Predicting dynamic behaviours of a whole machine tool structure based on computer-aided engineering

A systematic procedure is proposed to predict the dynamic behaviours of a whole machine-tool structure. The prediction procedure makes use of a receptance synthesis method, in which the dynamic model is composed of the elements such as the distributed-mass beam, the lumped mass and the joint. As an example, the dynamic characteristics of a guideway joint are analysed through the use of the dynamic fundamental characteristic parameters of joint surfaces at unit area obtained by experiments. The software to predict the dynamic behaviours of a whole machining tool structure is developed based upon the procedure. To demonstrate the utility of the proposed procedure and the developed software, the dynamic modeling of a whole machining centre structure has been established and its natural frequencies are calculated by the software. The dynamic test for the whole machining centre showed that the procedure and the software is valid to predict dynamic behaviours of a whole machine-tool structure at its design stage.

陆海统筹背景下唐山市资源环境承载力综合评价

十八大以来,海洋产业在沿海地区发展中的作用日益显现,唐山市是一个非典型的沿海城市,海洋开发空间大,在陆海统筹背景下评价资源环境承载力对唐山市陆海统筹发展意义重大。本文以陆海统筹为背景,从资源、环境、社会经济三个角度构建唐山市资源环境承载力指标体系,利用层次分析法确定指标权重,定性、定量地评价唐山市及其沿海区县资源环境承载力。结果表明:2005～2016年唐山市资源环境承载力得分呈上升趋势,2016年得分75分约是2005年的2.6倍,得分年均增速达9.1%;5个沿海区县中,滦南县的承载力状况较优。根据评价结果,提出优化产业结构及提升海洋经济活力、打造沿海城市形象等建议,提升陆海统筹背景下唐山市资源环境承载力。     

Caveolin-1 Alleviates Acetaminophen—Induced Hepatotoxicity in Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease by Regulating the Ang II/EGFR/ERK Axis

Acetaminophen (APAP) is a widely used antipyretic analgesic which can lead to acute liver failure after overdoses. Chronic alcoholic fatty liver disease (AFLD) appears to enhance the risk and severity of APAP-induced liver injury, and the level of angiotensin II (Ang II) increased sharply at the same time. However, the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Caveolin-1 (CAV1) has been proven to have a protective effect on AFLD. This study aimed to examine whether CAV1 can protect the APAP-induced hepatotoxicity of AFLD by affecting Ang II or its related targets. In vivo, the AFLD model was established according to the chronic-plus-binge ethanol model. Liver injury and hepatic lipid accumulation level were determined. The levels of Angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2), Ang II, CAV1, and other relevant proteins were evaluated by western blotting. In vitro, L02 cells were treated with alcohol and oleic acid mixture and APAP. CAV1 and ACE2 expression was downregulated in APAP-treated AFLD mice compared to APAP-treated mice. The overexpression of CAV1 in mice and L02 cells alleviated APAP-induced hepatotoxicity in AFLD and downregulated Ang II, p-EGFR/EGFR and P-ERK/ERK expression. Immunofluorescence experiments revealed interactions between CAV1, Ang II, and EGFR. The application of losartan (an Ang II receptor antagonist) and PD98059 (an ERK1/2 inhibitor) alleviated APAP-induced hepatotoxicity in AFLD. In conclusion, our findings verified that CAV1 alleviates APAP-aggravated hepatotoxicity in AFLD by downregulating the Ang II /EGFR/ERK axis, which could be a novel therapeutic target for its prevention or treatment.     

Effect of an abrupt change in pulling rate on microstructures of directionally solidified Al2O3-Er3Al5O12 eutectic and off-eutectic composite ceramics

Directionally solidified microstructures of Al₂O₃-Er₃Al₅O₁₂ eutectic and off-eutectic in situ composite ceramics were explored under abrupt-change pulling rate conditions. Corresponding temperature distributions and interface locations were studied. In eutectic composition, fluctuation of eutectic spacing occurred when the pulling rate increased abruptly. A gradually increase or abrupt increase in eutectic spacing was observed when the pulling rate decreased abruptly. In hypoeutectic and hypereutectic compositions, formation of the primary phases were suppressed when the pulling rate increased abruptly from 10?µm/s to 100?µm/s, while primary phases precipitated when the pulling rate decreased abruptly from 100?µm/s to 10?µm/s. The interface altitude decreased after the pulling rate increased abruptly, but increased after the pulling rate decreased abruptly. The liquid composition restriction (around the eutectic composition) at the eutectic interface plays an important role in the suppression of the primary dendrite and coupled eutectic oxides can be obtained in off-eutectic compositions even under higher solidification rate conditions.
