Reputation systems are fundamental for assessing the quality of user contributions in participatory sensing. However, naively associating reputation scores to contributions allows adversaries to establish links between multiple contributions and thus de-anonymize users. We present the IncogniSense framework as a panacea to these privacy threats. IncogniSense utilizes periodic pseudonyms generated using blind signature and relies on reputation transfer between these pseudonyms. Simulations are used to analyze various reputation cloaking schemes that address the inherent trade-off between anonymity protection and loss in reputation. Our threat analysis confirms the robustness of IncogniSense and a prototype demonstrates that associated overheads are minimal.  相似文献

Recent advances in fully three-dimensional reconstruction for multi-ring PET scanners have led us to explore the potential of a prototype scanner based on the rotation of two opposing arrays of BGO block detectors. The prototype contains only one-third of the number of detectors in the equivalent full ring scanner, resulting in reduced cost. With a lower energy threshold at 250 keV, the absolute efficiency of the scanner is 0.5% and the scatter fraction is 35% for a 20-cm cylinder. Transaxial and axial spatial resolution is about 6 mm. The maximum noise equivalent count rate estimated for a 15-cm diameter cylinder is 36,000 cps at a concentration of 26 kBq/ml. The minimum scan time for a 18F-fluoro-2-deoxyglucose (FDG) brain study is 55 sec. The camera has been validated for clinical applications using both FDG and 82Rb.  相似文献

Fluorescence anisotropy capillary electrophoresis (FACE) and affinity probe capillary electrophoresis (APCE) with laser-induced fluorescence detection were evaluated for analysis of peptide-protein interactions with rapid binding kinetics. The Src homology 2 domain of protein SH2-Bbeta (SH2-Bbeta (525-670)) and a tyrosine-phosphorylated peptide corresponding to the binding sequence of JAK2 were used as a model system. For peptide labeled with fluorescein, the K(d) = 82 +/- 7 nM as measured by fluorescence anisotropy (FA). APCE assays had a limit of detection (LOD) of 100 nM or 12 amol injected for SH2-Bbeta (525-670). The separation time of 4 s, achieved using an electric field of 2860 V/cm on 7-cm-long capillaries, was on the same time scale as complex dissociation allowing K(d) (101 +/- 12 nM in good agreement with FA measurements) and dissociation rate (k(off) = 0.95 +/- 0.02 s(-)(1) corresponding to a half-life of 0.73 s) to be determined. This measurement represents a 30-fold higher rate of complex dissociation than what had previously been measurable by nonequilibrium CE analysis of equilibrium mixtures. Using FACE, the protein was detected with an LOD of 300 nM or 7.5 fmol injected. FACE was not used for determining K(d) or k(off); however, this method provided better separation resolution for multiple forms of the protein than APCE. Both methods were found suitable for analysis of cell lysate. These results demonstrate that FACE and APCE may be useful complements to existing techniques for exploring binding interactions with rapid kinetics.  相似文献

The current work intended to enhance our knowledge of changes or lack of changes in the speech signal when people were being deceptive. In particular, the study attempted to investigate the appropriateness of using speech cues in detecting deception. Truthful, deceptive and control speech were elicited from ten speakers in an interview setting. The data were subjected to acoustic analysis and results are presented on a range of speech parameters including fundamental frequency (f0), overall amplitude and mean vowel formants F1, F2 and F3. A significant correlation could not be established between deceptiveness/truthfulness and any of the acoustic features examined. Directions for future work are highlighted.  相似文献

The energy of future neutral beam injector (NBI) heating systems of fusion power plants ranges from 1 to 2 MeV. They are based on powerful (several tens of MW) hydrogen negative ion electrostatic accelerators where electrodes are polarized by DC high-voltage. The beam line under vacuum is supplied by HV power supplies via a transmission line pressured under SF6 and a high voltage feedthrough called bushing. The paper presents results obtained over experimental campaigns dedicated to high voltage vacuum insulation for future NBI systems (ITER). It addresses the problematic of the electron field emission and the high voltage breakdown limit under vacuum between large electrode surfaces. The paper highlights the dependence of the electron emission (dark current) with the voltage and the background tank pressure: at low pressure (~1E?3 Pa in hydrogen), an important dark current of I  100 mA has been measured at 500 kV, while at higher pressure (~0.3 Pa in helium), the dark current has been nearly suppressed (less than 3 mA of dark current at 970 kV). The paper shows that a field induced gas adsorption process could occur on the emitting surfaces (cathode), and this process tends to lower the electron field emission current by increasing the work function of the electrode surface. The Fowler–Nordheim law applied to the measured dark current indicates about 70% of work function increase at 0.3 Pa in helium. Finally, a new high-voltage bushing concept relevant to the future NBI systems is presented; it is based on these experimental findings in high voltage vacuum insulation; the main feature of the new bushing concept is to take benefit of the field induced adsorption effect, i.e., the suppression of the dark current with helium gas, in the inner part of the bushing where the electric field intensity is highest.  相似文献

