This communication presents a compact field de-correlation lines integrated dual band with dual-polarized (LP & CP) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna for the fifth generation (5G) sub-6-GHz wireless communication systems. Dual working bandwidths, smaller interelement gaps, and superior isolation within the MIMO components are the distinguishing characteristics that give the proposed MIMO system an aspect of novelty. The modeled MIMO antenna has compact configurations of 20 × 21 × 0.8 mm3. The unit cell consists of a microstrip feed line with optimized rectangular slots branches etched from the radiated patch. The MIMO module is generated by the antiparallel replication of a single unit cell. To enhance the isolation, two rectangular slots are incorporated on the patch between the unit elements, which act as field de-correlation lines. The MIMO identity is supported by diversity performance calculations in terms of ECC, DG, and TARC. Simulated and measured counterparts are found in the agreement. 相似文献
In recent years, although light-driven soft actuators have attracted intense scientific attention and achieved remarkable progress, the design and construction of an intelligent robotic system with maneuverability, self-adaptability, untethered control, and greater freedom of action, in particular the omnidirectional motion capability on a plane, remains challenging. Herein, four types of photo-thermal fillers and an unprecedented twist-bend actuation mode is introduced into a liquid crystal elastomer-based soft robot. The obtained twist-bend crawling robot not only exhibits in situ rotation, four-way turning, and four-way linear motion under light irradiation with four wavelength bands (520, 655, 808, and 980 nm), but also demonstrates the ability to avoid obstacles in complex geographical environments. This work may bring a new perspective for fabrication and development of soft robots that can adapt to dynamic and complex environmental conditions. 相似文献
The recently developed Li-excess cation-disordered rock salts (DRXs) exhibit an excellent chemical diversity for the development of alternative Co/Ni-free high-energy cathodes. Herein, the synthesis of a highly fluorinated DRX cathode, Li1.2Mn0.6Ti0.2O1.8F0.2, based on cost-effective and earth-abundant transition metals, via a solid-state reaction, is reported. The fluorinated DRX cathode using ammonium fluoride precursor exhibits more uniform particle size and delivers a specific discharge capacity of 233 mAh g−1 and specific energy of 754 Wh kg−1, with 206 mAh g−1 retained after 200 cycles. The combined synchrotron X-ray absorption spectroscopy and resonant inelastic X-ray scattering spectroscopy analysis reveals that the remarkable cycling performance is attributed to the high fluorination and thus enhanced Mn content, enabling the utilization of more Mn redox than the oxide analog. This study demonstrates a great promise to develop next-generation cost-effective DRX cathodes with enhanced capacity retention for high-energy Li-ion batteries. 相似文献

Introduction: Studies on fever of unknown origin (FUO) in patients of chronic kidney disease and end stage renal disease patients on dialysis were not many. In this study, we used 18 F‐FDG PET/CT scan whole body survey for detection of hidden infection, in patients on dialysis, labelled as FUO. Methods: In this retrospective study, 20 patients of end stage renal disease on dialysis were investigated for the cause of FUO using 18F‐FDG PET/CT scan. All these patients satisfied the definition of FUO as defined by Petersdorf and Beeson. Any focal abnormal site of increased FDG concentration detected by PET/CT, either a solitary or multiple lesions was documented and at least one of the detected abnormal sites of radio tracer concentration was further examined for histopathology. Findings: All patients were on renal replacement therapy. Of these, 18 were on hemodialysis and two were on peritoneal dialysis. 18F‐FDG PET/CT scan showed metabolically active lesions in 15 patients and metabolically quiescent in five patients. After 18F‐FDG PET/CT scan all, but one patient had a change in treatment for fever. Anti‐tuberculous treatment was given in 15 patients, antibiotics in four patients and anti‐malaria treatment in one patient. Discussion: The present study is first study of 18F‐FDG PET/CT scan in patients of end stage renal disease on dialysis with FUO. The study showed that the 18 F FDG PET/CT scan may present an opportunity to attain the diagnosis in end stage renal disease patients on dialysis with FUO. 相似文献
ABS is an engineering plastic that has butadiene part uniformly distributed over the acrylonitrile-styrene matrix. It possesses excellent toughness, good dimensional stability, easy processing ability, chemical resistance, and cheapness. However, it suffers from inherent shortcomings in terms of mechanical strength and vulnerability to environmental conditions. Furthermore, it is non-conducting and easily fretted. Plating on ABS can serve to enhance the strength and structural integrity as well as to improve durability and thermal resistance resulting in metallic properties on the ABS material. ABS is described as the most suitable candidate for plating because it is possible to deposit an adherent metal coating on it by only the use of chemical pretreatment process and without the use of any mechanical abrasion. This article aims to review the history of ABS plastics, properties of ABS, processes and mechanisms of plating, and studies of plating on ABS involving mainly eco-friendly methods of plating by discussing the literature published in recent years. The details of electroplating of ABS carried out in the authors’ laboratory are also presented. 相似文献
Context: Abuse potential of extended-release (ER) opioid tablets increases if tampering causes rapid opioid release.
