A shearing interferometer with a Kitty-type self-pumped phase-conjugate mirror is developed. The measurement of the focal length of a lens is demonstrated with a standard deviation of 1.5%. In addition, we measured the microdisplacement in the range of tens of micrometers with an error less than 2% by using the interferometer.  相似文献

We report the design and operation of a prototype conditional-sampling spectrograph detection system that can record the fluorescence spectra of individual, micrometer-sized aerosols as they traverse an intense 488-nm intracavity laser beam. The instrument's image-intensified CCD detector is gated by elastic scattering or by undispersed fluorescence from particles that enter the spectrograph's field of view. It records spectra only from particles with preselected scattering-fluorescence levels (a fiber-optic-photomultiplier subsystem provides the gating signal). This conditional-sampling procedure reduces data-handling rates and increases the signal-to-noise ratio by restricting the system's exposures to brief periods when aerosols traverse the beam. We demonstrate these advantages by reliably capturing spectra from individual fluorescent microspheres dispersed in an airstream. The conditional-sampling procedure also permits some discrimination among different types of particles, so that spectra may be recorded from the few interesting particles present in a cloud of background aerosol. We demonstrate such discrimination by measuring spectra from selected fluorescent microspheres in a mixture of two types of microspheres, and from bacterial spores in a mixture of spores and nonfluorescent kaolin particles.  相似文献

We discuss the design of a complete, compact holographic storage demonstrator based on a combination of spatial and angular multiplexing and using acousto-optic deflectors for rapid nonmechanical access. We also describe the implementation of this design and preliminary results of both the analog storage and the retrieval of 20,000 holograms in twenty 1-mm-thick layers of a lithium niobate crystal and of the digital storage and error-free retrieval of color images by using error-correcting techniques.  相似文献

The effect of a carbon containing atmosphere on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Fe-32Mn-9.4Al-1C-1.27Si alloy was investigated in this work. Surface oxide nodules and grain boundary oxides were found to form on this alloy when it was annealed in carbon-containing air at 1050 °C for 1 h. The oxidation reaction was thought to be the result of the green rot attack process. This alloy was embrittled severely by the carbon-containing air through the formation of surface oxide nodules and grain boundary oxide. The carbon-containing air enhanced the oxidation rate of this alloy at 1050 °C. The structure of the oxide nodules formed on this alloy in the carbon-containing air was similar to that observed on a FeMnAl alloy heated in 1000 °C air for 24 h.  相似文献

Growth of [0 0 /] preferentially oriented Pb1 - x La x (Zr y Ti z ) O3 (PLZT) thin films was carried out by using targets of either tetragonal or rhombohedral structure. The tetragonal films grew in a similar manner to the rhombohedral films. Both the substrate temperature (500 or 550 C) and oxygen pressure (0.1 mbar, 10 Pa) required stringent control in order to deposit [0 0 /]-textured PLZT thin films. The ferroelectric and fatigue properties were examined.The films deposited on YBa2Cu3O7 - x and CeO2 coated silicon (YBCO/CeO2/Si) substrates possessed substantially lower remanent polarization than those grown on YBCO coated SrTiO3 (YBCO/STO) substrates; this is ascribed to inferior crystallinity of the PLZT/YBCO/CeO2/Si films. The remanent polarization of tetragonal PLZT films was degraded insignificantly up to 108 polarization switching cycles, whereas that of rhombohedral PLZT films was already reduced to 80% of the initial value after 108 cycles. Low endurance of rhombohedral films was ascribed to the periodic stress induced when the inclined spontaneous polarization vector (P = [111]) switched. On the other hand, high endurance of tetragonal films was explained by the fact that the spontaneous polarization vector (P = [001]) lies along the film's normal such that switch cycles cause no lateral stress.  相似文献

Damping characteristics of a musical bell plays an important role in characterizing the musical sound. The total damping consists of acoustical damping and internal damping. Acoustical damping depends upon resonating frequencies and vibration patterns while internal damping is a material property. The acoustical damping of a vibrating structure is formulated via boundary element method and finite element method using eigenmode decomposition. The design sensitivity of acoustical damping is derived using an adjoint variable method of the eigenvalue problem. Design optimization of a musical bell is then performed in terms of acoustical parameters. The goal of the optimization problem is to design a harmonically tuned bell with given acoustical damping values. The proposed automated design process integrates finite element analysis, boundary element analysis, design sensitivity analysis, mode-tracking algorithm and optimization module, seamlessly. It is demonstrated by numerical examples to show practical applications.  相似文献

This paper investigates the fuzzy control problem of a class of nonlinear continuous-time stochastic systems with achieving the passivity performance. A model-based observer feedback fuzzy control utilizing the concept of so-called parallel distributed compensation (PDC) is employed to stabilize the class of nonlinear stochastic systems that are represented by the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy models. Based on the Lyapunov criteria, the Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) technique is used to synthesize the observer feedback fuzzy controller design such that the closed-loop system satisfies stability and passivity constraints, simultaneously. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed design method.  相似文献

Electro-osmotically driven displacement between two solutions having a conductivity mismatch is theoretically examined. Internal pressures induced by the conductivity mismatch can affect the propagation of the solution interface and the behavior of the transient current. Combining Ohm’s law and fluid mass conservation, we derive a coupled set of length-averaged equations accounting for how the electric current and the traveling distance of the solution interface vary with time, electric field, and the solution conductivities. Extension to successive displacements involving multiple solution zones is made to reveal non-monotonic and stagewise changes in transient currents. For the first time, critical roles of surface conductance on displacements in highly charged channels are unraveled. We show that if the lower conductivity solution has a greater valence than the higher one, the effective conductivity of the former can exceed that of the latter when the channel height is below some critical value. The resulting transient current behavior can turn opposite to that usually observed in the large-channel case, offering a new paradigm for gauging the importance of surface conductance in submicron charged channels. Possible impacts of diffusion smearing and hydrodynamic dispersion are also discussed by including the additional mixing zone into the analysis. Having shown good agreement with the existing experimental data, our analysis not only captures the natures of solution displacement by electro-osmotic flow (EOF), but also extends the applicability of the current monitoring method for measuring surface zeta potentials of microchannels.  相似文献

针对目前雷达装备测试性论证、设计和验收中缺乏系统、有效的测试性验证方法的问题,提出了适合于雷达装备测试性验证程序和实施方案,重点对测试性定量指标验证样本量的确定方法、故障注入模式的选取原则、故障样本分配以及系统测试性评价进行了研究;该验证方法充分考虑了装备承制方和订购方风险,可用于雷达装备故障检测率、故障隔离率和虚警率的验证与评估;最后进行了实例分析,结果表明该方法能够达到测试性验证的效果,具有一定的实用性和参考价值。  相似文献
