Biomimetic Robust Starch Composite Films with Super-Hydrophobicity and Vivid Structural Colors

The starch composite films (SCFs) will be one of the best alternative packaging materials to petroleum based plastic films, which mitigates white pollution and energy consumption. However, weak mechanical stability, water resistance, and dyeability has hindered the application of SCFs. Herein, a bioinspired robust SCFs with super-hydrophobicity and excellent structural colors were prepared by fiber-reinforcement and assembling SiO₂/Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) amorphous arrays on the surface of SCFs. The properties of the designed SCFs were investigated by various methods including scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA), a tensile test, contact angle (CA) test, and an optical test. The results showed that the obtained SCFs possessed a higher tensile strength (55.17 MPa) attributed to the formed abundant hydrogen bonds between the molecular chains of the starch, cellulose fiber, and polyvinyl alcohol. Benefiting from the nanostructure with rough surface which were modified by materials with low surface free energy, the contact angle and sliding angle of the film reached up to 154° and 2°, respectively. The colors which were produced by the constructive interference of the coherent scattered light could cover all of the visible regions by tuning the diameters of the SiO₂ nanoparticles. The strategy in the present study not only reinforces the mechanical strength and water resistance of SCFs but also provides an environmentally friendly way to color the them, which shows unprecedented application potential in packaging materials of the starch composite films.     

Verrucosidin Derivatives from the Deep Sea Cold-Seep-Derived Fungus Penicillium polonicum CS-252

Six novel verrucosidin derivatives, namely, poloncosidins A–F (1–6), together with one known analogue (7), were isolated and identified from the deep-sea-derived fungus Penicillium polonicum CS-252, which was obtained from cold-seep sediments collected in the South China Sea at a depth of 1183 m. Their structures were mainly established on the basis of a detailed interpretation of NMR spectroscopic and mass spectrometric data. The relative and absolute configurations of compounds 1–6 were determined by ECD calculations and a DP4+ probability analysis. Compounds 1–5 represent the first examples of verrucosidins with a 2,5-dihydrofuran ring which is uncommon among the known analogues. These compounds exhibited inhibitory activities against several human and aquatic pathogens with MIC values ranging from 4 to 32 μg/mL.

Binuclear aluminum complex as an efficient orange emitter in single-layer electroluminescent devices

A binuclear aluminum complex with a chelating anilido-imine conjugated Schiff base ligand, 1,4-{o-C₆H₄[N(2,6-ⁱPr₂C₆H₃)][CH  N]Al(CH₃)₂}₂C₆H₄ (3), was synthesized from the alkane elimination reaction of trimethylaluminum with the free ligand, 1,4-{o-C₆H₄[NH(2,6-ⁱPr₂C₆H₃)][CH  N]}₂C₆H₄ (2), at room temperature. The photophysical properties of complex 3 were briefly examined and it was found that complex 3 displays bright orange luminescence in solution and in solid state. Electroluminescent devices were fabricated by doping complex 3 in polymer blend host of poly(vinylcarbazole) and 2-tert-butylphenyl-5-biphenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazol using simple solution spin-coating technique. Efficient orange light emission was obtained from the fabricated single-layer organic light-emitting devices with a maximum current efficiency of 3.2 cd/A.

天然气超声流量计健康状态评价方法初探

目的天然气计量用超声流量计性能诊断主要采用设定参数阈值的诊断方法,为降低误报、漏报等情况,建立了基于生成对抗神经网络(generated adjoint neural network,GAN)和高维非线性无监督学习的超声流量计健康状态系统诊断方法。 方法采用GAN对原始数据进行学习、生成和扩充,保障超声流量计健康状态诊断建模的数据基础,提取超声流量计在运行过程中的健康状态参数并对其进行时序分析,采用高维非线性无监督聚类学习方法,结合超声流量计失效模式分析,对超声流量计设备进行在线的健康状态诊断。 结果结合超声流量计工作原理和现场实际采集数据,对生成的故障数据集进行了验证。 结论能够准确识别超声流量计当前状态,显著解决传统阈值法误报率、漏报率高的问题,为超声流量计健康诊断的统一管理与开发给予支撑。      

矿山工业用转轮式除湿机的设计

以某型适合矿山地面生产部门用的工业转轮式除湿机为研究对象,讨论了除湿机的基本工作原理并进行理论分析计算。在结构设计时,充分考虑到除湿机的工作环境特点,对其结构进行了优化设计。通过实际测试,结果表明与设计计算值基本吻合。
