In this paper we discuss the efficient implementation of pseudochaotic piecewise linear maps with high digitization accuracies, taking the R'enyi chaotic map as a reference. The proposed digital architectures are based on a novel algorithmic approach that uses carry save adders for the nonlinear arithmetic modular calculations arising when computing piecewise linear maps with a finite precision. As a result, the system can be implemented by digital circuits obtaining high throughputs, which are not dependent on the digital resolution while involving a hardware complexity linearly proportional to the number of bits used for representing the discretized state. The proposed solutions result to be particularly suitable for the implementation of pseudorandom number generators based on pseudochaos, or for the definition of efficient digital blocks that can be integrated in most of the pseudochaotic cyphers proposed in the literature. This study evaluated the shelf life extension of a cheese cake subjected to modified atmosphere (MAP) and active packaging (AP). Cheese cakes were packaged under different N2 /CO2 ratios (70/30 and 20/80) (MAP batches), by placing a sachet of an iron oxide-based oxygen absorber inside trays (AP batch) and with air (air batch). Changes in microbial growth, in-package gas composition, chemical–physical parameters including texture and sensory attributes were monitored for 48 days at 20 °C. AP allowed a mould-free cheese cake shelf life of 48 days, MAP extended the shelf life of samples packaged under 30% and 80% CO2 up to 14 and 34 days, respectively, whereas tarts stored with air spoiled after 7 days. MAP resulted in a significant increase in hardness after 14 days of storage, whereas AP tarts recovered the initial texture after 48 days. Several methods to determine the color gamut of any digital camera are shown. Since an input device is additive, its color triangle was obtained from their spectral sensitivities, and it was compared with the theoretical sensors of Ives‐Abney‐Yule and MacAdam. On the other hand, the RGB digital data of the optimal or MacAdam colors were simulated to transform them into XYZ data according to the colorimetric profile of the digital camera. From this, the MacAdam limits associated to the digital camera are compared with the corresponding ones of the CIE‐1931 XYZ standard observer, resulting that our color device has much smaller MacAdam loci than those of the colorimetric standard observer. Taking this into account, we have estimated the reduction of discernible colors by the digital camera applying a chromatic discrimination model and a packing algorithm to obtain color discrimination ellipses. Calculating the relative decrement of distinguishable colors by the digital camera in comparison with the colorimetric standard observer at different luminance factors of the optimal colors, we have found that the camera distinguishes considerably fewer very dark than very light ones, but relatively much more colors with middle lightness (Y between 40 and 70, or L* between 69.5 and 87.0). Estrogen receptor-α knockout (ERKO) in female, but not male, mice results in an impaired osteogenic response to exercise, but the mechanisms behind this ability in males are unknown. We explored the main and interactive effects of ERKO and exercise on cortical geometry, trabecular microarchitecture, biomechanical strength, and sclerostin expression in male mice. At 12 weeks of age, male C57BL/6J ERKO and WT animals were randomized into two groups: exercise treatment (EX) and sedentary (SED) controls, until 22 weeks of age. Cortical geometry and trabecular microarchitecture were measured via μCT; biomechanical strength was assessed via three-point bending; sclerostin expression was measured via immunohistochemistry. Two-way ANOVA was used to assess sclerostin expression and trabecular microarchitecture; two-way ANCOVA with body weight was used to assess cortical geometry and biomechanical strength. ERKO positively impacted trabecular microarchitecture, and exercise had little effect on these outcomes. ERKO significantly impaired cortical geometry, but exercise was able to partially reverse these negative alterations. EX increased cortical thickness regardless of genotype. There were no effects of genotype or exercise on sclerostin expression. In conclusion, male ERKO mice retain the ability to build bone in response to exercise, but altering sclerostin expression is not one of the mechanisms involved. 相似文献

Several precursor powders, obtained after precipitation from metal nitrate solution containing polyethylene glycol (PEG) (inside a Pyrex glass reactor or by spray-drying), and their thermal evolution to GdBa2Cu3O6+x (GdBCO) were analyzed by thermogravimetry, differential thermal analysis, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction. The amount of PEG had a crucial role in the BaCO3 content of the “Kjeldahl precursors,” but a minor effect on the degree of transformation to GdBCO at 900°C, which did not reach completion after 1 hour. In contrast, a low-PEG spray-dried powder led to almost 100% GdBCO in only 5 minutes. The high degree of cation dispersion reached by spray-drying and the coexistence with a liquid phase can explain this short reaction time. The spray-dried powder compares favorably with the mechanical mix of metal oxides and Ba carbonate that is commonly used as precursor powder for the synthesis following a solid-state reaction. 相似文献
