In situ one-step chemical synthesis route for the preparation of a gold–polyaniline composite in nanopores of polycarbonate (PC) membrane is reported. PC membrane, which was placed in a specially designed two-compartment cell, separated the aqueous solution of aniline from HAuCl4 solution. Concentration gradient across the membrane caused movement of AuCl4 and anilinium ions in the pores of polycarbonate membrane. Nanopores in PC membrane acted as reaction vessels where aniline and HAuCl4 were allowed to mix together, and the redox reaction between aniline and HAuCl4 led to the formation of gold–polyaniline composite. The gold–polyaniline composite in PC membrane was characterised by EDXRF, XRD, UV–Vis spectroscopy, FTIR and TEM. Peak broadening in XRD suggests that Au particles formed in the membrane are nanocrystallites and average crystallite size is (24 ± 4) nm. TEM studies show that gold nanoparticles are randomly dispersed in polyaniline clusters formed in the nanopores of PC membrane. Characterisation results show that the surfaces of the PC membrane exposed to HAuCl4 and aniline have significantly higher concentrations of Au nanoparticles and polyaniline, respectively.  相似文献

Starches from nine Indian wheat lines were evaluated to study the relationships between physicochemical and rheological properties. Large granules (>15 μm) were present in the highest proportion followed by medium (5–15 μm) and small granules (<5 μm). Amylose content ranged between 27.4 and 37.2%. Starch with the highest proportion of large granules (68.9%) showed higher values of G′peak (576 Pa) and G′final (432 Pa). Amylose content showed positive relationships with retrogradation, gel firmness, gumminess and adhesiveness while negative with springiness. Cooked starch pastes with the highest amylose content (37.2%) had higher ΔHret (0.88 J g?1), G′ret (361 Pa), adhesiveness (1.48 Ns), firmness (0.45 N) gumminess (0.22 N) and the lowest springiness (0.88). Amylose–lipid complex (AML) dissociation showed negative relations with swelling power, G′peak, G′breakdown and breakdown viscosity (r = ?0.779, ?0.66, ?0.771 & ?0.775, respectively, P < 0.05) while positive relationship with pasting temperature (r = 0.775, P < 0.05).  相似文献

A stability indicating assay method based on highperformance liquid chromatography has been developed for the quantitation of hydrochlorothiazide in combination with methyldopa and propranolol hydrochloride. The method is accurate, reproducible and precise with an average percent relative standard deviation of 1.3. The method can also be used for the quantitation of the only known impurity/decomposition product (4-amino, 6 chloro, 1,3 benzenedisulfonamide) in hydrochlorothiazide. For the complete separation of methyldopa from hydrochlorothiazide, a counterion, 1-heptanesulfonic acid sodium was added to the mobile phase to increase the retention time of methyldopa. A 4-5 minutes time to extract hydrochlorothiazide from tablets appears to be satisfactory.  相似文献

This paper deals with MTTF and availability analysis of a two-state complex general repairable system consisting of two units arranged in parallel. Single service facility is available for the service of unit failure. The failure and repair times for the system follow exponential and general distributions respectively. Laplace-transforms of the various state probabilities have been derived and steady state behaviour of the system has also been examined. Availability at any time is obtained by the inversion process. To make the system more compatible with the physical situation, MTTF for the system has also been evaluated and various graphs have been plotted to highlight the utility of the model.  相似文献

Ti-6A1-4V was surface alloyed with carbon using gas tungsten arc. Microstructural studies on scanning electron microscope showed that in the alloyed layer a cellular/dendritic phase was distributed in the matrix having an acicular structure. Analysis of the alloyed layer showed an average overall increase of 1.45 wt% in the carbon content. X-ray diffraction studies confirmed the presence of TiC in the alloyed zone. Electron probe microanalysis revealed that the cellular/dendritic phase was rich in carbon and had about 15 wt% carbon, whereas the matrix was depleted in carbon. We concluded from the detailed studies that the alloyed zone matrix was supersaturated with carbon in which TiC was distributed. As a result of this surface treatment, the alloyed layer hardness increased from 350 to 640 HV.  相似文献
