The overall non-isothermal crystallization kinetics for nucleated and non-nucleated isotactic polypropylene (iPP) in dotriacontane systems was investigated. Adipic acid was used as the nucleating agent. Crystallization peak temperature was determined via differential scanning calorimetry as a function of the experimentally controlled variables iPP concentration, cooling rate, and nucleating agent concentration. The influence of these variables on crystallization mechanism and spherulitic structure as implied by the Ozawa and Ziabicki analyses was determined. The non-isothermal crystallization kinetics presented here are the first for iPP-diluent systems with and without nucleating agent. 相似文献

Shape and size of the synthesized NiO nano-sheets were retained during transformation of sheet-like β-Ni(OH)2 to NiO at elevated temperatures via nano-sized zirconia coating on the surface of β-Ni(OH)2. The average grain size was 6.42 nm after 600 °C treatment and slightly increased to 10 nm after 1000 °C treatment, showing

The simple criterion proposed by Chandnani and Epstein (1984, 1986) for stable spouting, dor/dp ≤ 25.4, is shown to give a good separation between gas-solid systems which form permanent jets and those that bubble, for a wide range of experimental data reported in the literature. Summary A water insoluble azo-containing polyelectrolyte (PEAPB6P-AC) was successfully fabricated into multilayer films based on the layer-by-layer adsorption technique by using N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF) as the assembling media. The multilayer growth and structure were studied with UV-vis spectroscopy, and the multilayer surface were imaged with Atomic Force Microscopy and compared with that fabricated in water. The results show that assembling PEAPB6P-AC in DMF can effectively eliminate the hydrophobic aggregation of the azo units and consequently results in a much smoother multilayer surface than that fabricated in water. This improvement to the layer-by-layer adsorption technique, which can avoid some major difficulties faced when assembling hydrophobic polyelectrolytes in aqueous solutions, seems to be a versatile way to fabricate high quality multilayer films when using the hydrophobic even water-insoluble polyelectrolytes as assembling units. 相似文献

Abstract. In this paper the problems of parameter estimation and order determination of an exponential (EX) model are studied in the time domain. In order to estimate the parameters, the parameter equations of an EX model are given in terms of the autocorrelation function, which is similar to the Yule-Walker equations of an autoregressive moving-average model. Estimates of parameters are obtained with the aid of the parameter equations and theorems are proved relating the convergence rate and asymptotic distribution of the estimates. to those of commercial C-36 dimer acid-based polyamides for bonding leather and metals and somewhat superior to those of polyamides
