Monodispersed ZrO2 precursor nanoparticles with a diameter of 25 nm were successfully synthesized by using diglycol as complexing reagent. The kinetic of particle growth as a function of concentration ratio of ZrOCl2: diglycol was investigated. The as-synthesized ZrO2 precursor nanoparticles were homogenously coated on the surface of polystyrene particles. Multilayer coating process was implemented by using poly (acrylic acid) (PAA) to modify the surface charges of the coated spheres, which was characterized by zeta-potential, particles size distribution and microstructural observation. The multilayer-coated polystyrene (PS) spheres have been used as templates to produce macroporous materials. Ordered macroporous ZrO2 materials were obtained after the ZrO2 precursor nanoparticles coated PS spheres were formed by centrifugation and calcined at 550°C for 3 h. The porous wall thickness could be well controlled by using the multilayer nano-ZrO2 coated PS spheres with different coating thickness.  相似文献

Coronary stenosis has been one of the most common heart diseases that drastically increases the risk of fatal disorders such as heart attack. Angioplasty using drug coated balloons (DCB) has been one of the most safe and promising treatments. To minimize the risk of thrombosis of such DCBs during intervention, a different approach that can secure high hemocompatibility under blood flow is necessary. Here we report a method of improving the photoresponsive platform’s hemocompatibility by conjugating polyethylene glycol (PEG), onto the functional groups located at the balloon surface. In this study, latex microbeads were used as models for balloons to enable precise observation of its surface under microscopy. These beads were decorated with PEG polymers of a variety of lengths and grafting densities, along with the Cy5-Photoclevable (PC) linker conjugate to mimic drugs to be loaded onto the platform. Results showed that PEG length and grafting density are both critical factors that alter not only its hemocompatibility, but also the drug load and release efficiency of such platform. Thus, although further investigation is necessary to optimize the tradeoff between hemocompatibility, drug load, and release efficiency, it is safe to conclude that PEGylation of DCB surface is an effective method of enhancing and maintaining high hemocompatibility to minimize the risk of thrombosis during angioplasty.  相似文献

Quantum dots (QDs) have attracted attention for their potential as a cell imaging regent. However, the development of effective intracellular delivery system for QDs is needed to apply various cell lines without affecting cellular function. We reported here new QDs delivery system by using cationic nanogel consisting of cholesterol-bearing pullulan modified with an amino group (CHPNH2). The uptake of hybrid nanoparticles into HeLa cells was followed by flow cytometry, and confocal laser scanning fluorescence microscopy. Protein-conjugated QDs were effectively internalized into cells by the nanogel compared with a cationic liposome system. The hybrid nanoparticle was used to stain rabbit mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) so as to evaluate their effect on cell function. CHPNH2-QD hybrid nanoparticles remained detectable inside MSCs for at least 2 weeks of culture and had little effect on the in vitro chondrogenic ability of MSCs. The hybrid nanoparticles are a promising candidate as a cell tracer in tissue engineering.  相似文献

Stroke is among the leading causes of death and disability worldwide. However, despite long-term research yielding numerous candidate neuroprotective drugs, there remains a lack of effective neuroprotective therapies for ischemic stroke patients. Among the factors contributing to this deficiency could be that single-target therapy is insufficient in addressing the complex and extensive mechanistic basis of ischemic brain injury. In this context, lipids serve as an essential component of multiple biological processes and play important roles in the pathogenesis of numerous common neurological diseases. Moreover, in recent years, fatty acid-binding proteins (FABPs), a family of lipid chaperone proteins, have been discovered to be involved in the onset or development of several neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. However, comparatively little attention has focused on the roles played by FABPs in ischemic stroke. We have recently demonstrated that neural tissue-associated FABPs are involved in the pathological mechanism of ischemic brain injury in mice. Here, we review the literature published in the past decade that has reported on the associations between FABPs and ischemia and summarize the relevant regulatory mechanisms of FABPs implicated in ischemic injury. We also propose candidate FABPs that could serve as potential therapeutic targets for ischemic stroke.  相似文献