The sterol composition of free sterol and steryl ester fractions of the fish parasiteParatenuisentis ambiguus was determined. In addition, the fatty acid composition of various neutral lipid classes, i.e., wax esters, steryl esters, triacylglycerols and free fatty acids, as well as the composition of the 1-O-alkyl moieties of total ether glycerolipids of the parasite, were investigated. The results of these studies were compared with those obtained on the intestinal tract tissue of its host, the eel (Anguilla anguilla). Cholesterol is the major sterol in bothP. ambiguus andA. anguilla. However, the sterols ofP. ambiguus contain high proportions (>20%) of other sterols, such as campesterol and various dehydrosterols. [e.g., 7-dehydrocholesterol and cholesta-5,22(E)-dienol]. The presence of these minor sterols agrees with the known biotransformations of exogenous sterols in various helminths. Considerable differences are found in the fatty acid composition of neutral lipid fractions, as well as the total lipid extract from the endoparasite as compared to the host tissue. In particular, eicosapentaenoic acid (20∶5n−3), other polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as 20∶4n−6, 22∶5n−3 and 22∶6n−3, as well as long-chain saturated fatty acids, such as 20∶0, are generally enriched in the neutral lipid fractions of the parasite as compared to those of infected eel intestine. The analysis of ether glycerolipids revealed that 1-O-hexadecyl (16∶0) and 1-O-hexadecenyl (16∶1) moieties were present in similar proportions in the ether lipids of bothP. ambiguus and eel intestine, whereas 1-O-octadecyl (18∶0) moieties are more prominent in the parasite and 1-O-octadecenyl (18∶1) moieties in the eel. The results of these studies show thatP. ambiguus has specific mechanisms for the regulation of the sterol and fatty acid composition of its neutral lipids. Dedicated to Professor Helmut K. Animals and plants are increasingly threatened by emerging fungal and oomycete diseases. Amongst oomycetes, Saprolegnia species cause population declines in aquatic animals, especially fish and amphibians, resulting in significant perturbation in biodiversity, ecological balance and food security. Due to the prohibition of several chemical control agents, novel sustainable measures are required to control Saprolegnia infections in aquaculture. Previously, fungal community analysis by terminal restriction fragment length polymorphism (T-RFLP) revealed that the Ascomycota, specifically the genus Microdochium, was an abundant fungal phylum associated with salmon eggs from a commercial fish farm. Here, phylogenetic analyses showed that most fungal isolates obtained from salmon eggs were closely related to Microdochium lycopodinum/Microdochium phragmitis and Trichoderma viride species. Phylogenetic and quantitative PCR analyses showed both a quantitative and qualitative difference in Trichoderma population between diseased and healthy salmon eggs, which was not the case for the Microdochium population. In vitro antagonistic activity of the fungi against Saprolegnia diclina was isolate-dependent; for most Trichoderma isolates, the typical mycoparasitic coiling around and/or formation of papilla-like structures on S. diclina hyphae were observed. These results suggest that among the fungal community associated with salmon eggs, Trichoderma species may play a role in Saprolegnia suppression in aquaculture.  相似文献

Phosphorylated sulfonimidamides (SIAPhos) undergo ion exchange reactions with cationic complexes, [Rh(cod)2BF4] and [Ir(cod)2BarF], or neutral complexes [Rh(cod)Cl]2 and [Ir(cod)Cl]2, leading to unprecedented neutral complexes with P‐N‐S‐N chelates. Use of the resulting neutral iridium complexes in asymmetric hydrogenation reactions of tri‐ and tetrasubstituted enamides leads to products with high enantioselectivities (up to 92% ee).  相似文献

The integration of Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) through the creation of a Total Jobsite Management Tool (TJMT) can revolutionize the way contractors do business. The key to this integration is the collection and processing of real-time GPS data that is produced on the jobsite for use in project management applications. This paper establishes the state-of-practice of GPS data collection and utilization by heavy construction contractor companies in the United States and presents an implementation framework to assist construction contractor companies in navigating the terrain of GPS and ICT use. The proposed framework, at a macro level, outlines the required ICT infrastructure, addresses the organizational restructuring requirements, presents the related benefits and costs, and provides guidelines for successful implementation.  相似文献
