Diabetic ulcer is the most common kind of chronic wound worldwide. Though great efforts have been devoted, diabetic ulcer still remains as a challenge that requires constant monitoring and management. In this work, a multifunctional zwitterionic hydrogel is developed to simultaneously detect two fluctuant wound parameters, pH and glucose level, to monitor the diabetic wound status. A pH indicator dye (phenol red) and two glucose sensing enzymes, glucose oxidase (GOx) and horseradish peroxidase (HRP), are encapsulated in the anti‐biofouling and biocompatible zwitterionic poly‐carboxybetaine (PCB) hydrogel matrix. The visible images are collected by a smartphone and transformed into RGB signals to quantify the wound parameters. Results show that the activity and stability of both two enzymes are improved within PCB hydrogel, and the Kcat/Km value of PCB‐HRP is ≈5.5 fold of free HRP in artificial wound exudate. This novel wound dressing can successfully monitor the pH range of 4–8 and glucose level of 0.1–10 × 10?3 m . Meanwhile, it also provides a moist healing environment that can promote diabetic wound healing. This multifunctional wound dressing may open vistas in chronic wound management and guide the diabetes treatment in clinical applications. 相似文献

Fourteen hull‐less barley cultivars, collected from four major cultivated areas in China, were employed to investigate the structural and physicochemical properties of their starches in this study. Relatively wide variations in physicochemical properties of the starches were observed. Amylose content ranged from 23.1% to 30.0%, swelling power and water solubility index ranged from 12.8 to 19.9 g g?1 and 12.7% to 23.7% respectively. Peak viscosity was from 170 to 346 Rapid Visco Unit (RVU), peak temperature (Tp) of starch gelatinisation was from 55.6 to 61.8 °C and enthalpy of starch retrogradation ranged from 0.3 to 3.1 J g?1. Weight‐based chain‐length proportions of fa, fb1, fb2 and fb3 in amylopectins ranged from 21.65% to 24.95%, 44.48% to 49.44%, 15.56% to 17.19% and 9.83% to 16.66% respectively. Correlation analyses showed that amylose content was inversely related to pasting parameters and enthalpy of gelatinisation. Pasting properties and amylopectin structures were the most important parameters to differentiate starch properties among different hull‐less barley cultivars in this study. This paper presents an experimental investigation into slope failure during water-level drawdown using transparent soil. The internal characteristics of slope failure are not well-known due to the limitations of the techniques used in the experiments conducted to date. In this study, transparent soil is used to visualize the process of slope failure. We developed a water-level control system to implement simulation of the drawdown of the water level at various speeds and used a charge-coupled device camera to capture images during the entire slope failure process. Particle image velocimetry was used to measure the displacement of the sand particles and identify the sliding zones. The flow paths of the fluid inside the slope were illuminated using an organic dye. The results show that the slope failure process can be divided into two stages: surface and overall sliding. The overall sliding of the slope is caused by the gradual development of partial instability, and the failure mode is a cyclic failure. The slope angle is different above and below the water level during the process of sliding. In our experiments, the slope angle is about 20° above the water level, which is the same as the final stable slope angle, and about 35° below the water level, which is the same as the initial slope angle. This means that the drawdown influences the angle above the water level but has little influence on the angle below the water level. The results of this paper provide a better understanding of the physical behavior and failure mode of soil slopes caused by drawdowns near the coast. 相似文献

Reduction roasting with sodium sulfate followed by magnetic separation was investigated to utilize vanadium tailings with total iron grade of 54.90 wt% and TiO_2 content of 17.40 wt%. The results show that after reduction roasting–magnetic separation with sodium sulfate dosage of 2 wt% at roasting temperature of 1150 °C for roasting time of 120 min, metallic iron concentrate with total iron grade of 90.20 wt%, iron recovery rate of 97.56 % and TiO_2 content of 4.85 wt% is obtained and high-titanium slag with TiO_2 content of 57.31 wt% and TiO_2 recovery rate of 80.27 % is also obtained. The results show that sodium sulfate has a catalytic effect on the reduction of tailings in the novel process by thermodynamics, scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) and reacts with silica and alumina in the tailings to form sodium silicate and sodium aluminosilicate. Migration of elements and chemical reactions destroy the crystal structures of minerals and promote the reduction of vanadium tailings, resulting in that iron grains grow to large size so that metallic iron concentrate with high total iron grade and low TiO_2 content is obtained. 相似文献

In this study, in effort to improve the sliding wear resistance of gray cast iron under wet lubrication conditions, specimens with different bionic units were manufactured and modified according to bionic theory. Inspired by the structure and appearance of biological wear-resistant skin, two kinds of bionic units were processed by laser on the specimen surfaces. We investigated the wear resistance properties of the samples via indentation method and then observed the wear surface morphology of specimens and the stress distributions. The results indicated that coupling the bionic units enhanced the wear resistance of the cast iron considerably compared to the other samples. We also determined the mechanism of wear resistance improvement according to the results. 相似文献

Crack-free Sm-doped Bi2Ti2O7 (Sm:BTO) thin films with strong (111) orientation have been prepared on Pt (111) substrates using a chemical solution deposition (CSD) method. The structural properties and crystallizations were studied by X-ray diffraction. The surface morphology and quality were examined using atomic force microscopy (AFM). The insulating and dielectric properties were also evaluated at room temperature. The results demonstrate that the Sm:BTO films exhibit improved electrical performances as compared to the pure Bi2Ti2O7 thin films and suggest a strong potential for utilization in microelectronics devices. 相似文献