Irradiated murine induced-pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) elicit the antitumor response in vivo. However, it is unclear whether human iPSCs would elicit antitumor effects. In the present study, we investigated the capability of human iPSC lysate (iPSL)-pulsed dendritic cells (DCs) (iPSL/DCs) to induce cancer-responsive cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) in vitro. iPSCs and DCs were induced from peripheral blood mononuclear cells isolated from a human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-A33 homozygous donor. The iPSL was pulsed with immature DCs, which were then stimulated to allow full maturation. The activated DCs were co-cultured with autologous CTLs and their responses to SW48 colorectal carcinoma cells (HLA-A32/A33), T47D breast cancer cells (HLA-A33/A33), and T98G glioblastoma cells (HLA-A02/A02) were tested with enzyme-linked immunospot (ELISPOT) assays. Comprehensive gene expression analysis revealed that the established iPSCs shared numerous tumor-associated antigens with the SW48 and T47D cells. Immunofluorescent analysis demonstrated that the fluorescent-labeled iPSL was captured by the immature DCs within 2 h. iPSL/DCs induced sufficient CTL numbers in 3 weeks for ELISPOT assays, which revealed that the induced CTLs responded to SW48 and T47D cells. Human iPSL/DCs induced cancer-responsive CTLs on HLA-A33-matched cancer cells in vitro and could be a promising universal cancer vaccine for treating and preventing cancer.  相似文献

The addition of more antioxidant to aged oils is not always effective in preventing autoxidation. To investigate this phenomenon, a solution of antioxidant and model oxide in hexadecane was examined by means of the induction period method. Aldehydes were found to be the most active species for reducing the antioxidation properties of zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (ZDTP), 2,6-di(tert. butyl)-4-methylphenol (DBPC), and N-phenyl-1-naphtylamine (PNA). Carboxylic acids, ethers, alcohols, and ketones to some extent reduced the induction period with these antioxidants. Esters showed almost no influence on reducing their antioxidant properties. Reaction of ZDTP with aldehyde was studied by means of 31P-NMR analysis. It was found that (a) aldehydes accelerate conversion of ZDTP, and thereby reduce its antioxidant performance. (b) Conversion of ZDTP in the presence of aldehydes under oxygen at 130° in hexadecane and no reaction was observed under nitrogen at the same temperature. Active intermediates derived by the autoxidation of aldehyde were suspected. (c) Reaction of peroxycarboxylic acid with ZDTP took place smoothly at 0°C under nitrogen to give bis(dialkylthiorophosphoro)disulphide and the corresponding carboxylic acid. Reaction of hydroperoxide with ZDTP took place at room temperature to give oxo-hexa(dialkylphosphorothiorothionato)-tetrazinc. Two mechanisms for decomposition of ZDTP promoted by aldehydes, namely hydroperoxide and peroxycarboxylic acid mechanisms, are proposed. Reaction of peroxycarboxylic acid with DBPC or PNA barely took place at room temperature: for these antioxidants, the peroxycarboxylic acid mechanism would be excluded. Radical species derived by the autoxidation of aldehydes were considered as active intermediates. It is considered that classification of the types of oxides that exist in used oils in the key to optimising the effect of re-added antioxidants.  相似文献

The 〈100〉 grain-oriented 0.11(Bi0.5K0.5)TiO3–0.23BaTiO3–0.02Bi(Mg0.5Ti0.5)O3–0.64BiFeO3 piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by a reactive templated grain growth method using a platelike H1.08Ti1.73O4·nH2O (HTO) template and Bi2O3–KHCO3–MgO–Fe2O3–BaCO3 matrix particles. The high degree of texturing (a Lotgering orientation factor of 80%) and high density (95%) were achieved by employing weight-pressing treatment during the binder-removal and sintering treatment along with optimizing the sintering temperature. The water-quenching treatment has a significant impact on the enhancement of dielectric, ferroelectric, and piezoelectric properties with the increase of dielectric constant, remanent polarization, and piezoelectric strain constant from 764, 13.6 μC/cm2, and 384 pm/V for the as-sintered ceramics to 812, 29.9 μC/cm2, and 526 pm/V after the water-quenching treatment at 850°C, respectively. The obtained piezoelectric strain constant with a 1.8 times enhancement compared to that of the ceramics with randomly oriented grains is significantly higher than those reported for other lead-free piezoelectric ceramics with Curie temperature >300°C. This study suggested the strong potentiality of this material system for high-temperature actuator application.  相似文献

The service restoration to sound sections within a short period as much as possible, performed after the permanent fault occurs in a distribution system, is significant for maintaining power supply reliability. This paper proposes an efficient method to find service restoration procedures based on fault searching and the optimal work scheduling of crews, considering the power supply priorities of loads and the probability of occurrence of faults. The proposed method is composed of two-stage problems to reduce the outage sections efficiently: (i) the problem to find a series of searching procedures for unknown fault locations in the first stage and (ii) the optimization problem of work schedules of crews in the second stage. In the first stage, the order of operation of switches opened for searching for the fault direction is determined, constituting the searching tree. After that, the proposed optimization method can efficiently solve the work scheduling problem by formulating it as a mixed-integer linear programming problem in the second stage. The computational experiments using a large-scale distribution system model with many remote and manual switches show that the proposed method can provide efficient service restoration procedures within a reasonable computational time.  相似文献
