The third harmonic generation dynamics and the response spectrum of an optically thin layer of a medium possessing cubic nonlinearity depend on the absolute phase of a short light pulse with a small (~2%) detuning of the carrier frequency from that of the linear oscillator in the medium. A mathematical model of a plant for oxygen-enriched air production by pressure swing adsorption is proposed. The model takes into account the experimentally determined actual dependence of the longitudinal dispersion coefficient on the gas velocity and the sorbent particle size. The relationship between the plant efficiency and the duration of each of the operating cycle stages is studied using an ad hoc computer program for numerically solving the model equations. It is shown that optimization of the durations of cycle stages increases the thermodynamic efficiency of the plant to 20–22% in comparison to industrial plants. 相似文献

No Heading We apply a quantum hydrodynamics of the surface of 3He-4He solutions to account for the in-plane transport of the two-dimensional (2D) spin-aligned atomic hydrogen (H) adsorbed on superfluid helium film. We discuss how the surface flow of 2D H may be traced in experiment thus allowing to study the interaction of the 2D hydrogen with ripplons and surface-bound 3He as well as to observe the superfluidity of the 2D Bose gas of H. As an example we consider the formation of the ESR spectrum of the 2D H and find that in spatially non-uniform case the surface flow contributes significantly to the conditions of the ESR spectrum instability observable at high microwave power. A mapping theorem by L.A. Zadeh and C.A. Desoer (1963) serves as the basis for an algorithm that computes the stability margin k m of diagonally perturbed multivariable feedback systems without conservatism. The stability margin determination not only verifies system stability but also quantifies how much further the plan uncertainties can be extended before instability occurs. The essence of the computational approach is the realization that the true image of a given domain can be approximated with arbitrary accuracy by first subdividing the domain into the requisite number of subdomains and then forming the union of the convex hulls of their images. The technique is illustrated in an example with a plant model having three uncertainties.
