Steady state experiments like Wendelstein 7-X have to deal with large amounts of data of different kind. Discharge lengths may last from less than a second up to 30 min. During this time diagnostics will measure data in different discharge phases with different rates depending on the physical program. Furthermore the technical configuration of all devices must be logged during the discharge as well as between experiment phases. This is necessary to allow supervision of constantly running devices. All measured data must be stored together in a common database to make it easily accessible and reduce the effort to combine data. Because of these requirements a continuous data acquisition system must be provided where data may exist at any time. Intelligent methods for browsing and retrieval of the acquired data from the common database are desired. This includes calendar-based time interval selection, overview plots for intervals that cover several days and online views of the last stored data. The contribution will explain the challenges and the advantages induced by this kind of data access methods. Existing and planned solutions for Wendelstein 7-X will be depicted. Particularly the “Data Browser” – a graphical tool specially designed to fulfil these tasks at W7-X – will be presented.  相似文献

Ambient pressure X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (APXPS) experiments narrow the pressure and materials gaps between UHV surface science experiments and applications. Upon closing these gaps, ambiguity can enter the analysis of the spectra due to overlapping peaks from different elements or functional groups of both the sample and the gas phase. Additionally, reaction intermediates and mechanisms are often inaccessible from interpretation of APXPS data alone. In many cases, these issues can be overcome with the aid of density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Here, we outline our process of combining DFT calculations with APXPS experiments by describing our recent investigations of the adsorption of dimethyl methylphosphonate (DMMP) on MoO3 and CuO. We begin by showing the importance of the characterization of the isolated gas phase molecule before adsorption onto a surface. In particular, strong agreement between theory and experiment helps identify plausible decomposition pathways of the isolated molecule and provides a baseline for interpretation of spectra showing evidence of DMMP interaction with surfaces. The intact adsorption of DMMP on MoO3 offers an illustration of how moving beyond pristine single crystalline surfaces in calculations can enable better modeling of experimental trends that result from surface defects. Studies of DMMP adsorption on CuO exemplify the powerful synergy of APXPS combined with DFT for elucidation of complex reaction mechanisms on surfaces.  相似文献

Septic sacroiliitis is an uncommon disease and is rarely reported as a complication of acupuncture. We present a case of unilateral septic sarcoiliitis, which developed as a complication of acupuncture because of failure to sterilise the skin properly before treatment. Bone scan and computed tomography were positive for sacroiliitis. After a course of antibiotics with oxacillin for 6 weeks, the condition was completely improved. This case report stresses the importance of sterilisation procedures before acupuncture therapy.  相似文献

Extant historical scholarship in the Jungian literature and the Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) literature does not provide a complete picture of the treatment of Rowland Hazard by C. G. Jung, an analysis that AA co-founder Bill Wilson claimed was integral to the foundation of AA in theory and practice. Wilson's original report resulted in archivists and historians incorrectly calibrating their searches to the wrong date. The current work definitively solves the mystery of the timing of Hazard's treatment with Jung by placing his preliminary analysis with Jung in the year 1926, rather than 1930 or 1931. Previously unexamined correspondence originating from Jung, Hazard, his cousin Leonard Bacon, his uncle Irving Fisher, and his aunt Margaret Hazard Fisher is supplemented by relevant primary and secondary source material.
