Ti3SiC2/cordierite coatings with different critical plasma spray parameters (CPSP) were fabricated via atmospheric plasma spraying method. The microstructure and phase constitution of the as-sprayed Ti3SiC2/cordierite coatings were characterized. The effects of CPSP conditions on the electromagnetic shielding, and dielectric and microwave absorption properties of coatings in the frequency of 8.2-12.4 GHz were also measured and investigated. The results showed that both real and imaginary part of the complex permittivity decrease with increasing CPSP values, which can be ascribed to the decomposition of some Ti3SiC2 into TiC. The calculated reflection loss of the as-sprayed Ti3SiC2/cordierite coatings with different CPSP conditions and thicknesses indicates that coatings with CPSP 0.3, 0.35, and 0.425 exhibit excellent microwave absorption property in the thickness of 1.5 mm. In order to broaden the bandwidth of the coatings, a double-layer coating system was designed. The calculated reflection loss results show that when the thickness of matching layer is 0.3 mm and the thickness of absorbing layer is 1.5 mm, the double-layer coating system shows a proper microwave absorption property with a minimum absorption value of ?17.37 dB at 9.67 GHz and a absorption bandwidth (RL less than ?5 dB) of 4.16 GHz in the investigated frequency.  相似文献

Poly(phenylene benzobisoxazole) (PBO) was first used as matrix to fabricate the two‐dimensional SiCf/PBO composites by a lamination method. Different amounts of coupling agent were introduced to improve the bonding between silicon carbide (SiC) fibers and the PBO matrix during the fabrication of the SiCf/PBO composites. The surface structure and composition of the as‐received PBO and PBO treated with the coupling agent were analyzed, and the morphology and flexural strength of the composites were characterized. The Fourier transform infrared analysis indicated that the hydroxyl groups from the coupling agent were successfully introduced to PBO. The flexural strength of the composites increased at first with increasing content of the coupling agent but decreased with excessive addition of the coupling agent. The flexural strength of the composites was improved from 15 to 89 MPa. The test results suggested that the interaction between the SiC fiber and the treated PBO with the coupling agent was intensified. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. Two types of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) copolyesters were successfully prepared with sodium‐5‐sulfo‐bis‐(hydroxyethyl)‐isophthalate (SIPE) and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) units with different molecular weights named as cationic dyeable polyester and easy cationic dyeable polyester. Their chemical and crystalline structures were characterized by the nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), wide angle X‐ray diffraction (WAXD), and small angle X‐ray scattering measurement, and their thermal properties were tested by differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis, respectively. NMR experimental results showed that the actual molar ratio of comonomers was basically consistent with the correlative feed ratio. WAXD results indicated that the crystalline structures of prepared copolyesters were similar to that of PET. Moreover, the glass transition temperature, melting temperature, and thermal degradation temperature were found to decrease with the reduction of the of PEG units as the incorporation of lower of PEG units brought more ether bonds into molecular chains, which increased the irregularity of molecular chain arrangement and led to lower crystallinity. In addition, because the incorporation of PEG units with lower molecular weight led to more ether bonds and hydroxyl end‐groups in molecular chains, the value of contact angle of PET copolyesters dropped, manifesting PET copolyesters had better hydrophilicity with the decreasing molecular weight of PEG units.© 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of aqueous latexes with solid contents of 56%–59% were synthesized by binary emulsion copolymerization of vinylidene chloride (VDC) with an acrylate, namely methyl acrylate (MA), ethyl acrylate (EA), butyl acrylate (BA), hexyl acrylate (HA), or 2‐ethylhexyl acrylate (EHA). Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Fourier‐transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy showed that the acrylate units with short ester side‐chains, such as MA and EA, made the copolymers hard and the crystallization tendency of their PVDC segments was reduced. Hydrophobic acrylates with relatively long ester groups, such as HA and EHA, gave flexible copolymers, and favored the crystallization of their PVDC segments. BA endowed the copolymers with medium flexibility and crystallization tendency. As coating materials, the copolymers bearing MA and EA adhered poorly to the tinplate before or after 100 hr of salt‐spray corrosion, whereas those bearing BA, HA, or EHA showed good adhesion to tinplate when they had little or no crystallinity. After 100 hr of salt‐spray corrosion, only BA–VDC80, containing 80% VDC, retained both excellent adhesion to metal and excellent barrier performance. Further study demonstrated that BA–VDC80 could protect tinplate from rusting for at least 250 hr under harsh salt‐spray corrosion. Rod‐like and spherical mesoporous SBA‐15 silica particles were synthesized as pure silicas and surface modified by organosilane coupling agents firstly, and then the effects of these mesoporous materials on the critical micelle concentration (CMC) of sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS), the stabilities of batch and semi‐continuous MMA emulsion polymerizations, and the molecular weights and molecular weight distributions of the polymer products were studied. The incorporation of both unmodified and silane‐modified forms of the mesoporous silica particles in the polymerization reaction increased the CMC of SDS. The presence of the unmodified mesoporous silica in the polymerization process led to instability in the batch emulsion polymerization process, as indicated by the formation of increased amounts of coagulum, and a decrease in the molecular weight of the polymer product. However, in comparison to the polymer formed in the absence of particle additives the molecular weight of the PMMA polymer increased with the amount of emulsifier and the addition of silane‐modified SBA‐15 particles, suggesting the growth of the polymer chains is facilitated at least in part by reaction in the pores of the particles. The improvement in molecular weight indicates that semi‐continuous MMA emulsion polymerization is best suited for the preparation of PMMA–mesoporous silica composites. POLYM. ENG. 在基于层次分析法(Analytic H ierarchy Process,简称AHP)的土壤侵蚀影响因子控制方案选择的基础上,首次利用层次分析模型(Analytic H ierarchicalModel,简称AHM)方法对影响土壤侵蚀的因子进行了定量分析。结果表明,应以现代加速侵蚀指标方案来控制土壤侵蚀,从而达到有效控制土壤侵蚀、发展生产、能动地改造自然的目的。为工程决策提供了有力的支撑,有利于促进土壤侵蚀和水土保持的可持续发展。  相似文献
