The aim of this review is to present and discuss the research work reported in the literature on the use of glutamic acid and its derivatives as corrosion inhibitors for metals in different aggressive solutions. Mass loss and electrochemical techniques were among the most often used techniques to evaluate the corrosion inhibition efficiency of the used inhibitor. Glutamic acid can act as an efficient corrosion inhibitor, but it can in other cases show an opposite effect, which accelerates the corrosion process; all depend on the experimental conditions. Highest values of inhibition efficiency were obtained in the presence of ions as Zn2+ and ions halides. Glutamic acid derivatives have shown a good ability to use it as an effective corrosion inhibitor for metal in an acidic solution. The development of computational modeling helps to design new glutamic acid derivatives and to understand the inhibition mechanism of those compounds.  相似文献

The current paper talks about the variable speed wind turbine generation system (WTGS). So, the WTGS is equipped with a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) and two bidirectional converters in the rotor open circuit. A vector control (VC) of the rotor side converter (RSC) offers independent regulation of the stator active and reactive power and the optimal rotational speed tracking in the power maximization operating mode. A VC scheme for the grid-side converter (GSC) allows an independent regulation of the active and reactive power to exchange with the grid and sinusoidal supply currents and keeps the DC-link voltage constant. A fuzzy inference system (FIS) is adopted as an alternative of the conventional proportional and integral (PI) controller to reject some uncertainties or disturbance. The performances have been verified using the Matlab/Simulink software.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to improve the control performance of the variable speed, constant frequency doubly-fed induction generator in the wind turbine generation system by using fuzzy logic controllers. The control of the rotor-side converter is realized by stator flux oriented control, whereas the control of the grid-side converter is performed by a control strategy based on grid voltage orientation to maintain the DC-link voltage stability. An intelligent fuzzy inference system is proposed as an alternative of the conventional proportional and integral (PI) controller to overcome any disturbance, such as fast wind speed variation, short grid voltage fault, parameter variations and so on. Five fuzzy logic controllers are used in the rotor side converter (RSC) for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm, active and reactive power control loops, and another two fuzzy logic controllers for direct and quadratic rotor currents components control loops. The performances have been tested on 1.5 MW doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) in a Matlab/Simulink software environment.  相似文献

Abstract

Joint detection and estimation refers to deciding between two or more hypotheses and, depending on the test outcome, simultaneously estimating the unknown parameters of the underlying distribution. This problem is investigated in a sequential framework under mild assumptions on the underlying random process. We formulate an unconstrained sequential decision problem, whose cost function is the weighted sum of the expected run-length and the detection/estimation errors. Then, a strong connection between the derivatives of the cost function with respect to the weights, which can be interpreted as Lagrange multipliers, and the detection/estimation errors of the underlying scheme is shown. This property is used to characterize the solution of a closely related sequential decision problem, whose objective function is the expected run-length under constraints on the average detection/estimation errors. We show that the solution of the constrained problem coincides with the solution of the unconstrained problem with suitably chosen weights. These weights are characterized as the solution of a linear program, which can be solved using efficient off-the-shelf solvers. The theoretical results are illustrated with two example problems, for which optimal sequential schemes are designed numerically and whose performance is validated via Monte Carlo simulations.  相似文献

First-principles electronic structure calculations have been performed for defect structures in nonstoichiometric B2 AlCo and GaCo. To determine the type of constitutional defects, the compositional dependence of the energy of formation and lattice parameter was obtained by calculations employing supercells of various sizes (16 and 32 atoms) as well as special quasirandom structures (SQSs) developed for random pseudobinary A1?x B x C with compositions x = 0.25 and 0.5. According to the results, Co vacancies are the constitutional point defects in the Al-rich side of both B2 AlCo and B2 GaCo, while Co vacancies present the minimum energy for the Ga-rich side. For the Co-rich side of both B2 AlCo and B2 GaCo, the Co antisite is the most stable defect. To investigate the thermal defect concentrations at finite temperature, we adopted the Wagner–Schottky model using enthalpies of formation of point defects obtained from the SQS approach. The present results suggest that the predominant thermal defects in AlCo are of complex type whereas for GaCo they are of interbranche Co type. The results of these calculations show agreement with available theoretical and experimental data.  相似文献

