Different approaches have been used to convert the waste materials into a clean syngas or other chemicals such as methanol. Among them, pyrolysis is a good candidate to produce the synthesis gas and volatile matters for industrial and refinery applications. In this work, we studied the kinetic and chemical behavior of three Iranian waste oils through a kinetic model and an experimental study. The experiments carried out in a micro-FB reactor, which is a good option for low emissions. Results showed that the reaction temperature and reaction rate are two of the most important factors for maximum conversion level of fuel. Results also showed an optimum value for reaction rate. Cobalt-doped Zinc sulfide (ZnS) nanoparticles were prepared by a simple chemical method using alkyl hydroxyl ethyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (YH) as capping agent. The structural and optical properties of prepared cobalt-doped ZnS nanoparticles have been characterized. X-ray diffraction patterns and transmission electron microscope images reveal pure cubic ZnS phase with size of about 5–2 nm for all cobalt-doped ZnS nanoparticles. The lattice constant of the samples decreases slightly by the introduction of Co2+ The absorption edge of the ZnS:Co2+ nanoparticles is blue-shifted as compared with that of bulk ZnS, indicating the quantum confinement effect. The photoluminescence emission band exhibits a blue shift for Co-doped ZnS nanoparticles as compared to the ZnS nanoparticles. 相似文献

The effects of doping of MgAl2O4 by a binary mixture of Co and Zn ions on the absorbance, electrical resistivity, capacitance, thermal conductivity, heat capacity and thermal diffusivity are reported in this paper. The materials with the nominal composition Mg1−2x(Co,Zn)xAl2O4 (x = 0.0-0.5) are synthesized by solution combustion synthesis assisted by microwave irradiation. The substituted spinels are produced with a Scherrer crystallite size of 18-23 nm, as opposed to 45 nm for undoped samples, indicated by X-ray diffraction and confirmed by transmission electron microscopy. These materials also show better thermal stability in the temperature range of 298-1773 K. Three strong absorption bands at 536, 577 and 630 nm are observed for the doped samples which are attributed to the three spin allowed (4A2 (F) → 4T1 (P)) electronic transitions of Co2+ at tetrahedral lattice sites while pure magnesium aluminate remains transparent in the whole spectral range. The semiconducting behavior of the materials is evident from the temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity. Resistivity and activation energy are higher for the substituted samples. Fitting of the resistivity data is achieved according to the hopping polaron model of solids. Both dielectric constant and loss increase on account of doping. The dielectric data are explained on the basis of space charge polarization. The thermal conductivity and diffusivity are lowered and the heat capacity is increased in the doped materials. Wiedemann-Franz's law is used to compute the electronic and lattice contributions towards the total thermal conductivity. 相似文献

Polyamide-b-ethylene (Pebax) is a promising material for membrane-based gas separation application with excellent CO2 capturing potential. Pebax is a rubbery elastomer which offers good mechanical support with its hard crystalline phase and excellent gas transport through its amorphous polyether phase. This review article includes recent advances in Pebax based membrane synthesis, solvent selection for membrane synthesis, compatible fillers with Pebax matrix and the improved gas separation performance of the prepared membranes. The literature review shows that Pebax based membranes are a good candidate for separation of CO2 from flue gases and can be used for commercial applications. 相似文献

17Beta-trenbolone acetate (TBA) is a synthetic androgenic steroid hormone administered as a subcutaneous implant for growth promotion in beef cattle. TBA is converted metabolically to primarily 17alpha-trenbolone and trendione, and excreted in manure from implanted cattle. To predict the persistence of synthetic androgens once land-applied, aerobic degradation rates in two contrasting agricultural soil types (clay loam and a sandy soil) of both trenbolone isomers (17alpha and 17beta) and their primary metabolite trendione were measured and isomer interconversion was assessed. The impact of manure application was also evaluated in the clay loam soil. A pseudo first-order exponential decay model was derived assuming irreversible transformation and no impact of sorption on availability for degradation. The model generally resulted in good fits to the data. Both isomers degraded to trendione in a similar manner with half-lives (t1/2) on the order of a few hours to 0.5 days at applied concentrations of < or = 1 mg/kg. Similar degradation rates were observed in the presence and absence of manure applied at rates typical for land-application of cattle manure. Trenbolone degradation was concentration-dependent with degradation rates decreasing with increasing applied concentrations. Trendione, whether applied directly or produced from trenbolone, persisted longer than trenbolone with t1/2 values of 1 to 4 days. A small amount (1.5%) of conversion of trendione back to 17beta-trenbolone was observed during aerobic incubation regardless of the applied concentration. A small amount of 17alpha-isomer also converted back to 17beta-trenbolone, presumably through trendione. In autoclaved soils, no degradation of 17alpha- or 17beta-trenbolone was observed during the first 3 days, and trendione degradation was relatively small compared to a microbially active soil. 相似文献
