To find an effective laser source to ignite energetic materials, the absorption spectra of some energetic materials are obtained by means of a photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS). In this experiment, PAS covers the wavelength region of 400 nm-1600 nm in which no other conventional method can take absorption spectra for powdered energetic materials. Photoacoustic spectra of 18 energetic materials are reported. In general, energetic materials tested showed peaks in 600 nm–800 nm and 1400 nm–1600 nm ranges. It is found that the energy required to initiate explosives in the case of ruby laser initiation were correlated with their photoacoustic signal intensities.  相似文献

In order to develop environmentally friendly coloured materials, cellulose composite spherical microbeads hybridised with titanium dioxide (TiO2) particles and inorganic pigment were prepared by a phase-separation method using viscose and an aqueous solution containing sodium polyacrylate. Findings regarding the relationships between cellulose xanthate and the electronic characteristics of TiO2 particles used in the cellulose/inorganic material composite sphering process are also reported. These findings suggest that the location of TiO2 particles in cellulose microbeads is related to electrical repulsion between the xanthate (CSS) group and TiO2. The use of TiO2 powder as colour pigment is limited, as its colour is white. The cellulose composite spherical microbeads covered with TiO2 and Fe2O3 particles were developed by addition of iron oxide (Fe2O3). Their surfaces were viewed by laser microscope and using SEM images. These composite microbeads retained the photocatalytic property of TiO2. Cellulose/TiO2/Fe2O3 composite spherical microbeads with both colour function and photocatalytic properties were successfully prepared.  相似文献

This paper deals with the prototype of a new pivot bearing having two degrees of freedom. The idea of the pivot bearing is based on a continuous velocity joint (CVJ). The experimental axial stiffness and contact pressure are compared with those determined by theoretical analysis. Then, it is confirmed that the pivot bearing swings smoothly with a range of ±25°. Furthermore, the stiffness of the bearing increases as the swinging angle becomes larger. Therefore, this newly developed pivot bearing may be applied to a parallel mechanism, a joint of robot and so on.  相似文献

Preparation of hard palm midfractions (PMF) and its use as a cocoa butter equivalent ingredient were studied. Hard PMF is obtained by multistep fractionation of palm oil involving dry fractionation (DF) and/or solvent fractionation (SF), usually using hexane or acetone. From our experience, in acetone, a polar solvent, symmetrical 1,3-disaturated triacylglycerols tend to selectively crystallize more than nonsymmetrical 1,2- or 2,3-disaturated triacylglycerols, making it suitable for obtaining the solid midfraction. Unfortunately, triacylglycerols are very soluble in hexane, and temperatures at least 15 degrees lower than those required for acetone must be used for equivalent crystal yields. On the other hand, DF is a less expensive and safer process. Thus, multistep fractionation combining DF and SF using acetone was developed to achieve sufficient removal of high-melting components, and further enrichment of 1,3-dipalmitoyl-2-oleoylglycerol and the hard PMF was obtained by triple-step fractionation of palm olein or double-step fractionation of soft PMF. Compared to conventional hard PMF, this hard PMF had a steeper melting curve and better snapping and sharp-melting qualities when used in chocolate. Heat resistance of the hard PMF chocolate was similar to the conventional hard PMF chocolate, and its bloom resistance could be improved by adding polyglycerol fatty acid esters.  相似文献

The WF (wall failure) test of the EAGLE program, in which 2 kg of uranium dioxide fuel-pins were melted by nuclear heating, was successfully conducted in the IGR (Impulse Graphite Reactor) of NNC/Kazakhstan. In this test, a 3 mm-thick stainless steel (SS) wall structure was placed between fuel pins and a 10 mm-thick sodium-filled channel (sodium gap). During the transient, fuel pins were heated, which led to the formation of a fuel-steel mixture pool. Under the transient nuclear heating condition, the SS wall was strongly heated by the molten pool, leading to wall failure. The time needed for fuel penetration into the sodium-filled gap was very short (less than 1 s after the pool formation). The result suggests that molten core materials formed in hypothetical LMFBR core disruptive accidents have a certain potential to destroy SS-wall boundaries early in the accident phase, thereby providing fuel escape paths from the core region. The early establishment of such fuel escape paths is regarded as a favorable characteristic in eliminating the possibility of severe re-criticality events. A preliminary interpretation on the WF test results is presented in this paper.  相似文献

A technique to determine a trace amount of hydrogen in carbon materials heat-treated above 1000 °C was developed. Three types of carbons prepared from poly(furfulyl alcohol), poly(vinyl chloride) and mesophase carbon microbeads were heat-treated at various temperatures ranging from 1000 to 1800 °C. Then they were gasified by O2 in a fixed bed flow reactor, and the H2O gases formed during the gasification processes were carefully monitored with a Karl Fischer moisture analyzer. As a result, this method makes it possible to determine the hydrogen contents in the carbons down to three places of decimals as a weight percent and can detect even a trace amount of hydrogen as low as 0.002 wt.%. A possible chemical structure of carbon edge sites was also discussed based on the experimentally determined hydrogen contents.  相似文献

Dynamic performance of a speed control system containing a self-controlled synchronous motor is analyzed in detail. It is shown that a field voltage control combined with a margin angle control secures safe commutation of the inverter during transients that cause a large variation in the dc link current and that a current limiter enables the motor speed to change almost linearly at a maximum torque. A simple and efficient control strategy for a fast speed response without an overshoot is then proposed, and the effectiveness of this proposed control as well as the field voltage and margin angle controls is confirmed by experimental investigation.  相似文献

Graft polymerization of methacrylic acid onto ABS resin was carried out using BPO as an initiator in THF solution. Degree of grafting increased with reaction time and reached 35% in 10 hrs. Carboxyl groups were converted to carboxylates (metal salts) by refluxing MAA-g-ABS and the metal acetate in THF. In the solid graft polymers in solid, the infrared absorption of the asymmetrical C= O vibration of the carboxylic acid shifted to lower wavenumbers with increasing metal ion concentration. The absorption peak for the carboxylate anion is shifted to higher wavenumbers with the increase of alkali metal ion concentration, however, for the Mg2+ salt, it is shifted to lower wavenumbers. The surface and volume resistivities of the K+ and Na+ salts of MAA-g-ABS were 9.0 × 109 and 9.5 × 109 at 80% neutralization, respectively, and decreased with alkali metal ion concentration. The electric resistance of Li+, Mg2+ and Zn2+ salts decreased only slightly. The modulus of the K+ salt of MAA-g-ABS decreased with neutralization, whereas in Li+, Mg2+ and Zn2+ salts, the modulus increased with increasing metal ion concentration.  相似文献

Leakage magnetic flux is occurred in the cracked area of magnetized specimens, and also it changes the magnetic domain area of the magneto-optical film positioned on the specimen. It causes the change of the optical permeability of the magnetic domain on the crack area. So crack images can be obtained easily using this principle. On the other hand, utilizing a laser in this method makes possible to perform a remote sensing by detecting the light intensity contrast between cracked area and normal area. This paper shows the application of non-destructive inspection system taking advantage of magneto-optical method for micro-cracks and presents examples applied to the several types of specimens having fatigue cracks and fabricated cracks using this method. Also the authors prove the possibility of this method as a remote sensing system under the oscillation load considering application to real fields.  相似文献
