Mod.9Cr–1Mo steel has been used for boiler components in ultra-supercritical (USC) thermal power plants. The creep strength of welded joint of this steel decreases due to the formation of Type IV cracking in heat affected zone (HAZ) at higher temperatures. The present paper aims to clarify the damage processes and mechanisms of the welded joint for Mod.9Cr–1Mo steel. Long-term creep tests of base metal, welded joint and simulated fine- grained HAZ were conducted at 550, 600 and 650 °C. Creep tests using thick plate welded joint specimen were interrupted at several time steps, and evolutions and distributions of creep damages were measured quantitatively using laser microscope. It is found that creep voids initiate at early stage of creep life (0.2 of life), the number of creep voids increases until 0.7 of life, and then voids coalesced into the macro crack at the later stage of life (0.8 of life). Creep damages concentrate mostly at a quarter depths of the plate thickness within the fine-grained HAZ of the present welded joint. The experimental creep damage distributions were compared with the computed results by using the FEM analysis. Both creep strain concentration and high stress triaxiality in fine-grained HAZ of welded joint are considered to accelerate the creep void formation and growth. 相似文献

Blood examination was conducted for the four Gidra-speaking village groups in Papua New Guinea, who were characterized by high Fe intake and high malaria prevalence with marked inter-village differences. The northern riverine villagers, whose Fe intake was higher than the other three village groups, did not suffer from Fe-deficiency anaemia in their malaria-endemic environment; nor did the inland villagers, with their second highest Fe intake and their malaria-free environment, suffer from Fe-deficiency anaemia. However, several individuals of the southern riverine village suffered from anaemia in a malaria-endemic environment, although their Fe intake was almost the same as the inland villagers'. A considerable proportion of the coastal villagers were anaemic, reflecting the lowest Fe intake and the highest malaria prevalence. An inter-village comparison of the relationships between haemoglobin levels and transferrin saturation revealed that the southern riverine villagers needed smaller amounts of circulating Fe for erythropoiesis than the northern riverine and inland villagers, reflecting the long-term human-environment conditions such as the density of malaria vectors and the people's dietary habits. Fe supplementation was not judged effective against hypoferraemia and/or anaemia in such a population. As the incidence of malaria had no significant long-lasting effect on Fe stores or circulating Fe concentration, but did have an effect on anaemia, the hypothesis that malaria causes a transfer of Fe from the blood to parenchymal tissues as a defence against infectious diseases was not supported. 相似文献

A simplified numerical method is described for computing the radiation integral of a reflector antenna which is associated with either the aperture field method (AFM) or the induced current method (ICM). The method involves linear approximation of the phase function and absorption of the approximation error into amplitude function. Then the integrand is rewritten as a slowly varying function multiplied by the phase exponential. The slowly varying function is expanded in terms of a polynomial for the radial direction and trigonometric functions for the circumferential direction. Expansion coefficients are determined by matching at points on the aperture. The matching points are chosen in a manner similar to that of a two-dimensional numerical integration scheme. 相似文献

In an attempt to clarify the role of macrophages and their mediators during regeneration of the liver, the difference of liver regeneration among C3H/HeN (LPS-responsive strain) and C3H/HeJ (LPS-resistant strain) mice was investigated. After a 67% partial hepatectomy, an increase in the weight of regenerating liver was significantly delayed in the C3H/HeJ mice, as compared with C3H/HeN mice. The number of hepatocytes labeled with antibody against PCNA reached maximum levels 48 hr after partial hepatectomy, but the PCNA labeling index in C3H/HeJ mice was 20% less than that for C3H/HeN mice. In addition, TNF-alpha activities in serum were enhanced shortly after partial hepatectomy in C3H/HeN strain mice, but were not increased in C3H/HeJ strain mice. Serum IL-6 levels were markedly enhanced in both C3H/HeN and C3H/HeJ mice, but a bimodial peak (14 and 48 hr after partial hepatectomy) was demonstrated in C3H/HeN mice, in contrast to a single peak (at 24 hr) in C3H/HeJ mice. Suppression of Kupffer cells by previous administration of gadolinium chloride in C3H/HeN mice reduced the increase in both serum TNF-alpha and IL-6 concentrations, reduced PCNA labeling index of hepatocytes by 20%, and disturbed the regeneration of the liver. Previous administration of antibody against TNF-alpha reduced the PCNA labeling index of hepatocytes by 20% after partial hepatectomy in C3H/HeN strain mice. These results suggest that LPS-responsive macrophages in the liver and their mediators, especially TNF-alpha, could partly play a role in liver regeneration. 相似文献

Existing methods for prepaiing pure L -leucine from protein hydrolysates are unsatisfactory, especially when L -leucine, isoleucine-free, is required in high purity. Using a commercial crude leucine containing 73% of L -leucine, 10% of L -isoleucine and other impurities, the preparation of pure L -leucine was investigated. As a result, the fractional crystallisation of the sulphonates of L -leucine with benzenesulphonic acid and p-toluenesulphonic acid was found to be very effective for the purification of L -leucine. The pure L -leucine in which no other amino acid was detected by an amino acid analyser was obtained by passing aqueous solutions of these sulphonates through ionic resin columns to separate L -leucine and sulphonic acids. The overall yield of leucine was 59±62% of the theoretical. The present purification methods are considered to be very promising for the industrial production of L -leucine from protein hydrolysates. 相似文献

Multiple scattering by two conducting circular cylinders is studied by applying three different methods: the method of Zitron and Karp (ZK), the method of Karp and Russek, and an iterative method which gives the exact solution. A high performance and functional properties in pressure‐sensitive adhesives (PSAs) are attractive in fundamental and industrial fields. To control the performance of PSAs, nanofillers have been loaded into them. In this study, we focused on composites of acrylic PSAs and nanodiamonds (NDs). The loaded NDs reinforced the mechanical properties and increased the performance of the PSAs. NDs in a PSA formed a network structure. In this study, we revealed that the acidic–basic state was a key factor in the control of the dispersion of the NDs. When a PSA emulsions and ND aqueous dispersion was mixed under basic conditions, the composites demonstrated higher PSA properties (tack, holding, and peeling strength).
