The capabilities of a multi-tethered aerostat positioning system are investigated using experimental and simulation results. The system consists of a platform supported by a helium-filled aerostat and attached to three anchored ground tethers actuated using computer-controlled winches. The experimental system was designed to perform a proof-of-concept study of a novel large-scale radio telescope requiring a receiver to be positioned accurately at an altitude of up to 500 m. Results from a series of flight tests are presented with a comparison between the passive response of the system and the response using proportional, integral, and derivative (PID) controllers with a position feedback. The motion of the platform is smaller for all cases using the feedback control. To improve on the PID results, a dynamics model of the system is used to develop and simulate optimal and feedforward (FF) control strategies. The optimal linear quadratic Gaussian (LQG) controller offers a 50% improvement over the PID controller, and both the LQG and the PID feedback controllers were shown to benefit considerably from the addition of a FF control term that exploits the measurements of the system's main disturbance force  相似文献

An application of mathematical programming in the industry selection step of strategic acquisition analysis is presented. Specifically, the management information uses of multiple-objective programming in the strategic planning of organization acquisitions are described. The modeling approach has application to all forms of organization-acquisition analysis (i.e. acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, etc.). An illustrative application of the modeling approach is presented using data from a regional conglomerate's actual acquisition study. The benefits of the use of the multiple-objective modeling approach include improvements in the efficacy and specificity of information on which acquisition decision making is based, and types of information that are not methodology  相似文献

针对现有船载雷达动态标校方法的不足,提出了一种基于星敏感器的船载雷达轴系误差标校方法。该方法以精确的星敏感器地平指向为比对基准,解算船载雷达的轴系误差。设计了基于星敏感器的船载雷达动态标校方案,分析了船摇测量误差对雷达测角精度的影响,推导了天线座垂向变形引起的雷达测角误差修正模型。根据测量目标的不同,分别建立了联合测星与跟踪目标时的船载雷达轴系误差分离模型。最后通过联合测星试验对轴系误差分离模型进行了验证。试验结果表明,利用动态标校成果修正后的船载雷达方位、俯仰系统残差分别为3”和9”,随机残差分别为40”和45”,满足雷达轴系误差标定要求,具有较高的实用价值。  相似文献

开发人员在根据通用仿真器方案开发所需在线仿真器时,由于受ICE机制中调试模块IP软核的限制,并没有一个完整的调试模块方案,使得开发周期加长、成本增加。针对基于FPGA的通用在线仿真器方案缺少调试模块详细设计方案的问题,采用自顶向下划分层次和自底向上模块单独设计相结合的方法,设计出具有调试模块的IPcore,并结合EM78P447S的IP软核,在Xilinx Spartan系列XC3S700AN开发板套件中进行了验证。  相似文献

One of the formidable challenges facing aprotic lithium‐oxygen (Li‐O2) batteries is the high charge overpotential, which induces the formation of byproducts, loss in efficiency, and poor cycling performance. Herein, the synthesis of the ultrasmall Pt‐coated hollow graphene nanocages as cathode in Li‐O2 batteries is reported. The charge voltage plateau can reduce to 3.2 V at the current density of 100 mA g?1, even maintain below 3.5 V when the current density increased to 500 mA g?1. The unique hollow graphene nanocages matrix can not only provide numerous nanoscale tri‐phase regions as active sites for efficient oxygen reduction, but also offer sufficient amount of mesoscale pores for rapid oxygen diffusion. Furthermore, with strong atomic‐level oxygen absorption into its subsurface, ultrasmall Pt catalytically serves as the nucleation site for Li2O2 growth. The Li2O2 is subsequently induced into a favorable form with small size and amorphous state, decomposed more easily during recharge. Meanwhile, the conductive hollow graphene substrate can enhance the catalytic activity of noble metal Pt catalysts due to the graphene‐metal interfacial interaction. Benefiting from the above synergistic effects between the hollow graphene nanocages and the nanosized Pt catalysts, the ultrasmall Pt‐decorated graphene nanocage cathode exhibits enhanced electrochemical performances.  相似文献

A software package, written in Pascal, whkh automates the shape management process associated with fitting prosthetic sockets to transtibial (below-knee) amputees, is described. The system allows an operator to apply global and piecewise transformations, based upon clinkal measurements, to a primitive socket database. These transformations yield a modified socket database which defines the surface shape of a positive socket mold over which an amputee's prosthetic socket is formed. The mold is replicated using a computer numerkally controled milling machine, with the final socket being formed over this mold by a specialized vacuum former. Preliminary clinical trials indkate that this automated approach to shape management yields comfortable prostheses, with savings in time and cost over the traditional methods of prosthesis manufacture.  相似文献

A new algorithm based on impedance plethysmography provides reliable determinations, on an experimental basis, of arterial blood pressure. Signals over the brachial artery are picked up by four Velcro-type electrodes attached to the skinward side of a regular blood pressure cuff. Mathematical formulas are used to define those impedance pulses that correspond to systolic, diastolic, and mean arterial blood pressure values. The envelope of the impedance pulses recorded during cuff deflation can be defined by linear regressions, function of just one normalized independent variable, which is the ratio between the amplitude of the pulse with maximum amplitude and of the amplitude of the pulses with constant amplitude. These linear regressions are assumed to be universally applicable, the influence of individual anatomic variations having been eliminated by the use of a normalized variable. The results of this study prove that the variable pulse amplitude obtained during a cuff deflation is a quantifiable reaction of the circulatory system to arterial constriction.  相似文献

Food fraud is an intentional act for economic gain. It poses a risk to food integrity, the economy, public health and consumers’ ethics. Seafood is one commodity which has endured extensive fraudulent activity owing to its increasing consumer demand, resource limitations, high value and complex supply chains. It is essential that these fraudulent opportunities are revealed, the risk is evaluated and countermeasures for mitigation are assigned. This can be achieved through mapping of the seafood supply chains and identifying the vulnerability analysis critical control points (VACCP), which can be exposed, infiltrated and exploited for fraudulent activity. This research systematically maps the seafood supply chain for three key commodities: finfish, shellfish and crustaceans in the United Kingdom. Each chain is comprised of multiple stakeholders across numerous countries producing a diverse range of products distributed globally. For each supply chain the prospect of fraud, with reference to species substitution, fishery substitution, illegal, unreported and unregulated substitution, species adulteration, chain of custody abuse, catch method fraud, undeclared product extension, modern day slavery and animal welfare, has been identified and evaluated. This mapping of the fraudulent opportunities within the supply chains provides a foundation to rank known and emerging risks and to develop a proactive mitigation plan which assigns control measures and responsibility where vulnerabilities exist. Further intelligence gathering and management of VACCPs of the seafood supply chains may deter currently unknown or unexposed fraudulent opportunities.  相似文献
