Frequent occurrence of ocular artifacts leads to serious problems in interpreting and analyzing the electroencephalogram (EEG).
In the present paper, a novel and robust technique is proposed to eliminate ocular artifacts from EEG signals in real time.
Independent Component Analysis (ICA) is used to decompose EEG signals. The features of topography and power spectral density
of those components are extracted. Moreover, we introduce manifold learning algorithm, a recently popular dimensionality reduction
technique, to reduce the dimensionality of initial features, and then those new features are fed to a classifier to identify
ocular artifacts components. A k-nearest neighbor classifier is adopted to classify components because classification results
show that manifold learning with the nearest neighbor algorithm works best. Finally, the artifact removal method proposed
here is evaluated by the comparisons of EEG data before and after artifact removal. The results indicate that the method proposed
could remove ocular artifacts effectively from EEG signals with little distortion of the underlying brain signals and be satisfied

The quick advance in image/video editing techniques has enabled people to synthesize realistic images/videos conveniently. Some legal issues may arise when a tampered image cannot be distinguished from a real one by visual examination. In this paper, we focus on JPEG images and propose detecting tampered images by examining the double quantization effect hidden among the discrete cosine transform (DCT) coefficients. To our knowledge, our approach is the only one to date that can automatically locate the tampered region, while it has several additional advantages: fine-grained detection at the scale of 8×8 DCT blocks, insensitivity to different kinds of forgery methods (such as alpha matting and inpainting, in addition to simple image cut/paste), the ability to work without fully decompressing the JPEG images, and the fast speed. Voting systems are common tools in a variety of areas. This paper studies parameterized computational complexity of control of Plurality, Condorcet and Approval voting systems, respectively. The types of controls considered include adding or deleting candidates or voters, under constructive or destructive setting. Due to the high complexity of vascular system network, the geometry reconstruction of vasculatures from raw medical datasets remains a very challenging task. In this paper, we present a novel skeleton-based method for the geometry reconstruction of vascular structures from standard 3D medical datasets. With the proposed techniques, the geometry of vascular structures with high level of smoothness and accuracy can be reconstructed from the raw medical datasets. The experimental results and comparison with other techniques demonstrate that our method can achieve faithful and smooth vascular structures. In addition, quantitative validation has been conducted to evaluate the accuracy and smoothness of the reconstructed vessel geometry based on the proposed method. 相似文献

针对传统图像放大处理过程中基于线性插值方法通常导致边缘模糊问题,分析了各向同性扩散模型和各向异性扩散模型在图像处理中的优缺点,提出了一种线性扩散和P-M方程自适应结合的图像放大综合模型。该模型对图像非平滑区域采用各向异性扩散模型处理,而平滑区域则采用各向同性扩散模型处理。实验结果表明,该综合模型在保持图像边缘锐度的同时提高了图像的清晰度,能够有效提高放大图像的主观视觉质量和客观SNR及PSNR。 相似文献
