BG/PAA composite showed thicker apatite layer and higher Ca/p than 15BG/PAA. in vitro MG-63 cell culture experiments showed that the composite was noncytotoxic and thus allows cells to adhere, proliferate, and differentiate. This indicates that the composite has good biocompatibility. The implantations in the bone defects of rabbits for 4 and 12 weeks were studied. The composites had good biocompatibility and were capable of guiding new bone formation without causing any inflammation. The composite may be successfully used in the development of bone implants.     

注塑产品动态装配模型的集成知识模型研究

基于MBR(基于模型的推理)技术，建立了注塑模具动态装配结构模型；基于RBR(基于规则的推理)技术，应用面向对象的规则模型(OOR)，建立了动态装配规则的知识表示模型。最后，该文将两种知识表示模型集成，建立了完整的知识模型，为整个系统的后续工作奠定了基础。     

A new high accuracy method for two-dimensional biharmonic equation with nonlinear third derivative terms: application to Navier–Stokes equations of motion

In this paper, we propose a new compact fourth-order accurate method for solving the two-dimensional fourth-order elliptic boundary value problem with third-order nonlinear derivative terms. We use only 9-point single computational cell in the scheme. The proposed method is then employed to solve Navier–Stokes equations of motion in terms of streamfunction–velocity formulation, and the lid-driven square cavity problem. We describe the derivation of the method in details and also discuss how our streamfunction–velocity formulation is able to handle boundary conditions in terms of normal derivatives. Numerical results show that the proposed method enables us to obtain oscillation-free high accuracy solution.     

依托网络教学平台 提高课堂教学效果

Occlusion cues for image scene layering

To bring computer vision closer to human vision, we attempt to enable computer to understand the occlusion relationship in an image. In this paper, we propose five low dimensional region-based occlusion cues inspired by the human perception of occlusion. These cues are semantic cue, position cue, compactness cue, shared boundary cue and junction cue. We apply these cues to predict the region-wise occlusion relationship in an image and infer the layer sequence of the image scene. A preference function, trained with samples consisting of these cues, is defined to predict the occlusion relationship in an image. Then we put all the occlusion predictions into the layering algorithm to infer the layer sequence of the image scene.The experiments on rural, artificial and outdoor scene datasets show the effectiveness of our method for occlusion relationship prediction and image scene layering.
