The efficient generation of the second-harmonic radiation of an Nd:YAG laser operating at 1.318 μ has been achieved in a deuterated cesium dihydrogen arsenate (CD*A) crystal. An overall peak power conversion efficiency of 40 percent was obtained for the experimental conditions described.  相似文献

Inter/cross modulation levels occurring in signals from stripe-geometry (GaAl)As double-heterostructure diode lasers are investigated by computer simulation for the case of time-division multiplexed (TDM) pulse-analog modulation (PAM). It is shown that pulse-position modulation (PPM) is the preferred modulation scheme for high pulse rates, and inter/cross modulation levels are evaluated for the format TDM-PPM. It is shown that the inter/cross modulation level is greatly improved when diode lasers are biased above threshold. Based on this evaluation, it is concluded that effectively inter/cross modulation-free optical transmission at a pulse rate up to108 times 10^{6}pulses per second by TDM-PPM is feasible. This limiting rate permits the transmission of 12 color TV channels or 10800 telephony channels.  相似文献

Two unnatural amino acids were found as by-products in isoleucine fermentation from threonine by Serratia marcescens. These amino acids were identified as L-norvaline (2-aminopentanoic acid) and L-homoisoleucine (2-amino-4-methylhexanoic acid). Formation of L-norvaline and L-homoisoleucine was not observed when L-leucine was added to the medium. The leucine auxotroph derived from the isoleucine accumlator did not produce L-norvaline or L-homoisoleucine even during the accumulation of large amounts of isoleucine. It is suggested that L-norvaline and L-homoisoleucine formation is closely related to leucine biosynthesis.  相似文献

Flaujeac trait is the functional deficiency of a plasma protein of the intrinsic coagulation, kinin-forming, and plasma fibrinolytic pathways. The Flaujeac factor in man has been isolated and tentatively identified as a kininogen of high molecular weight (HMW). Highly purified bovine HMW-kininogen, but not bovine low molecular weight kininogen, repaired Flaujeac factor deficiency. The two subspecies of this molecule, HMW-kininogen a and HMW-kininogen b, also corrected Flaujeac factor deficiency. When bovine HMW-kininogen was incubated with bovine plasma kallikrein, kinin-free HMW-kininogen, bradykinin, and a glycopeptide fragment (peptide 1-2; 12,584 daltons) were rapidly released. None of these fragmentation products corrected Flaujeac factor deficiency alone or in mixtures. The function of HMW-kininogen appeared to depend upon the structural integrity of the native molecule. When injected in concentrations of 2 pmol-8 nmol/0.1 ml, peptide 1-2 caused increased vascular permeability in rabbits, rats, or guinea pigs. The enhanced permeability was maximal within 1-2 min and terminated in 5-10 min, differing from that of bradykinin or histamine. Injected together in equimolar amounts, peptide 1-2 and bradykinin produced a synergistic permeability response which was immediate in onset as well as prolonged in duration. Peptide 1-2 is a rapidly acting, highly basic glyco-peptide which mediates increased vascular permeability in a complementary and synergistic manner with bradykinin.  相似文献

The conversion rate from 14 C-cholesterol to its 7 alpha-hydroxylated metabolites was studied in the microsome system prepared from mice liver with the pretreatment of S-methylmethionine (MMSC). In fluidized beds of 0.052 and 0.12 m i.d. air, water and aqueous solutions of carboxymethyl cellulose (viscosity = 9.0 X 10-4- 52 X 10-2 Pa s), and glass beads were used as gas, liquid and solid phase, respectively. The diameters of the glass beads were 4.2 X 10-4 6.6 X 10-4 1.2 X l0-3, and 2.2 X 10-3 m.The liquid holdup in the gas-liquid-solid fluidized bed was well correlated by modifying the Garside and Al-Dibouni's equation with the gas phase Froude number.The wall heat transfer coefficient of the gas-liquid-solid fluidized beds in the range of stable fluidization state runs correlated as a function of modified Nusselt number, modified Reynolds number and gas phase Froude number.  相似文献
