The kinetics of crystal growth of trigonal selenium from the vapour phase has been studied between 440.5 and 473.0K at vapour pressures ranging from 34.4 to 293 Pa. The crystal growth was found to be dependent upon the supercooling to the 2.5 power, in contrast to melt crystallization which has an exponential supercooling dependence. From the vapour pressure—growth rate correlation there is evidence that the active species in crystallization is Se2. Crystallization of Se from the gas phase is an example of crystallization during polymerization.  相似文献

We investigated which structural components are responsible for maintaining interstitial fluid equilibrium in the pulpal tissue, for which the existence of an effective lymph drainage is postulated. There have been only a small number of investigations on pulpal lymph tissue. Therefore, we decided to perform a detailed structural analysis. Twenty vital, healthy teeth that had to be extracted for orthodontic reasons were immersed in Patent Blue for 10 to 15 minutes after opening the pulpal cavity. They were then extracted and the dental pulps were opened by cleavage of the surrounding hard tooth structure. Subsequently, the specimens were prepared for light and electron microscopic investigation. A clear blue ring of stain was detected by light microscopy in Weil's zone in the coronal region of the pulp, the cell-rarefied layer surrounded by the odontoblasts. No dye deposition was observed in the apical part. However, using transmission electron microscopy, capillary structures with typical morphological characteristics of lymphatic vessels were found apically. The coronal part of the pulp did not reveal any such vascular structures. It may be concluded from these findings that the lymph in the coronal region is collected in interstitial tissue clefts and drained towards the apex, whence it is further transported via lymph capillaries.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Die Oberfl?chen von Spanplatten sind für deren Weiterverarbeitung von Bedeutung. Die Frage der Technik zur Messung der Oberfl?chengüte von Spanplatten wird er?rtert. Im Zusammenhang mit eigen Untersuchungen werden Vorschl?ge für die Oberfl?chenmessungen mit Hilfe des Tastschnittverfahrens gemacht. Die zur Durchführung des Verfahrens notwendige Quellung der zu prüfenden Spanplattenobertl?chen erfolgt bei Wasserlagerung rund hundertmal schneller als bei Lagerung in feuchter Luft. Eine Erh?hung des Hydrophobierungsmittel-Gehaltes der Decklagenp?ne, zeigt keinen nennenswerten Einflu? auf den Verlauf der Decklagenquellung. Mit hoher Decklagen-Spanfeuchtigkeit hergestellte Platten weisen nach 24 h Wasserlagerung eine nur geringe Rauhtiefenzunahme auf. Spanplatten, die mit Schleifpapier feinerer K?rnung geschliffen werden, zeigen auch nach einer Wasserlagerung glattere Fl?chen als mit grober K?rnung gechliffene Platten. Das Befeuchten der Spanplattenoberfl⇂hen vor dem Schleifen ergibt eine merkliche Verminderung der Rauhtiefenzunahme gegenüber nicht befeuchteten Oberfl?cher. Für die Untersuchung unbehandelter Spanplatten-oberfl?chen ist das Pastentestverfahren nach H. Flemming gut geeignet.
Measuring of the surface of particleboard
Summary The surfaces of particleboard are of importance for their finishing. The problem of technics concerning the measurement of surface quality of particleboard is discussed. In connection with own investigations proposals for surface measurements with the tracer method are made. The swelling of the particle-board to be tested necessary for the procedure is, with watering achieed about a hundred times quicker than in humid air. An increase in the content of water-repellent agent in the outer layer does not show any significant effect on the swelling of surface layers. After 24 h of watering, boards produced with a high moisture content of the surface layers show merely a slight increase in roughness. Particleboard sanded with sandpaper of a finer grit even after watering shows a smoother surface than boards sanded with a coarser grit. The wetting of the particleboard surfaces prior to sanding yields a notable diminishing of the roughness increase as against not wetted surfaces. For the investigation of untreated particleboard surfaces the Pastentest procedure according to H. Flemming is well suited.

A review of the densification mechanisms and the microstructural development for transparent spinel made by free sintering and by hot pressing is given. The paper is divided into two main parts. The first part considers spinel without any sintering additives because there still is some controversy concerning the role of cation stoichiometry on sintering and grain growth. The second part discusses the role of the classic sintering aid, LiF, in processing transparent spinel. LiF is shown to have multiple behaviors: (1) it initially wets spinel and forms a liquid phase at relatively low temperatures, which affects early-stage densification and also grain growth; (2) upon cooling from intermediate temperatures, or even from higher temperatures if microstructure evolution (e.g., formation of closed porosity) prevents volatization, the LiF-containing liquid dewets and resides in isolated pockets; (3) LiF alters the cation stoichiometry, thereby enhancing diffusion via an increase in the concentration of oxygen vacancies; this affects both the densification rate and grain growth; and (4) it reacts with impurities in the system, thereby acting as a cleanser. For the production of transparent spinel, it is critical that LiF or associated reaction products not be retained as a secondary phase.  相似文献

Electrophoretic deposition (EPD) is mostly used for producing moulds and layers. The present work shows the fabrication of ceramic microparts by the use of structured electrodes. As electrode structures euro coins and spinning nozzles were used. Additionally a cost effective and simple method was developed, which allows preserving the original master mould by using microstructured silicone moulds as substrate. This was enabled by coating the silicone moulds with graphite to obtain an electrically conductive surface, required for electrophoretic deposition.  相似文献
