We describe a low cost portable Holter design that can be implemented with off-the-shelf components. The recorder is battery powered and includes a graphical display and keyboard. Metal‐organic gels (MOGs) appear as a blooming alternative to well‐known metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs). Porosity of MOGs has a microstructural origin and not strictly crystalline like in MOFs; therefore, gelation may provide porosity to any metal‐organic system, including those with interesting properties but without a porous crystalline structure. The easy and straightforward shaping of MOGs contrasts with the need of binders for MOFs. In this contribution, a series of MOGs based on the assembly of 1D‐coordination polymer nanofibers of formula [M(DTA)]n (MII: Ni, Cu, Pd; DTA: dithiooxamidato) are reported, in which properties such as porosity, chemical inertness, mechanical robustness, and stimuli‐responsive electrical conductivity are brought together. The strength of the M? S bond confers an unusual chemical resistance, withstanding exposure to acids, alkalis, and mild oxidizing/reducing chemicals. Supercritical drying of MOGs provides ultralight metal‐organic aerogels (MOAs) with densities as low as 0.03 g cm?3 and plastic/brittle behavior depending on the nanofiber aspect ratio. Conductivity measurements reveal a semiconducting behavior (10?12 to 10?7 S cm?1 at 298 K) that can be improved by doping (10?5 S cm?1). Moreover, it must be stressed that conductivity of MOAs reversibly increases (up to 10?5 S cm?1) under the presence of acetic acid. 相似文献

To date, the majority of quality controls performed at PV plants are based on the measurement of a small sample of individual modules. Consequently, there is very little representative data on the real Standard Test Conditions (STC) power output values for PV generators. This paper presents the power output values for more than 1300 PV generators having a total installed power capacity of almost 15.3 MW. The values were obtained by the INGEPER‐UPNA group, in collaboration with the IES‐UPM, through a study to monitor the power output of a number of PV plants from 2006 to 2009. This work has made it possible to determine, amongst other things, the power dispersion that can be expected amongst generators made by different manufacturers, amongst generators made by the same manufacturer but comprising modules of different nameplate ratings and also amongst generators formed by modules with the same characteristics. The work also analyses the STC power output evolution over time in the course of this 4‐year study. The effects of carcass weight (<5.5 kg, 5.5–6.5 kg, ⩾6.5 kg) of Manchego suckling lambs, type of fat depot of the leg (subcutaneous, intermuscular and intramuscular) and muscle (m. longissimus dorsi (LD) or m. quadriceps femoris (QF)) on the fatty acid composition were studied. Carcass fatness increased with increasing carcass weight. However, few differences in fatty acid proportion were observed between the three carcass weight groups. The lightest carcasses had lower proportions of myristic (C14:0) and palmitoleic (C16:1) acid and higher proportions of stearic (C18:0) acid, desirable fatty acids (DFA) (C18:0 + total unsaturated fatty acid (TUFA)) and a greater nutritive value ((C18:0 + C18:1)/C16:0). The fatty acid composition of subcutaneous and intermuscular fat depots of the leg were similar, whereas the intramuscular fat depot was different from both of these, since it had a lower proportion of saturated fatty acids (SFA), a greater proportion of TUFA, higher PUFA/SFA and n − 6/n − 3 ratios, and greater DFA and nutritive values. The intramuscular fat of the LD was more saturated than QF, higher SFA, and had lower value of PUFA/SFA ratio and DFA. These results indicated that the intramuscular fat quality of the leg was better than subcutaneous and intermuscular fat depots and also that intramuscular fat displayed better attributes of quality (lower SFA, higher TUFA, and greater PUFA/SFA ratio and DFA as well) than intramuscular fat of the LD from the consumer health standpoint. Despite carcass weight affected carcass fatness, it did not seem to influence the proportions of saturated or polyunsaturated fatty acids. Edible coatings (ECs) are a thin layer of a mixture of edible materials, applied in the liquid state and dried over the surface of a food product to maintain its quality during storage. This work was aimed to study the effect of ECs made from wx corn starch (WCS) or acetylated cross‐linked starch (ACLS) added with beeswax on fresh raspberry quality attributes during short‐term cold storage. Freshly harvested fruits were coated, dried, packed in plastic trays and stored up to 8 days at 4°C. During storage quality parameters such as firmness, respiration rate, anthocyanins content, total phenols, color changes, and weight loss were evaluated. A clear effect on control of respiration rate was observed in coated raspberries. Respiration rate of uncoated fruit was 4.5 ± 0.28 mmol/kg/h and decreased to 4.2 ± 0.27 for ACLS and to 4.1 ± 0.08 mmol/kg/h for WCS‐coated raspberries, after 56 h of storage at 15°C. Ethylene production followed a similar trend under these conditions decreasing from 0.043 ± 0.005 to 0.034 ± 0.004 mmol/kg/h for uncoated and ACLS coated fruits, respectively, indicating an effect on ripening control. Additionally, ACLS and WCS coatings permitted the preservation of color without affecting anthocyanins content. However, the presence of anaerobic metabolites and reduction of terpenes production in cold stored coated raspberries indicated hypoxic conditions, which can adversely affect shelf‐life quality attributes of raspberries such as firmness and weight loss. 相似文献

Microoxygenation is a wine-making technique consisting in the addition of small and controlled amounts of oxygen. This study
has examined the effect of this technique on the volatile composition of two red single variety wines during two successive
vintages. The microoxygenation treatment was applied at the end of alcoholic fermentation and before beginning malolactic
fermentation. Once the microoxygenation treatment had finished, wines were aged in new American oak barrels for 12 months.
The results obtained showed that the microoxygenation treatment did not cause significant changes in the varietal and fermentation
volatile compounds, however microoxygenation slowed down the extraction of some of the volatile compounds extracted from wood.
A varietal and vintage effect was also observed for some of the compounds studied. 相似文献

Two distinct strategies were combined to preserve fresh fish (Merluccius merluccius) under refrigeration at 4 °C for 12 days: (i) the application of an antimicrobial edible coating enriched with oregano essential oil (OEO) or carvacrol (CV) and (ii) the reduction of initial microbial load by good handling practise and the use of sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl). The action of antimicrobial coatings alone retarded the growth of Enterobacteriaceae, lactic acid bacteria (LAB) and H2S producing bacteria on fish samples. The reduction of initial microbial load by itself only affected the evolution of LAB, but not the rest of the bacterial groups. When using both techniques combined, edible antimicrobial coatings were significantly more effective with additional and significant delays in the growth of mesophilic, psychrotrophic and Pseudomonas bacteria. Thus, the use of both strategies combined resulted in a reduction of the counts of all bacterial groups after 12 days of storage which ranged from 1.5 log and 8 log, in Pseudomonas and H2S producing bacteria, respectively. Moreover, no significant differences were observed when comparing the microbiological evolution of samples treated with OEO compared to those only treated with CV. 相似文献
