A high-performance and low-cost single-switch current-fed energy recovery circuit (ERC) for an alternating current (ac) plasma display panel (PDF) is proposed. Since it is composed of only one power switch compared with the conventional circuit consisting of four power switches and two large energy recovery capacitors, it features a much simpler structure and lower cost. Furthermore, since all power switches can be switched under soft-switching operation, the proposed circuit has desirable merits such as an increased reliability, and low switching loss. Especially, there are no serious voltage notches across the PDP with the aid of gas discharge current compensation, which can greatly reduce the current stress of all inverter switches, and provide those switches with the turn on timing margin. To confirm the validity of the proposed circuit, its operation and performance were verified on a prototype for 7-in test PDP. 相似文献

An efficient algorithm detecting the presence of a fetal QRS complex is presented. The proposed fetal QRS detection method computes the averaged magnitude of the difference between the fetal ECG signal and the reference signal to detect the fetal QRS event. The detected fetal QRS complexes are exponentially averaged to generate the template signal which can track the slowly varying shape of the fetal ECG signal. We report the effect of yellow Sr2SiO4:Eu2+ and green SrGa2S4:Eu2+ phosphors on the efficiency of organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells. Each phosphor was coated on the back side of indium tin oxide (ITO)/glass substrates by spin coating with poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA). The maximum absorption wavelength of the active layer in the OPV cells was ~512 nm. The emission peaks of Sr2SiO4:Eu2+ and SrGa2S4:Eu2+ were maximized at 552 nm and 534 nm, respectively. The short circuit current density (Jsc) and power conversion efficiency (PCE) of the OPV cells with Sr2SiO4:Eu2+ (8.55 mA/cm2 and 3.25%) and with SrGa2S4:Eu2+ (9.29 mA/cm2 and 3.3%) were higher than those of the control device without phosphor (7.605 mA/cm2 and 3.04%). We concluded that phosphor tuned the wavelength of the incident light to the absorption wavelength of the active layer, thus increasing the Jsc and PCE of the OPV cells. 相似文献

In this study, polymer solar cells (PSCs) doped with Au nanoparticles (Au NPs) were successfully fabricated to maximize the photon-harvesting properties on the photoactive layer. In addition, a conductivity-enhanced hybrid buffer layer was introduced to improve the photon absorption properties and effectively separate the generated charges by adding Au NPs and dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) to the PH 500 as a buffer layer. The PSC performance was optimized with a 88% improvement over the conventional PSCs (photoactive area: 225 mm2, power conversion efficiency (PCE): 3.2%) by the introduction to the buffer layer of Au NPs and DMSO at 10 wt% and 1.0 wt%, respectively, and with 15 wt% Au NP doping in the photoactive layer. The internal resistance was decreased due to the increased photocurrent caused by the localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) effect of the Au NPs in the photoactive layer and by the improvement of carrier mobility induced by the DMSO doping of the buffer layer. As a result, the series resistance (RS) deceased from 42.3 to 19.7 Ω cm2 while the shunt resistance (RSH) increased from 339 to 487 Ω cm2. 相似文献

One of the most effective methods to achieve high-performance perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is to employ additives as crystallization agents or to passivate defects. Tri-iodide ion has been known as an efficient additive to improve the crystallinity, grain size, and morphology of perovskite films. However, the generation and control of this tri-iodide ion are challenging. Herein, an efficient method to produce tri-iodide ion in a precursor solution using a photoassisted process for application in PSCs is developed. Results suggest that the tri-iodide ion can be synthesized rapidly when formamidinium iodide (FAI) dissolved isopropyl alcohol (IPA) solution is exposed to LED light. Specifically, the photoassisted FAI–IPA solution facilitates the formation of fine perovskite films with high crystallinity, large grain size, and low trap density, thereby improving the device performance up to 22%. This study demonstrates that the photoassisted process in FAI dissolved IPA solution can be an alternative strategy to fabricate highly efficient PSCs with significantly reduced processing times. 相似文献

The interference mitigation technique based on fractional frequency reuse (FFR) provides improved cell-edge performance with similar overall cell capacity as that of systems with the frequency reuse factor of one. Furthermore, frequency sub-band allocation by FFR has the benefit of allowing flexibility for the deployment of femto-cells through frequency partitioning. Determination of a proper frequency partitioning criterion between the cell-center and the cell-edge, and between the cells with femto-cells is an important issue. In addition, time resource partitioning introduces another degree of freedom to the design of time-frequency resource allocation. In this paper, we propose a novel time-frequency resource allocation mechanism using FFR for a macro-femto overlay cellular network. Feasible frequency sub-band and time resource is allocated to the cell-center and the cell-edge region in a cell by the proposed partitioning criterion and the time partitioning ratio. We provide a guideline for how to determine the partitioning criterion for the regions and how to design the amount of time resource. We derive the average capacity of macro-cells and femto-cells, and introduce a new harmonic mean metric to maximize the average capacity of the regions while achieving the fairness among users in a cell. 相似文献
