Weighted interference cancellation is proposed to improve the post-decoding interference cancellation detector in a convolutionally coded CDMA system. A weight determination method is presented in which the estimated information bit error probability from the soft-output Viterbi algorithm is used. Generally, the NiO composite anode becomes porous after reduction. To infiltrate additional catalysts such as Pd into the NiO-composite anode before reducing NiO to Ni, a porous NiO composite anode for protonic ceramic fuel cells (PCFCs) was fabricated in this study. The porous NiO composite was fabricated by adding graphite as a pore former along with CuO as a sintering agent. The addition of graphite increased the porosity of the NiO composite anode but resulted in poor sinterability, which was addressed by adding CuO as a sintering agent to the NiO composite anode. The Pd catalyst was added to the NiO-composite anode before reducing NiO to Ni. The composite anode for PCFC with three components, namely Ni, protonic ceramics, and a Pd catalyst, was obtained by reducing NiO to Ni during the measurement. The addition of the Pd catalyst improved the anode performance in methane fuel and hydrogen fuel by enhancing the catalytic activity for the electrochemical reaction on the surface.  相似文献

Massive MIMO (also known as the “Large-Scale Antenna System”) enables a significant reduction of latency on the air interface with the use of a large excess of service-antennas over active terminals and time division duplex operation. For large-scale MIMO, several technical issues need to be addressed (e.g., pilot pattern design and low-antenna power transmission design) and theoretically addressed (e.g., channel estimation and power allocation schemes). In this paper, we analyze the ergodic spectral efficiency upper bound of a large-scale MIMO, and the key technologies including channel uplink detection. We also present new approaches for detection and power allocation. Assuming arbitrary antenna correlation and user distributions, we derive approximations of achievable rates with linear detection techniques, namely zero forcing, maximum ratio combining, minimum mean squared error (MMSE) and eigen-value decomposition power allocation (EVD-PA). While the approximations are tight in the large system limit with an infinitely large number of antennas and user terminals, they also match our simulations for realistic system dimensions. We further show that a simple EVD-PA detection scheme can achieve the same performance as MMSE with one order of magnitude fewer antennas in both uncorrelated and correlated fading channels. Our simulation results show that our proposal is a better detection scheme than the conventional scheme for LSAS. Also, we used two channel environment channels for further analysis of our algorithm: the Long Term Evolution Advanced channel and the Millimeter wave Mobile Broadband channel.

Effects of excess Te on the thermoelectric properties of p-type 25% Bi2Te3-75% Sb2Te3 single crystal and hot-pressed sinter were characterized and understood with the micro-phase diagram near the stoichiometric composition obtained by measuring the equilibrium Seebeck coefficient. Thermoelectric properties of the 25% Bi2Te3-75% Sb2Te3 single crystal were varied with the amount of excess Te, as -phase of the single crystal becomes less Te-deficient with adding more excess Te. However, thermoelectric properties of the hot-pressed sinter were not varied with the amount of excess Te, because the composition of -phase is not changed with the amount of excess Te. While a maximum figure-of-merit of 2.39 × 10–3/K at 300 K was obtained for the 25% Bi2Te3-75% Sb2Te3 single crystal by adding 6 wt % excess Te, the hot-pressed 25% Bi2Te3-75% Sb2Te3 sinter exhibited the figure-of-merit of 2.97 × 10–3/K regardless of the excess Te amount.  相似文献
