The dissolved iodine species that dominate aquatic systems are iodide, iodate and organo-iodine. These species may undergo transformation to one another and thus affect the formation of iodinated disinfection byproducts during disinfection of drinking waters or wastewater effluents. In this study, a fast, sensitive and accurate method for determining these iodine species in waters was developed by derivatizing iodide and iodate to organic iodine and measuring organic iodine with a total organic iodine (TOI) measurement approach. Within this method, organo-iodine was determined directly by TOI measurement; iodide was oxidized by monochloramine to hypoiodous acid and then hypoiodous acid reacted with phenol to form organic iodine, which was determined by TOI measurement; iodate was reduced by ascorbic acid to iodide and then determined as iodide. The quantitation limit of organo-iodine or sum of organo-iodine and iodide or sum of organo-iodine, iodide and iodate was 5 μg/L as I for a 40 mL water sample (or 2.5 μg/L as I for an 80 mL water sample, or 1.25 μg/L as I for a 160 mL water sample). This method was successfully applied to the determination of iodide, iodate and organo-iodine in a variety of water samples, including tap water, seawater, urine and wastewater. The recoveries of iodide, iodate and organo-iodine were 91–109%, 90–108% and 91–108%, respectively. The concentrations and distributions of iodine species in different water samples were obtained and compared.  相似文献

The 300 series stainless steels generally exhibit good corrosion resistance in common use. However, a premature fracture event caused by hydrogen embrittlement was encountered on 300 series stainless steels which was used as belt hanging chips in a tin plating process for the chip lead frame. The cause of the fracture was carefully studied. A metallurgical microscope and photoelectric direct reading spectrometer were used to examine the metallographic structures and chemical compositions of the matrix material. A scanning electron microscope and energy disperse spectroscope were also applied to analyze the micro morphologies and micro-area composition of the fracture. Meanwhile, the chemistry and hydrogen content of the process media were inspected by ion chromatography and hydrogen analyzer. In addition, the finite element method was employed to simulate the effect on the belt from the service conditions. The analysis results revealed that the unqualified material selection, the aggressive media, and the inappropriate technological parameters were the main causes of the failure. Furthermore, the mechanisms of hydrogen embrittlement were discussed, and countermeasures and suggestions were put forward.  相似文献

A stable self nano-aggregated bathocuproine film was fabricated and introduced atop of a conventional organic light emitting diode for enhancing top emission. It leads to a 2.7–2.1-fold enhancement on top emission at applied voltage from 4 to 9 V which is much larger than the 1.5–1.3-fold enhancement for a device overlaid with an amorphous bathocuproine film. The more effective outcoupling of this method probably arises from surface plasmon modes being scattered by only the nanostructured surface, and thus without phase cancellation, at the bathocuproine/air boundary. Moreover, this method nearly preserves the original electroluminescent spectra and has no damage on electrical properties.  相似文献

This paper deals with the method of how to regenerate the potential energy for a hybrid hydraulic excavator (HHE). After studying the structure and working cycle of the HHE, two energy regeneration systems are considered. Then, the control strategy and parameter matching for the proposed energy regeneration system (ERS) are discussed. United simulations with AMEsim and MATLAB/simulink for the conventional control system and two ERSs are carried out in this paper. An estimated 41% of the total potential energy could be regenerated at the lowering of the boom in accumulator-motor-generator system while the recovery efficiency in the motor-generator system is only about 17%, and it is also shown that the accumulator-motor-generator energy regeneration system (AMGERS) features better speed control of the boom and response characteristics than the motor-generator energy regeneration system (MGERS), hence, the AMGERS is a good configuration for the HHE at present.  相似文献

The selective oxidation of high Mn austenitic steel was investigated by transmission electron microscopy. The annealing resulted in a MnO surface layer and a Mn-depleted ferritic layer. At the MnO/steel interface, voids were formed between the a-xMnO.SiO2 and c-MnO.Al2O3 layers. This is the first time that void formation is observed during selective oxidation of steel. The Kirkendall voids grow and develop characteristic void surfaces because of the fast diffusion of MnO on the void surface.  相似文献

The discharging process of polyvinyl pyrrolidone electret under two different heating rates 3.5 and 2 °C/min has been investigated by the measurement of thermally stimulated depolarization current (TSDC) in the temperature range from 30 to 250 °C. The TSDC spectra of PVP shows three peaks located at 70 ± 10, 150 ± 10, and 230 ± 10 °C, respectively. When explaining the TSDC spectra, this thesis deduced that the first peak, β peak, originates from side group relaxation; the second peak, α peak, corresponds to the relaxation of the frozen dipoles on the molecule chain segments during glass transition; the third peak, ρ peak, is attributed to the detrapping of the trapped space charge under thermal stimulation. The current of the ρ peak is remarkably strong due to the fact that PVP molecules’ side groups—the pyrrolidone rings containing lactam structure—are strong polar groups which cause the great increase in the number of bulk traps, trapped space charge, as well as detrapped space charge under thermal stimulation.  相似文献
