High-throughput genotyping of Aspergillus oryzae was achieved using an FTA card for the extraction of a genomic DNA template for polymerase chain reaction from a fungal colony growing on an agar plate. This method was then applied to detect other fungal species from agar slants and food materials. This method offers a convenient tool for the genotyping of filamentous fungi without using an organic solvent or specialized equipment.  相似文献

An allyl di-glycol carbonate (ADC) sheet which has been utilised as a neutron detector for personal dosimetry has recently been studied for its application as a device for radiation exposure control for astronauts in space, where protons are the dominant radiation. It is known that the fabrication process, modified by adding some kind of antioxidant to improve the sensitivity of ADC to high energy protons, causes a substantial increase in false tracks, which disturb the automatic counting of proton tracks using the auto-image analyser. This made clear the difficulty of fabricating ADC sheets which have sufficient sensitivity to high energy protons, while maintaining a good surface. In this study, we have tried to modify the fabrication process to improve the sensitivity to high energy protons without causing a deterioration of the surface condition of ADC sheets. CMOS-technology scaling has moved to a power-constrained condition regardless of the application segments. Power management in advanced CMOS technology drives the need to conciliate scaling-driven fundamental material limitations with product and application evolution requirements. Flexible CMOS technologies and tighter interaction between process development and circuit/system design are needed to efficiently realize systems on a chip. This paper reviews issues associated with transistor scaling and co-optimization for power-management circuit-design schemes for active-and leakage-power control. In general, magnetic properties of bulk magnetic materials are independent of the humidity of the environment. To obtain a magnetic material that has humidity-sensitive characteristics, water vapour must penetrate the lattice and act on spin sites. Nanoporous materials composed of metal-assembled complexes may be expected to display some humidity response because materials in this category can show functionalities such as gas storage and molecular recognition. Here, we demonstrate humidity-induced reversible variations in the magnetic properties of cyano-bridged cobalt(II)-manganese(II)-chromium(III) metal assemblies. The observed magnetic humidity response is due to adsorption and desorption of a ligand water molecule on the cobalt ion, which changes cobalt (II) between a 6- and 4-fold coordination geometry and switches the magnetic interaction between ferromagnetic coupling and antiferromagnetic coupling.  相似文献

The mercury compounds used in dry cell batteries are inorganic mercurials. This report clarifies the possible formation of methyl mercury compounds in the contents of batteries obtained on the market. Using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry it was confirmed that the substance extracted from the ingredients is methyl mercury chloride.  相似文献

Loading characteristics of a prototype HCHO fuel cell systems with an anion exchange membrane which separates the anolyte from the catholyte were investigated. Electrodes of Cu or Pd, deposited by an electroless-plating technique onto the membrane, showed high electrocatalytic activity to the anodic oxidation of HCHO in 1 M NaOH solution. The system with Cu anode and 1 M NaOH for both anolyte and catholyte showed high loading characteristics but poor durability, whereas that with 1 M K2CO3 showed low characteristics because of lowered pH of the anolyte. It was shown that a dual solution-type cell with 1 M K2CO3 anolyte and 1 M NaOH catholyte yielded improved characteristics as compared with the simple K2CO3 system. The output level was, however, at an unsatisfactory level owing to poor membrane conductance. The temperature dependence of the output performance was studied in the range 7–55°C.  相似文献
