Intelligent agents - as a modern artificial intelligence concept - are now widely deployed in various software systems. The agent can be defined as a software entity which functions continuously and autonomously in a particular environment, able to carry out activities in a flexible and intelligent manner that is responsive to changes in the environment, and able to learn from its experience. An intrusion detection system can be decomposed into steps where an agent can perform a single or more step. But performance evaluation techniques of their use are still in the early stage. This infancy status holds especially true for agents used in intrusion detection systems (IDS) since they are new to this field. We believe that the two most important factors to measure for a given IDS are the risk time and the detection time. The risk time is the time at which the computer could be under risk of attack since the intrusion is not discovered yet. The smaller the detection time is the smaller the risk time. Thus, as a step towards a complete evaluation strategy, a simple IDS with agents was tested. 相似文献

Intelligent agents are software programs that act on behalf of human users or other systems to carry out arduous information gathering and processing tasks. Thus, an agent-oriented approach is well suited for helping "a human" to find needed information on the Internet. This article describes the design of a multi-agent system and its cooperation with existing search engines. The proposed system is set up as a middle-layer agent between the user and the search engines. This system tracks the users activity and creates a pattern using association-rule mining as a text categorization technique. Depending on how well this pattern is drawn, the system provides more reliable, accurate and well-organized results for the user than if the user goes it alone. Extraction of pure natural hydroxyapatite from the bovine bones bio waste by three different methods

In the present study, natural hydroxyapatite has been extracted from bio-waste; namely the bovine bones. Three different processes have been applied to extract the natural hydroxyapatite: thermal decomposition, subcritical water and alkaline hydrothermal processes. The results obtained by many physiochemical analyses have indicated that all the utilized methods have the ability to eliminate the organic compounds present in the bovine bones and produce pure hydroxyapatite bioceramic with average yield of 65%. Nanorod shape hydroxyapatite with an average length of 300 nm was obtained by the thermal process at temperature of 750 °C and holding time of 6 h. For the alkaline hydrothermal process, pure hydroxyapatite nanoparticles were produced at sodium hydroxide concentration of 25 wt%, temperature of 250 °C and holding time of 5 h. The subcritical water plucks out the collagen present in the bovine bones, so pure hydroxyapatite nanoflakes have been obtained at temperature of 275 °C and holding time 1 h. Selected area electron diffraction pattern images have signified that the thermal process produces good crystallinity hydroxyapatite. The intermittency of renewable energy resources which only have localized availability with low energy density, is the main reasons for our reliance on conventional fossil fuels. If steady supply and high energy quality can be achieved then solar energy potential is enough to meet the global energy demand. Heat and electricity both are equally important forms of derived energies. In this paper, an innovative configuration of solar energy system for simultaneous need of electricity and high grade thermal energy, is presented and discussed along with the long term energy storage solution. The proposed CPV/T system, with hydrogen based electrical and MgO based thermal storage, can produce electricity and high-temperature thermal energies at efficiency of 30% and 70% respectively. The CPV-Hydrogen configuration achieved Solar to Hydrogen efficiency of 19%. On the other hand, the MgO based TES system obtained 80% material storage efficiency at 400 °C which can be easily achieved with the concentrated thermal energy density of 240 Suns. 相似文献