Objective: To evaluate the susceptibility to tampering of biphasic immediate-release (IR)/ER oxycodone (OC)/acetaminophen (APAP) tablets compared with IR OC/APAP tablets.
Materials and methods: IR/ER OC/APAP and IR OC/APAP tablets were tested at room temperature and after heating, freezing and microwaving. Resistance to crushing was tested using manual and powered tools (e.g. spoons, mortar and pestle, blender, coffee grinder). Tampered tablets were tested for suitability for snorting, OC extraction in solvents and ease of drawing into a syringe. Dissolution of IR/ER OC/APAP in gastric fluid with and without ethanol was tested to determine the potential for facilitating precipitous release of opioid from the tablet.
Results: IR/ER OC/APAP tablets were more crush resistant than IR OC/APAP tablets. Heating, freezing and microwaving had no effect on crush resistance of IR/ER OC/APAP tablets. Although a mortar and pestle pulverized IR/ER OC/APAP tablets, upon contact with solvent, the powder formed a thick gel judged unsuitable for absorption through the nasal mucosa and could not be drawn into a syringe. In contrast, powder from crushed IR OC/APAP tablets dissolved readily, was judged suitable for snorting, and was easily drawn into a syringe. Dissolution of IR/ER OC/APAP tablets in gastric fluid was slowed by the addition of ethanol.
Discussion: IR/ER OC/APAP tablets are resistant to crushing and dissolution compared with IR OC/APAP tablets.
Conclusion: IR/ER OC/APAP tablets may have less potential for abuse involving tampering compared with IR OC/APAP tablets. 相似文献
Developing light weight polymer based composites dispersed with novel reinforcements which can function well in the presence of aggressive environments is an active research field in the materials engineering. Hence, in the current work, halloysite nanotubes (1 %, 2 %, 4 %, 6 %, 8 % and 10 % by weight) were reinforced into acrylonitrile butadiene styrene/polycarbonate blend and the role of reinforcing phases on the mechanical performance under aggressive environmental conditions has been evaluated. Hardness was measured as gradually increased in the composites with the increased content of the reinforcements. Impact strength of the composites was observed as increased in the composites up to 4 % reinforcement and further decreased. Increased strength was measured for the composite up to 2 % reinforcement. Ductility of the composites was decreased as reflected form the decreased % of elongation with the higher fraction of reinforcements due to induced brittleness. The composites were exposed to diluted sulfuric acid for 3 h and 6 h at 60 °C and then subjected to tensile loading. With the increased time of exposure, composites with 1 % and 2 % reinforcement exhibited relatively better performance. 相似文献
Chromatic effects of radial gradient-index materials have been analyzed, and several important conclusions have been derived in terms of material dispersion data. The use of Buchdahl dispersion data, both for base glass materials and ion-exchange pairs, provides some simple relationships for chromatic aberration and helps in selecting suitable materials for producing achromatic radial gradient-index lenses. 相似文献