The genetic map in the region of human chromosome 5 that harbors the gene for autosomal recessive forms of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) has been refined by a multilocus linkage study in 50 SMA-segregating families. Among six markers spanning 8 cM for combined sexes, four were shown to be tightly linked to the SMA locus. Multipoint linkage analysis was used to establish the best estimate of the SMA gene location. Our data suggest that the most likely location for the SMA locus is between blocks AFM114ye7 (D5S465)/EF5.15 (D5S125) and MAP-1B/JK53 (D5S112) at a sex-combined genetic distance of 2.4 and 1.7 cM, respectively. Thus the SMA gene lies in the 4-cM region between these two blocks. This information is of primary importance for designing strategies for isolating the SMA gene.  相似文献

In patients with slowly progressive spastic paraparesis, the differential diagnosis of primary progressive multiple sclerosis (PPMS) and hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP) can be challenging. Serum neurofilament light chain (sNfL) and glial fibrillary acidic protein (sGFAP) are promising fluid biomarkers to support the diagnostic workup. Serum NfL is a marker of neuroaxonal decay sensitive to temporal changes, while elevated sGFAP levels may reflect astrocytal involvement in PPMS. We assessed sNfL and sGFAP levels in 25 patients with PPMS, 25 patients with SPG4 (the most common type of HSP) and 60 controls, using the highly sensitive single-molecule array (Simoa) platform. Patients were matched in age, sex, age at onset, disease duration and disease severity. Serum NfL levels were significantly increased in PPMS compared to SPG4 (p = 0.041, partial η² = 0.088), and there was a trend toward relatively higher sGFAP levels in PPMS (p = 0.097). However, due to overlapping biomarker values in both groups, we did not find sNfL and sGFAP to be useful as differential biomarkers in our cohort. The temporal dynamics indicate sNfL and sGFAP levels are most markedly elevated in PPMS in earlier disease stages, supporting their investigation in this group most in need of a diagnostic biomarker.  相似文献

Four different types of solar cells prepared in different laboratories have been characterized by impedance spectroscopy (IS): thin-film CdS/CdTe devices, an extremely thin absorber (eta) solar cell made with microporous TiO2/In(OH)xSy/PbS/PEDOT, an eta-solar cell of nanowire ZnO/CdSe/CuSCN, and a solid-state dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) with Spiro-OMeTAD as the transparent hole conductor. A negative capacitance behavior has been observed in all of them at high forward bias, independent of material type (organic and inorganic), configuration, and geometry of the cells studied. The experiments suggest a universality of the underlying phenomenon giving rise to this effect in a broad range of solar cell devices. An equivalent circuit model is suggested to explain the impedance and capacitance spectra, with an inductive recombination pathway that is activated at forward bias. The deleterious effect of negative capacitance on the device performance is discussed, by comparison of the results obtained for a conventional monocrystalline Si solar cell showing the positive chemical capacitance expected in the ideal IS model of a solar cell.  相似文献

The nucleation and formation of oxide film in unidirectional dry sliding contact has been studied in a vacuum chamber with and without the application of a magnetic field in the intention of identifying the role of magnetic intensity on the oxidation wear. The wear tests of the steel AISI 1045/steel AISI 1045 couple are investigated on a pin‐disc configuration under three various gas environments: in ambient air, under oxygen at 105 Pa and in vacuum at 5.10−5 Pa. The formation of oxide layer strongly depends on oxygen partial pressure and magnetic field intensity. These took the form of protective raised ‘islands’ of compacted debris which is developed gradually but rapidly increased as the oxygen partial pressure is increased and which could persist for extended periods during subsequent evacuation. Evidence from various experimental techniques indicates that the compacted debris is a mixture of iron oxides in the form of oxide‐covered particles, although the depth of oxide film has not yet been fully elucidated.
