Binary decision diagrams (BDDs) are the most frequently used data structure for the representation and handling of Boolean functions because of their excellent time and space efficiencies. In this article, a reversed BDD‐based pass transistor logic (PTL) logic synthesis is presented for low‐power and high‐performance circuits without exploiting the canonical property of BDDs. The procedure of the reversed BDD transformation into PTL is achieved by a one‐to‐one correspondence with the BDD node and PTL cell. Layouts are generated for the benchmark circuits and simulated in terms of power dissipation, propagation delay and area. The reversed BDD technique performs better in terms of area, delay and power dissipation due to the regularity, a reduced critical path, less interconnection wires, a multiplexer‐based construction of PTL circuits, and less switching activities. A compact model is proposed to derive the charge density of the AlInSb/InSb HEMT devices by considering the variation of Fermi level, the first subband, the second subband and sheet carrier charge density with applied gate voltage. The proposed model considers the Fermi level dependence of charge density and vice versa. The analytical results generated by the proposed model are compared and they agree well with the experimental results. The developed model can be used to implement a physics based compact model for an InSb HEMT device in SPICE applications.  相似文献

Large deployment of Electric Vehicles (EVs) adds new challenges in the operation of a microgrid. Assuming that a number of EV owners allow their batteries to charge when their cars are parked, this paper proposes an approach that aims to find suitable individual active power set-points corresponding to the hourly charging rate of each EV battery connected to the microgrid. A multi agent system based controller is designed to find these active power set points for optimal power management of EVs, distributed energy resources in the microgrid, and the loads.  相似文献

This paper presents a new systolic algorithm for thecompletesolution of a system ofNlinear equations in (N2/2 +O(N)) time steps using 2Nprocessing elements (PEs). It is based on a variant of the Gaussian elimination (GE) algorithm called the successive GE and is faster than any existing GE based algorithm usingO(N) PEs. We also suggest two fault tolerant schemes that tolerate up toNPE failures. The first scheme is a time redundancy based approach with no hardware overhead and 100% time overhead. This scheme can tolerate up toNPE failures. The second scheme is based on algorithm based fault tolerance (ABFT) and usesNextra PEs to tolerate up toN− 1 PE failures with very little time overhead. The number of errors that can be detected/corrected in both schemes is more than that in any existing fault tolerant systolic array.  相似文献

In this paper, a compact, single-section, Ultra-wideband (UWB) coupled-line coupler designed using concentric loop in the signal plane and defect in the ground plane is presented. Bandwidth enhancement is achieved with low coupling at the X-band satellite downlink range to improve the signal strength for defence applications. Return loss greater than 15 dB and isolation greater than 20 dB is achieved over the entire UWB band. The prototype is fabricated and tested to validate the simulation results. Further to detect the quality of the output signal, signal integrity analysis is performed and metrics such as error vector magnitude (EVM), magnitude and phase error, eye pattern, constellation plots and signal to noise ratio are presented for the proposed UWB coupled-line coupler.  相似文献

Face recognition and classification have gained increasing attraction in the recent decades due to their widespread adoption in real time application systems. Most of the conventional research efforts focused on developing face recognition frameworks using enhanced optimization-based classification methods, they are hampered by issues such as computational complexity, increased overhead, limited capacity to handle large datasets, and lengthy processing time. The novel contribution of this paper is to develop a highly competent and precise face recognition methodology through an innovative mechanism. In this framework, the initial step involves face detection from input images using an analytical face parts detection methodology. Subsequently, the tutor face filtering (TFF) technique is applied to preprocess the face image, enhancing its quality and filtering out noise content. Following this preprocessing step, features are extracted from the processed image using the direction-based pattern extraction (DBPE) model. To improve classifier accuracy, a novel adaptive gravitational search optimization (AGSO) technique is employed to select the optimal features during model training. Finally, an integrated deep learning model, referred to as convolutional neural network — long short-term memory (LSTM), is utilized for accurate face image recognition based on the selected optimal features. To assess and compare the system's performance, various metrics are employed in the results analysis to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed approach.  相似文献

A method for real-time implementation of any two-level three-phase pulse-width-modulator (PWM) invertor waveform is discussed. The hardware and software of the scheme are built around the 16 b 8086 microprocessor and its peripherals, with a few additional digital ICs. The suggested scheme realizes the PWM waveforms without harmonic distortion. The implementation procedure is a universal one and it generates in real time any two-level three-phase PWM waveform with the chosen hardware structure.
