Analysis of miRNA Expression Profiling of RIP2 Knockdown in Chicken HD11 Cells When Infected with Avian Pathogenic E. coli (APEC)

Colibacillosis is an acute and chronic avian disease caused by avian pathogenic E. coli (APEC). Previous studies have demonstrated that RIP2 plays a significant role in APEC infection. Moreover, increasing evidence indicates that microRNAs (miRNAs) are involved in host–pathogen interactions and the immune response. However, the role of miRNAs in the host against APEC infection remains unclear. Herein, we attempted to reveal new miRNAs potentially involved in the regulation of the immune and inflammatory response against APEC infection, with a particular focus on those possibly correlated with RIP2 expression, via miRNA-seq, RT-qPCR, Western blotting, dual-luciferase reporter assay, and CCK-8. The results showed that a total of 93 and 148 differentially expressed (DE) miRNAs were identified in the knockdown of RIP2 cells following APEC infection (shRIP2+APEC) vs. knockdown of RIP2 cells (shRIP2) and shRIP2 vs. wild-type cells (WT), respectively. Among those identified DE miRNAs, the biological function of gga-miR-455-5p was investigated. It was found that gga-miR-455-5p regulated by RIP2 was involved in the immune and inflammatory response against APEC infection via targeting of IRF2 to modulate the expression of type I interferons. Additionally, RIP2 could directly regulate the production of the type I interferons. Altogether, these findings highlighted the crucial role of miRNAs, especially gga-miR-455-5p, in host defense against APEC infection.

Probing into the Yield Plateau Phenomenon in Commercially Pure Titanium During Tensile Tests

To explain the intrinsic mechanism of the yield plateau phenomenon in commercially pure titanium, the tensile behaviors of commercially pure titanium specimens after 91.6% cryorolling and subsequent annealing at 280 ℃, 335 ℃, 450 ℃ and 600 ℃ have been studied. The results show that the yield plateau phenomenon is a result of dislocation behaviors controlled by grain size and thus only exists within a given range of mean grain size. α grain boundaries are the main dislocation multiplication sources of commercially pure titanium. Fine-grained microstructure could offer numerous dislocation multiplication locations during deformation. Once the applied stress is above the yielding strength, dislocations multiply rapidly and the mobile dislocation density is high. To retrieve the imposed strain rate, the mean dislocation velocity is bound to be low. Therefore, it takes time for them to interact with each other. As a result, the movement of dislocations is hardly blocked and the deformation could continue at a nearly constant applied stress. Consequently, the so-called yield plateau behavior presents in the tensile curves. The disappearance of yield plateau phenomenon in coarse-grained and ultrafi ne-grained microstructures is attributed to the quick realization of the mutual interactions among dislocations at the initial stage of tensile test.

为了在GSM系统基站规划工作中确定小区的天线下倾角,应用地理信息系统开发了GSM小区天线下倾角计算软件。软件在开发中采用OLE自动化方法和MapInfo的回调功能,集成了地理信息系统强大的地理化显示和操作功能。软件包含了从数据准备、地图生成、下倾角计算到结果保存等各个过程,实现了下倾角数据的自动维护。应用表明,该软件较好地支撑了工程中的GSM基站规划工作。     

Some blind FRESH equalization algorithms with anti-interference capabilities

Some novel blind FREquency-SHift （FRESH） equalizer algorithms are proposed for the equalization of Finite Impulse Response （FIR） single channel with anti-interference capabilities. These algorithms based on FRESH filter can work well without any training sequence. Simulation results show that the equalizer algorithms can effectively reject many types of interferences and the performances of these new equalizer algorithms are superior to the conventional equalizer algorithms.     

基于OPNET的网络并行仿真实现

通信网络的应用越来越广泛其规模也越来越大.传统的基于OPNET的单机网络仿真在面对大规模的网络时由于受到计算机硬件条件以及软件性能的限制其仿真效率受到了一些制约。通过对OPNET软件做开发扩展其功能使之可以在多台计算机上并行运行,将一个大规模网络分散到两台或者两台以上的计算机上运行,使用WINSOCK和c 的动态链接库辅助完成多台计算机之间的通信,使得各台计算机进行协调联合仿真。最后通过仿真结果可以看出多台计算机分担了一台计算机的负荷提高了仿真效率。
